The cliffhanger is real! The manga is exciting! But I wish character designs were better, even though the art is clear and clean. And the murderer is obvious! This can't be that easy, right?

La vuelta al presente viene con toda una serie de problemas. Es un buen tomo, sin duda, pero algo inferior a los dos anteriores (tómense mis tres estrellas como, en realidad, tres y media). La trama pierde cierto interés al virar directamente hacia el thriller más enfocado porque, al menos como yo lo veo, algunas situaciones se fuerzan para mayor impacto. Nada parece puesto al tuntún, cosa maravillosa teniendo en cuenta que ya llevamos tres tomos de esta historia, pero sí que hay menos conexión con sus personajes. La madre, por lógica, pierde totalmente su presencia en el argumento, y ni Airi ni el jefe acaban de cuajarme. Eso sí, la inclusión de un nuevo personaje, el investigador, es realmente interesante y funciona como un tiro para reforzar la búsqueda del asesino en serie. Durante todo el tomo está presente la huida del protagonista, pero tanto el juego del gato y el ratón como la investigación del protagonista se llevan correctamente. En vez de alargar arbitrariamente la trama, Sanbe sabe cómo usar a sus personajes (Airi, especialmente) para intensificar el argumento.
A pesar de todo esto, no tengo mucho que decir de este tomo. Está bien y ahí se queda. Sigo sin comprender las críticas de muchos al dibujo: vale que no sea excelente y sea algo feo de ver, pero creo que se tiene poco en cuenta el dominio del paneling del autor y la forma en que plantea las escenas más potentes con ángulos y tamaños de viñeta.
A pesar de todo esto, no tengo mucho que decir de este tomo. Está bien y ahí se queda. Three and a half.
The protagonist's "rerun" back to 18 years ago has ended. He has failed miserably; he believes he has changed nothing at all, and he's back in a present where he's a fugitive. The killer from his childhood has framed the protagonist as the most likely murderer of his own mother. The poor guy has to navigate through his remaining options while discovering who are on his side and who are ready to betray him.
The bad guy edges closer to the forefront. He manipulates the manager of the pizza shop where the protagonist worked, in order to learn more about him and about his possible connections. In a bold move the killer . Now we get the idea that the bad guy isn't simply a perverted kidnapper of kids, but someone crafty and with connections; possibly even a politician. A point that I missed when I watched the anime is that 18 years ago this guy had killed one of the protagonist's male friends (one who looked and acted like a girl for the most part) deliberately so the police wouldn't consider him a suspect, because if the actual killer's MO was to kill girls, only someone outside of that male victim's circle wouldn't have known that he was a boy. Very clever.
The biggest revelation that the protagonist experiences regarding his actions is that the "rerun" that landed him 18 years ago .
This ends in another significant cliffhanger (the author managed to end each volume in big ones so far): .

OMG the suspense and the pain and the frustration.
Although I'm not a fan of the art, the story is soooo good sooo dark and definitely highly recommended. Just check the trigger warning because this one is pretty dark and disturbing.

CH 13-18
Creo que en este tomo se ve mucho como va creciendo como persona Satoru, empieza a aprender a apoyarse en los demás y que las cosas no han sido su culpa (cosa que le atormente bastante). Me gusta mucho como se abren tanto Airi y Satoru, es lindo como ella le llega a contar la razón por la que ella "quiere creer" que él no ha sido. Quiero shipearlos, pero ella tiene 17 y él 29, mi moral no me deja hacerlo.

