Absolute Knowledge #3

Absolute Infinite

Rate this book
Olympus was a trap, but we left with our lives and hope for the future. We had a map to an underground weapons lab outside of New York that could give us what we needed to the defeat the Omniscience Engine for good. Infinitum was seemingly gone, but in its place was a new enemy: Supreme Leader Evelyn Aeoxus.

My name is Jacob Ashton, and this is my story.

Absolute Infinite is the third novel in the Absolute Knowledge series which takes place in the ruins of New York. Olympus is overcome by a new regime of power, and the survivors of the country are in more danger than ever before. With time running out, Jake must unite with his allies and trust the mechanical ghost of his father to provide the Champions of Liberty with a way to win the great struggle and save humanity.

In Absolute Infinite, everything begins and ends.

Continuing the great cyberpunk science fiction tradition of authors like William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, Ernest Cline, and John Shirley, the Absolute Knowledge series is a dystopian science fiction series of great depth and scope that brings something to the table for everyone.

Drew Cordell's future of humanity is surrounded by an AI with inscrutable aims.

In the first novel, what began with a hi-tech dystopia where scarcity was in the mind and humanity is harvested for a very clever use has led to rebellion.

Later on, we're thrown into a rich dystopia with other people who are much better off, but it leads right to the heart of War.

Think Terminator and a long-changing torn world as humanity is exterminated.

But the third book's reveals pick up on a number of fascinating hints in the previous two, taking us right into bootstrapping AI with even more time-travel goodies and much more in the way of uploaded consciousnesses, hi-tech warfare, and discovery, but don't think this is some sort of simple riff on other tales. These novels run with all the implications and is a rather more epic and well-developed.

It's definitely not fluff. It's delicious for all the great SF elements, the interesting character arc, the reveals, and the ultimate shape of the trilogy. :)

All you post-cyberpunk junkies will be doing yourself a great disservice if you ignore this. Seriously. :)

The third novel in my critically-acclaimed Absolute Knowledge series is finally here. I'm thrilled to share the final piece to the first major arc of the series. All of my books are free to read with Kindle Unlimited.

If you enjoy science fiction, you should definitely check out this series, especially since book 1 is only 99¢ (Jan 25th- 31st) to celebrate the launch of Absolute Infinite. UK sale starts on January 26th.

In other news, I am hard at work on my other writing projects including Stratus Online: Godsworn and my collaboration with New York Times Bestselling Author M.D. Cooper.

Meh

This popped up out of nowhere, considering it was still at 75% on the author's webpage. I'd say that was actually accurate, despite the release. Felt completely unfinished and that's rather disappointing.

I really enjoyed the premise of the books but was disappointed by the ending. I’m really hoping that there will be another book.
