Every American should read this book, and also the research that went into it.
The quotes used at the beginning of each section or chapter (given an entire page) are 5 star. I'll give you some examples. The one used for the Introduction and also for the page prior to Chapter 1 which is titled The Deep State Embraces the #NeverTrump Movement. (This intro and 1st chapter were 5 star exact to dates and documentation between all of these operatives.)

All of the following chapters have superb single whole page quotes in such a manner. Another of my favorites which occurs when they (various DOJ and NSA) redefine on their own what is classified or lie regardless of the classifications at the time of the action:

The book is specific. It gives chapter and verse dating and witness documentation for detailing the progressions within the DOJ and their associates of the "outside". Most are exactly pertaining to the money, power and exact category of particular tangent position that Eisenhower warned about in his Military/Industrial Complex etc. speech. Oh was that man correct in his foretelling abilities.
It's not a difficult read. It only took me about 2 hours and I saw some of these procedural aspects in real time of their exposure or hearing, so I could put a face upon each name too. Not on networks or cable stations either, but in the boring real time forms. I can get them for the majority of the Senate or Congress involved, especially. The reader needs to follow the actual emails and the obscuring techniques currently being used to obstruct parts of the emails, but also in easy and precise fashion-you need to follow the money. The path of the money is prime. Not always straight and usually it falls into LLC or Foundation or some obscuring "necessary" costs on the way. But you can follow it.
Corsi goes a bit too far in some personal character assumptions, IMHO. Only in a couple and possibly he is right about those too. He's certainly correct upon McCain and the other NeverTrump Republican haters from the days of the 16 other candidates. But that supposition of outcomes for such individuals he portents for their long term eventuality within this book is only about 5% of the book at the most. That's why I dropped a star. Most (90% of the short and precise information is just that without an interpretation) is in exact detail and action/ counteraction progression of verifiable document, or video, or recording as they happened. And not opinion at all. Those who gave this 1 star have not read the book. Or any of the departmental FBI emails of these last 2 years either. Or of the history to how these people have attained their power positions. Swamp indeed.
His summation at what Trump needs to do in countering the current 4th branch and non-elected self-protected, effete that exists within our government (not only the Justice Dept - but banking, military, media- hired through lobby and PACS, moles and association by $$ protected by the Justice Dept) is spot on. Because I've watched the actual proceedings in real time (not network interpretation) as most of this has gone down- I think this book, if anything, under reports the money handling aspects between at least 8 or 10 of these characters. Those actions in his past completed by Robert Mueller in particular. Especially within exact details of how that uranium purchase by Russia went down in real time and where the monies and the goods both landed. Not only in the Clinton Foundation slush fund revolving cash bag.
Ironically I read this just as the Comey / Mueller emails to each other of years and of last year in particular are coming out. The actual collusion.
Read it. Especially the Counteroffensive Trump Must Launch.

This is a great book describing how the democratic is killing the American way of life including the Godly values, the love of family and the love and respect for others and the love for country. People need to wake up and listen to this or get killed by the rederick of the domocratic party. I recommend this book to all.

I've been trying to read a number of books from different parts of the political spectrum. I had hoped that this would be a thoughtful, well-researched argument. It isn't.
This is like "The Room" for modern American politics. Written by the DC Bureau Chief for Infowars, it delivers some real jaw-dropping moments. My favorite moment came within the first couple chapters when the author casually throws out that the CIA assassinated JFK. A runner-up was the accusation that Mitch McConnell is working with the Democrats and the Deep State to profit off the international banking/drug trade.
This book is essentially historical fiction, but written in real time by a hateful and aggressive narrator.

Had the whole story
Corsi goes into great depth, and deconstructs for us the players, the why, the how, of the ongoing coup of an elected president Donald Trump. There is more than one motive, more than one player, many moving parts that Corsi captures for us in this book. You will be left stunned and shocked. This coup is well known and observed by all Americans, but Corsi explains it in its entirety. The end of the story, how the coup finishes is still in the works.