Terminado el tercer tomo y estoy con ganas de ver de nuevo el anime para comparar qué subtramas han cortado o acortado en la adaptación, porque, por ahora, me parece bastante fiel. Frente a "Tokyo Ghoul", que a partir del tomo ocho del manga, la serie era bastante diferente; no recuerdo grandes diferencias entre el anime y el manga de "Desaparecido".
En este volumen, Satoru se enfrenta a volver al presente y tener que aceptar sus fracasos tras intentar evitar la muerte de una niña en el pasado. El último "revival", la experiencia que le hace viajar en el tiempo, no ha salido nada, pero que nada bien. Eso sí, desde la actualidad, encuentra inesperados aliados que le permiten ir sacando una teoría sobre quién podría ser el asesino de su madre y varios de sus amigos en la infancia.
En este tomo, Sanbe se pasa más rato con las posibilidades, las teorías y las persecuciones que conducen a un "cliffhanger" que nos obliga a seguir leyendo. Si bien, aunque reconozco que la línea temporal de 2006 es más que necesaria, por puro hedonismo lector sigo disfrutando más de la niñez de los personajes. No obstante, la serie es estupenda.
En conclusión, "Desaparecido" es un "thriller" perfecto para todos aquellos que crecimos con "It" y nos quedamos un poco huérfanos con "Death Note", sin olvidarnos de los tipos a los que nos encantan las paradojas temporales.

Story-wise, this volume was super exciting! Satoru is back in present but is in deep trouble as he is running from police who think he murdered his mother.
As Satoru is trying to figure out what is going on and who is the murderer, he gets help from Airi but also from another person, a colleague of his mother. These murder mystery parts are very well done, there are little tidbits revealed here and there and it keeps you turning the page. Airi can seem a bit simple but she's really goodhearted and nice balance to all dark stuff. Satoru is way too careless in his escape, which makes you want to scream at him, but it's also more relatable that way, most of us, if put in that situation, wouldn't probably be experts on being on the run. And yes, it also makes the chase more exciting because you don't know if Satoru is again lucky or not.
However, as with previous volumes, I'm withholding one star because I still dislike the art. There are moments I can "ignore" it but then a picture/panel sticks out sorely and I notice it again.
Unfortunately this volume's Finnish edition has had a mishap with aligning the pages while printing, some of the pages have been cut too close and speech bubbles on the edge have half a letter missing.

COMMENTO PERSONALE: Finalmente da questo numero la storia comincia ad appassionarmi di più. Purtroppo Kayo è scomparsa nonostante il tentativo di salvarla da parte di Satoru. Lui ritorna nel 2006 ed è accusato di omicidio verso la madre. Si ritrova da solo e pensa di cavarsela con le sue sole forze ( qualcuno meno male crederà alla sua versione e farà di tutto per aiutare). Quello che mi ha sconvolta maggiormente sono due fatti sulla madre:
- Lei sapeva qualcosa a proposito dell’assassino
- Non ha badato molto al proprio figlio

Quand ce n'est pas une époque, c'en est une autre, cette fois-ci Satoru est de retour en 2006.
On le retrouve là où il a quitté son présent : juste après le meurtre de sa mère. Il est poursuivi par les forces de l'ordre car le meurtrier a réussi à faire de lui le suspect numéro un.
Dans ce tome, on apprend à connaître Airi. Et j'avoue que je l'adore. Je la trouve adorable, toujours souriante et j'adore sa façon de faire confiance à Satoru. Même si elle le connait peu, elle le connait assez pour savoir qu'il n'est pas le coupable.
Un autre personnage fait son entrée : Mr Sawada. Un ami de la mère de Satoru et je sens qu'il va jouer un rôle assez important !
On a pas mal d'indices concernant le meurtrier, on le croise encore. Mais son identité reste secrète. Je pense que l'auteur essaie de nous mener vers de fausses pistes. En tout cas, je me pose plein de questions quant à son identité et à ses motivations.
Juste un petit truc que j'ai trouvé dommage : même en sachant qu'il est recherché Satoru sort sans se cacher. Il porte les mêmes vêtements et ne fait même pas l'effort de cacher son visage. J'ai trouvé ça un peu idiot, car ça le rend vite repérable.

Nun sind wir wieder bei einen wie ich finde fast normalen Manga Cover angekommen. Es passt zum Inhalt ist jedoch nicht mehr so schön wie beim ersten Teil, jedoch habe ich auch an dem Cover nichts auszusetzen.

