Boy is a story about a few weeks in the lives of Hugh and Betty Roberts, an elderly couple living alone on a family farm in Iowa. They are buried deep in grief over the loss of their only child and struggling to hang onto the only life they have ever known when Dementia sneaks in. Beautifully written

The author captured the warmth and depth of characters. I am personally dealing with a dear friend who has dementia. This really hit home with me. Very well written. Thank you Anna.

Boy

I loved this! I’m not sure, unless you live in my small town, that the characters in this book will mean the same to you or not but I feel that I know each and everyone of them personally! I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I was sad and angry, I was elated and joyous! Anna I couldn’t put it down I was so engrossed in the lives of Hugh and Betty! Bravo!!! Kudos!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I really enjoyed the book as a whole. The story was fun and while it wasn’t the greatest writing no one can expect it to be. I really enjoyed reading it. But I want to see thanksgiving!