I read this book in a day to try and understand how conservatives think about Trump, and what they believe went on during the 2016 election.
I’m giving this book one star, because sometimes it’s just flat out wrong, and other times crazy. For example, the author claims that Russia didn’t release the damaging DNC emails, but it was “computer expert Seth Rich was the one who stole the DNC emails from the inside, leaking copies to Julian Assange at Wikileaks.” (p. 150) This is false according to US intelligence reports, and was in fact part of Russian interference of the 2016. Rather than offer evidence, the author simply says everything we are told is wrong and there is a “Deep State” conspiracy.
Another part of the book brings up George Soros and actually says that he wants to destroy America. There’s no evidence to this, and that’s where the crazy comes in. This book is full of it, and I can’t take it seriously.
I know exactly who this book is meant for. For people that want to live in a fantasy world, and believe that a billionaire is a victim of some crazy conspiracy by the government. Even though there is overwhelming evidence he had close ties to a foreign hostile government.

Essential reading for every American
Author Corsi's research was impeccable, underscoring and validating everything I witnessed, as a reporter in Washington, D.C., during the 1990s. Clearly, the situation has worsened considerably, since I was transferred. The Deep State is powerful, pervasive and the outlaw/rogue fourth arm of government. And it's absolutely committed to driving President Trump from office. Only a brain-dead ideologue would deny its existence and question the truths in this excellent book.

This book should be classified under humor because I laughed out loud often at how ridiculous it is. The author is called a “conspiracy theory expert” so you know what you’re going to get. Absolutely no facts and only rumor and innuendo repeated from the GOP and Fox News. The sad part is people will believe this garbage because they won’t do real research (just like the “author” who clearly does not know what a reliable source is). I wish there was a zero star option.

I actually did not complete reading this book. It was that bad.
It's marketed as politics/non-fiction. I assume that's only because calling political conspiracy theory of this magnitude fiction would be an grave insult to fiction. I looked into it for balance, having already read the far more mainstream books "How Democracies Die" by Stephen Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt and "One Nation After Trump" by E.J. Dionne, Norman J. Ornstein, and Thomas E. Mann. I hoped that despite the title, it would not be another nutjob puking his conspiracy theory guts out into print, but instead bring balance to my reading. That turned out to not be the case. It went WAY overboard. By comparison, Democracies and One Nation were board even despite having a far less Trump-friendly tone.
The author is Dr Jerome Corsi. All you need to know about him is that he's the Washington bureau chief for Alex Jones's InfoWars website. Yes. THAT Alex Jones. And THAT InfoWars. If that appeals to you, so be it. This might be up your alley. If you're like me, however, even bemused tolerance may not be enough to carry you through this one and I encourage you to steer far clear of it. As I told a dear friend, I almost did not make it through the introduction. That I made it through that and three chapters is nothing short of a minor miracle.

Great Book
Both conservatives and liberals (assuming they are open to other views) would benefit from this book. Highlights much of what is behind the desire to preserve the Deep State by the elites in both
both parties and why Trump is a risk to their corruptive behavior to enrich themselves at the expense of the rest of us. Something you would expect in Zimbabwe, but not the U.S.

Dear lord this book is awful. Just toss this book away and read “The Russia Hoax” by adjunct law professor Greg Jarret or “Liars, Leakers, and Liberals” by Judge Jeanine Pirro. Jerome Corsi relies WAY too much on Infowars and WND for sources in the book. On top of that, the author promulgates dubious conspiracy theories throughout the book. Don’t waste your time on this garbage and just read the books mentioned above.

