A good continuation of the story. There's parts where I felt I wasn't following the story that well, but for the most part, it all works out well, and we're left with some questions answered by the end, and some (slight) glimpses of what's to come. Overall, a good read, and one I can easily recommend if you're enjoying the rest of the books in the series. If you haven't read any other books in the series, this probably isn't the place to start, since many characters have too much of a backstory to get the full impact of the story.
The Freetraders have a secret. It's about time they took the war to the UEC instead of waiting for them to attack. Freetraders and the leewits (natives to the rim) are eager to get it on. Hit 'em hard, hit 'em fast. Good motto. Get ready for another wild adventure. Exciting plot and engaging characters make this book a real hit.
I'm sad... I finished the book! This just came out-I pre-ordered it as soon as I saw it was set up. The sadness is that it will likely be a long wait for book five! I was hooked on this series as soon as I started the first book. I've read all that Kelley has written. I especially love this series-the characters, the story line, the timing, the humor-all done well. Kelley does an excellent job with story flow. Unlike many of today's Indie authors, she doesn't have the issue of throwing in a lot of un-neccesary detail. The pace is good, keeping the action moving at an enjoyable rate. i haven't found myself bored with any of it. I haven't been overwhelmed by TOO much action, either. It isn't every day that I get as far as book four in a series without beginning to feel that I've had enough. This is one of the exceptions. I'm going to be anxiously waiting for the next book, knowing that there's little chance I'll be disappointed with it! The action is heating up with the Rimriders and the Leewits! Zebras beware! Hit em fast, hit em hard!
