Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
4.5 stars - Oh, this one definitely lived up to its name. Who's sweet and who's filthy switches multiple times creating a super hot and fun read. Millie and Moxon's story was a perfect quick read. I read this as part of the Malone Brothers box set.
I always seek out Frankie Love books because they're sweet and different, plus well-written. This book was different from her usual books. It was just like the usual garbage I expect from a lot of the current romance authors with a manwhore main character. This is not normal for Frankie Love books, and I'm extremely disappointed. Who is going to feel special after knowing her man has been with so many women, especially having to be exposed to those women? It's disgusting, and the whole reformed manwhore thing is so so tired. It's way overdone. I was really looking forward to this book, and I'm just so disappointed.
Definitely not my favourite Frankie Love story but not too bad. I didn't like how big of a manwhore Moxon was. He literally had sex with someone the night before the slept with the h. That is definitely not my cup of tea and he had way too many women texting him for booty calls right in front of Millie. I did like how he cleaned up his act the moment he met Millie. This book is definitely Insta lust/love. While it wasn't my favourite I do look forward to her next book!
This is just a perfect mix of all you can want from a Frankie Love book.
Millie is having car trouble and starting to despair that she will ever get to Fed-Ex on time with her latest designs. When Moxon pulls up in his truck, hes a confident cocky car mechanic who is definitely a manwhore of the first order. Its an innocent encounter that leads to so much more. Ait may look like he isn’t very respectful of women at first but you see how he changes after his encounter with Mille.
If you are looking for a quick, filthy kindle melting read that has all the things that you expect when reading Frankie Love then this short story will not disappoint. This couple is adorable, hot and sweet and I for one cannot wait for more of the Malone brothers.
Filthy Sweet by Frankie Love Filthy sweet is just that the best combination of a great story. Without giving much away Millie is having car trouble and this isn't the first time her car failed her. What she didn't know is that her car failing her leads to the love of her life Moxon. Ohh Wee Moxon dirty mouth has you wanting more, he helps Millie out with car trouble since he is a mechanic. An innocent encounter leads both of them doing things they never expected. Moxon is a player but meeting Millie changes his perspective and knows he will do everything to make her his. I had a gasping moment at the restaurant and thought oh snap things are gonna go bad but I recover quickly when Moxon meets Millie on the side of the road. This novella might have been short but we get everything we love from Frankie's men. I'm a sucker for sweet short stories that give us HEA. Sweet and very filthy just how we like our alpha males.
I volunteer to read this story for my honest opinion.
I give this book 4 stars. The storyline between Mille and Moxon was a good read. Mille is having car trouble and Moxon stopped to help her. They both feel the chemistry between them. He Is a Mechanic and make holiday cards. I recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I expected a raunchy insta-love romp between a randy mechanic and an innocent woman, but the author turned my expectations 90 degrees. The story delivered on the Filthy, and provided way more Sweet than I anticipated.
If you’re looking for a quick lovable romance, this is the book for you. Great storyline and characters, and loved how corny it was. Great for Valentine’s Day!
Moxon meets Millie on the side of the road, when her car breaks down. He’s a mechanic, she’s a classy art illustrated, different as night and day. Neither’s paths would ever have crossed if not for Fate and some timely car trouble.
Moxon is a confirmed bachelor, his phone constantly lighting up with calls and messages from past one night stands hoping for a repeat. He’s never seen that as an issue until he’s completely floored by Millie. Being with her is a completely new experience for him but getting her to admit the same it a trickier obstacle that has him pulling in the stops to prove himself.
Millie’s only ever been with one guy, her college boyfriend. Being with Moxon is exciting and feeds into her secret fantasies, but as a one night stand only, right? She’s a level headed girl and has never been known for betting against those kinds of odds. But Moxon’s determined to show her he’s ready to settle down and that she’s the only one he wants to commit to.
Moxon and Millie’s story is a quick one sided insta-love story where the man hoe Hero has to prove he is more than his playboy reputation. Millie holds out with little angst. They both like each other but Millie needs more reassurance that Moxon is worth the risk to her heart. This was safe read with no cheating.
Moxon wasn't my favorite type of hero but he redeemed himself for his girl and Millie was able to look past his player persona to the real man, so it all ended well :)
Favorite Moments/Quotes: Moxon’s plans to give Millie the perfect Valentine’s Day date was cute. I also liked his proposal, it was funny and sweet, showing he was more than his player past, at least when it came to Millie.
This is book number 1 in The Malone Brothers series and is about Moxon and Millie. Millie has been having car troubles and ends up breaking down on the side of the road and she has no cell reception. Moxon is a mechanic who sees her while she's broken down. He stops to help her out and starts hitting on her pretty hard but she keeps putting him in his place. While he is helping her out he gets quite a few texts from his hookups but ignores them because he is very much interested in Millie. Millie sees all the messages popping up and is able to see that he used to just hooking up with strangers. A part of her is curious as to what it would be like to just have one night of fun even though it is not what she wants long term. She wants stability and an honorable man to settle down with. Moxon is incredibly drawn to Millie and wants more than just one night with her. Millie is interested in a night of fun with Moxon but doesn't trust that he can actually offer her more than that due to his history clearly saying just that. Moxon is determined to do what he needs to do to prove to Millie that he can be the man she needs. He steps up and makes the changes needed. Overall, I really enjoyed this story.