Corsi has a PhD from Harvard in political science and has developed a penchant for investigating political scandals. This book mostly details the 2016 presidential election and the first few months of the Trump presidency. However, the author bounces around to discuss the history of James Comey, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Jeff Sessions and Robert Mueller. Jerome Corsi focuses on people and organizations plotting against Trump. Some of these people are inside Federal agencies and collectively form the name "Deep State". Corsi's bias for Trump is crystal clear and some of Corsi's claims are unsupported. However, the facts and quotes presented in this book are still disturbing. The Russia investigation is one of the most troubling given that Robert Mueller has a long history of backroom deals with Russia. Why was Mueller appointed to head a Russian Collusion investigation ? This book is a quick read and will open up many new questions even for the most astute political observers.

A must read for every American. I cannot applaud this book enough! Mr Corsi successfully explains everything, connecting the dots and making sense of the last several years of political news we've all witnessed. He goes far beyond that, making crystal clear what President Trump faces. May God continue to protect our President, our Land, and all Americans.

I read books whether I agree or disagree with their theses. Trump's an idiot but sometimes the left criticises him when he doesn't deserve it. If anything, it emboldens his supporters, who are now less likely to trust his critics. This book is for such Trump defenders.
This super pro Trump book is uncritical of him at every turn, 100% patriotic and a bit Godly, too ("in the end God wins"). He makes a few fair points about the media's blanket criticism of Trump which they do even on the rare occasion that he does nothing wrong but unfortunately the author said so many stupid things that he discredited himself. A quick sample:
1. You can't use dinosaur fossils to make oil.
What on Earth are you talking about, you fool?
2. He worked for infowars
I've watched some infowars over the years, and actually, on occasion it's actually useful. However, good points are quite rare so you have to wade through a lot of this; kind of like a guy going into a shopping mall to get the bad guy by holding down the trigger of a machine gun and doing a 360 degree turn - yes, you may have injured the bad guy but you also killed 50 innocents.
3. Claims Comey is a Clinton protector. He does it in return for money.
Oh? How much money did he make when he reopened the Clinton investigation one week before the vote?
It's an easy read and makes a few fair points, but the blatantly and easily verifiably wrong points are in such plenty that you're better off reading something else.

It’s a little too conspiratorial at times, but for the most part Corsi’s claims are backed by supporting evidence and documentation. Incredibly provocative and eye-opening, Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump exposes the nefarious schemes of those within the government who are working to undo Trump’s election.

The title is wrong for what Dr. Corsi argued in this book. Dr. Corsi never identified the puppet masters known as the Deep State. Instead, he focused on those minions that are undermining the United States Constitution and are throwing a temper tantrum because HRC lost a Presidential election.
Dr. Corsi did okay at recapping the election, Uranium One, the Clinton Foundation, Antifa, Soros, and I would recommend this book to anyone trying to understand why the House Judiciary Committee are investigation Peter Strocyk, Rosenstein, etc... It is a fine introduction as to how ee got to this point in history.
The research is fine, but Dr. Corsi could've gone deeper with what's been revealed on Wikileaks. Corsi claims that the mainstrean news mefia are Deep State. Nope. They're just corporate news using the same anti-Trump talking points.

You could highlight this whole book. The convinced will read it for back up when posting on Facebook or when talking to misguided friends and the occasional useful idiot and #NeverTrump zombie. This was a very good book in certain respects. It opened my eyes a little more to the corruption of the Deep State in the US. I had not known some of the backstory of Comey/Mueller/Lynch/etc. and how corrupt they have been in the past. Makes some great connections between media, judiciary and Democrats, especially Hillary and Obama. Discouraging and intriguing. One thing that surprised me technically was the amount of editing errors and seemingly unintentional redundancy I found in the book. Often using a clearly wrong word, and definitions repeated in successive paragraphs made me lose a little respect for the book. But overall an important book to read.

Since thus book was written it has become more obvious what the deep state and sorry Democrats are up too. I really hope the White House will take your suggestions about the briefings. They are only giving CNN and other left wing nut jobs their moments on camera. Communicate directly to the people online and outlets like Fox News.
