Wow, let me just start with that. I think I hit every emotion possible reading this book. Tissues will be needed, I received it along with the third in line of the series in the July-Aug. book giveaway. So glad I did too. I will get the next one Rogan so I can see him happy again. Really happy. This is one is intense, erotic, and action filled book.
This is centered around Rogan a military man who is a sniper along with his friend Falcon they are a team. After being deployed for six months the first back in state they go directly into dinner at the Colonel’s with his wife and nineteen, almost twenty in a week, daughter, Violet as he comes to call her, too. She is curvier than sin and displaying all her goods. For sure catching Twenty nine year old Rogue’s eye.
She even seeks out the guys at a unlisted bar. The flirting is off the charts. The two guys share her for a night but it’s Rogan she wants. But after that night she makes it known she wants only him. One text to her leads to a call and then another. But she’s a friend only. See where, when, and how things change so fast and how one disciplined highly trained man can lose his heart to smart vixen.
Missing all the signs her own parts who lived with her didn’t see through their own grief of their own sons passing a year prior. Her depression was pretty in your face and they all missed it. Even him, as they say love blinds you. Although, Violet taught Boggs how to love with all his heart but she also made him very reckless
You will want to read this gripping story of a man who must pick up his life and move on after a tragic ending to a love he feels so deeply even years later. But life moves on. This is a must read but ladies have tissues. There are some odd things that have to be for the story only but still good.

Rogan has been granted a gift to try for the Delta Force and has no time for a woman. Except when he gives into Eden.
He wants to risk it all for her and he just might. When Eden shows up over seas it could be the end for both of them.
A story of tragic that happens to both of the characters. Eden lost her brother a little big ago and now Rogan has to deal with Eden being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It gives you a better sense of why Rogan is the way he is in the next book.

I really enjoyed this story, I liked the storyline and the twist in it was interesting. Violet is a prequel novella to understanding Rogan and the rest of the guys in his alpha team. His marriage to Eden was emotional and sweet and showed his softer side but I honestly couldn't wrap my head around Eden, she is a military brat who knows all about how soldiers live but she went and did the dumbest thing ever. I understood her reasoning but maybe she wasn't as mature and understanding as she made herself to be. My heart went out to Rogan and the boys.
Well-written quick read, the storyline is fast-paced and filled with drama and action.

Violet is Book 1.5 of Bex Dane's Men of Siege series. This is the first book I have read by this author and it certainly will not be the last. I actually plan to go back and check out her back list to see what else she has to offer.
Even though this story has a very young, naive, troubled heroine and there is not a HEA, it was very engaging and drew me in from the start. This is actually considered the prequel to Ms. Dane's next story in this series. While I didn't really feel a connection to Eden (aka Violet), I certainly did with Rogan.
I cannot wait to get my hands on "Rogan" and see if he finally gets his HEA.

Great Book!

I really enjoyed reading the back story. I’ve already read Rogan and having the details to his story was great!
It’s a sad story but it gives you some history of Rogan.
I highly recommend that you read Violet before you read Rogan. You’ll be glad you did!

I read Rogan first which was an amazing read, I wasn’t planning on reading Violet but I’m glad I did. I have a better understanding of the events the transpired before Rogan. I’m not going to lie it’s an emotional ride but worth the read. You get to learn more about the characters you came to love in Rogan and if this your first book by this author you won’t be disappointed. This series is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

This is the start not the end of Rogan. He doesn't get his HEA in this story but he gets to meet the important people that you will fall for. Bex draws you in and makes you roll over and scream give me the rest. I loved it so hard. This book is amazing. I wanted to keep reading and I wanted the HEA but the way she works it in this book works for the characters. Way to go.

This was an emotional book in different ways. You see what happens from the beginning (and I’m not saying what in case you don’t know), your heart breaks for Rogan, but you see him starting to come back to himself. That ended though, tears. This is a definite need to read. The whole series is

I finished this book within a few hours of starting it. I enjoyed the Alpha characters that were strong not only physically but mentally. The storyline was intriguing and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I am new to Bex Dane and I loved this book. I needed a few tissues during my read time. This book hits some very real issues that happen today albeit in a round about way. Can not wait to dive into the next book.

I read Rogan's book before reading this but it didn't take anything away from the story. It was good to get the background of what happened with his first wife and this is just as good as the other books in the series.

I keep reading these books out of order...I wish I read this before I read Rogan because I knew vaguely what would happen. But having said that, I did enjoy reading Eden’s story (the title wasn’t obvious enough to indicate I should’ve read this before or after Rogan). I finally understand why a Rogan is who he is and how he came to own Takoda. That was a nice touch. It also introduced all the characters of a Rogan’s team. There was a mangled paragraph that was just a mess of typo’d sentences that I couldn’t work out what it was meant to read as but other than that it was an easy read.

Ok don’t say I didn’t warn you...this story had potential, but fell flat on its ass when a 19 year old immature spoiled slut screws you and your buddy and BAM your in love. Switch to a trip to Vegas where slut girl wants a wedding and you agree. Fast forward to chapter 10 because I’m freaking bored with this story
Wife has been kidnapped, raped and killed. After 5 weeks of marriage she’s dead because again, immature needy slut didn’t listen. Now he’s been 4 years without her and hasn’t moved on...only vengeance 🤪 I never need to read another book in this series

This book was ok. Rogan fell for a 19 year old that wasn't all that mature and clingy. Since her brothers death she's been trying to prove herself. When rogan and his friends go on a mission she follows. Very sad story.