Der ganze Zeichenstil ist hier etwas ernster. Es geht in dem Buch einfach um sehr viel und das merkt man auch.

THIS SERIES IS AMAZING!!!! I love it so STINKEN much! I could never EVER see where it was going! I felt like the teacher was it cause he gave me creepy vibes but then he helped Kayo and your like nah never mind! And you really like him and how much he cares for Saturo! And then he is in a coma for 15 years!!! Like what the heck! And when he wakes up he can’t remember things except his first life as a kid! And you just want to tell them I KNOW THE MURDER!!!!!! I can’t stop reading it it’s so good! I wish I could dedicate a day of just sitting and reading the whole series in one shot! My dream!

This manga series is amazing. I love how this story mixes murder mystery with time traveling. The third volume was little bit confusing and things happened little bit too fast for my liking but same time I really enjoyed this volume. The story was addicting, fascinating and full of surprising plot twists which is the reason why I read this manga in one sitting.
I have to warn you that this volume ends with cliffhanger and you will feel the need to have the fourth volume in your hands. I will definitely read the fourth volume in this month (June) because I really want to know what happens next.

Me gusto este tomo. No fue tan bueno como el segundo, pero me gustó.
Siento que, dependiendo en la época donde se ubica la historia, cambia un poco el tono. No pasa a ser infantil cuando viajamos a la infancia del protagonista, pero se me hace mucho más llevadero. Y cuando volvemos al presente se hace un poco más pesado. Nose, lo siento así. Por otro lado, conocemos más a Katagiri y, en mi caso, te vas encariñado cada vez más con ella.
Y para terminar, tiene un final tan bueno que es imposible no querer leer siguiente

Cadeau de mon grand frère, et il a tapé juste !
On est loin de la new romance mais vraiment, je pense avoir adoré au moins 6 tomes sur 8. J’ai quand même eu du mal avec les retours en arrière (je ne suis pas très fan). À part ça, beaucoup d’actions, d’intrigue, le personnage principal est attachant et a de belles valeurs. C’était un plaisir de le suivre dans sa quête de vérité. Il y a eu du suspense du début à la fin, on est sur une Happy End :)

Героя викидає в теперішній час, а тут ще з першого тома на нього поліція полює. І маньяк хоче дуже підставити. По суті, це і є весь сюжет цієї частини. І ще додатковий персонаж з’являється, який підкидає інфи. Ой, як зручно! Але накину бал зверху все ж таки - бо атмосферу таки ніхто нікуди не продав, ой-вей.

Este manga es genial, es muy atrapante y los personajes están muy bien definidos... Me gusta como va desarrollando la historia de cada uno a medida que cuenta la historia, está todo muy bien integrado. y tiene momentos muy profundos, que muestran relaciones interesantes y realistas.

La realidad es que yo ya vi el anime, por ende ya se todo lo que pasa (a menos que haya un cambio drástico entre manga/anime).
Igual... el autor escribe la historia de una manera tan dinámica y atrapante que hasta me deja pensando "quién será?" y ansiosa por leer más.

Wieder zurück in der Gegenwart - absolut notwendig, um die Geschichte weiterzuverfolgen.

Un excellent troisième tome, j'aime vraiment le côté thriller mélangé avec le fantastique de ce manga. D'ailleurs le l'ambiance thriller était encore plus présente dans ce tome. Heureusement que j'ai le tome suivant sous la main car c'est totalement addictif comme histoire.

このシリーズの一点が分からない。このシリーズの真犯人はいつも別のにせ犯人をたてると警察をごまかせる。警察はそんなにバカなのかな？例え悟を容疑者をさせるために悟を外に誘惑してた。でも悟はナイフを触れなかった。警察はそんな基本の証拠を無視しないでしょう？と悟の証言もアイリの証言も同意するから陪審が疑問を感じさせて全会一致の判断をさせない。日本の裁判所はそんなに違うの？なんで皆は警察から逃げるんだ？
