As far as beginning reader books go, these two Xóchitl books are great. The glossary in the back is more comprehensive than most. The story flowed well…though at times was abrupt (on account of the limited vocabulary).

I have to read this book with my students, but I found a lot of grammar mistakes. And the story in some point steel rushed and chopped. Not a bad book though.