I loved this read by Frankie. It was as sweet as candy with an insta love twist that sees two people coming together. Millie is her own boss of her own filthy sweet card company. You know one of those greeting card companies that do inappropriate but appropriate cards for every occasion. She breaks down on the side of the road and like any woman, me bore I knew a little car maintenance, gets out a big wrench to make it look like she knows what she is doing. Moxon is the mechanic who stops to help. He is what's called a manwhore and likes women......a lot.
He likes what he sees. So sets his mind on not continuing his ways, buys a house (from her dad no less) and starts to show her that he has the kind of dipstick she would like to look at. Lol. Yep there are all sorts of puns available in this book. She shows him the junk in her trunk ha ha ha I could go on all day. It was a great quick read that had me laughing in paces. A good one click if you want to know the ending. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an advanced reader copy
I love Frankie Love books. I have at least 20 of them that I've already read in a collection on my Kindle right now. Her books are usually naughty but sweet, and even though this book uses the words "filthy-sweet" a lot, it is anything but that. This is just my opinion.
Moxon and Millie meet when her little Beetle breaks down on the side of the rode. Moxon stops, and the banter between them is sexy and funny--at first. Then...Moxon gets Millie into his truck and his arrogance is too much. I like 'em cocky, but no woman at this point should be giving him the "time of day!" No matter how sexy he is!
The city or town where they live seem like a small one, so being the manwhore that he is, Moxon should have avoided taking Millie any place where he might run into one of his "conquests." Actually, that was easier said than done, because he's slept with the entire town it seems. Women were blowing up his phone and giving him the evil eye practically everywhere he and Millie went. Somehow Millie still wants him, but I would have run far, far away and no looking back. What happened to that feisty Millie in the beginning?! I really wanted to put my kindle down at this point, but my curiosity won over.
I did appreciate that Moxon accepted Millie for who she was, even if they've only known each other for a short time. He enjoys how passionate she is about her career, and admires her talent, so that's a plus for him. He even makes a change and becomes a different man after meeting her, but it just wasn't enough for this book to win me over. Sorry Ms. Love 😔
Filthy sweet is book one in the Malone brother’s series. This story is short, fast paced and an easy read. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. The chemistry between Moxen and Millie was instant. I really liked them together. Millie took no messing. She said what she wanted even if it offended Moxen a little. I liked that Millie knew that Moxen was a manwhore. She didn’t judge him for it and she didn’t resist a relationship with him because of it. I liked that Moxen fell for Millie quickly. He went from having one night stands with nearly every woman in town to wanting just Millie after just one date. I liked that as the story progressed, we get to see a softer side to the town playboy. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
I absolutely love Frankie Love's books and this is just another one I happily added to my collection. Moxon is an instant loveable character even though he is written as a manwhore. Millie is a spitfire and at the same time shy girl. They chance a meeting as she her beloved VW bug has broken down in a part a the countryside where she can't get cell reception and Moxon drives upon her. It's all fun after that. Can the self proclaimed manwhore find another one night stand or will he discover love with Millie? There's no long drawn out storyline to find out if Moxon and Millie can make a relationship out of their side of the road meeting which is one reason why I love Frankie Love's books. I highly recommend this book. This review is unbiased and my own after I purchased this book from Amazon.
Oh, swoon! This book was a great balance of filthy and sweet- it was a delightful treat.
Millie has two sides to her- she's smart and successful and pulled together, but she also is dirty and quippy and I just really like her. Moxon (I have no idea how to pronounce that) has gotten around a LOT. But that's really the only negative mark against him. He's a good guy who just hadn't found the right one yet. It's so cool to see how far he will go for love.
I highlighted a lot in here, so many good lines. Also, these two were just fated to be together, too many coincidences. Adorable, oh and hot, too! I'm excited to see this labeled Mallone Brothers book one, because I want to hear his brother's story. Bring it on!
Frankie Love brings us another great insta-love story with Filthy Sweet, the first book about the Malone Brothers. I loved this story. In typical Frankie Love fashion she gives us great characters, sweet romance, steamy chemistry and witty banter. Frankie always writes quick fun stories that allow her readers to lose themselves in the fantasy of love at first sight/insta-love with characters that readers will love. Moxon and Millie are a perfect couple and I loved their story. I think what keeps me coming back is how Frankie writes stories about men who want to become better for the woman they love, while keeping the bad boy the readers love.
I read an advanced reader copy of this book which was provided to me by the author.
Filthy Sweet Millie's VW Bug dies on the side of the road. She is rescued by Moxon a local mechanic. He is instantly smitten and asks her out to dinner. The entire time they are together his phone is blowing up with texts from other women. They end up hooking up in an abandoned parking lot before he takes her home. After talking about her ideal man, he decides to change to be that man. For Valentine's Day he invited her to a fancy restaurant but she is a no show, her car broke down again. He rescues her and shortly after she moved in with him and they get their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I fell in love with Moxon. He found the one in Millie and wanted to do everything he could to be the man she deserved. Millie was the sweet to his filthy although they flipped the switch sometimes and she was the filthy to his sweet. Who knew a car breaking down would bring these two soul mates together? And the car was a big piece to the puzzle. They had some very hot moments together and it was refreshing that Millie wasn't a virgin and knew what she wanted. Moxon loved it as well. If you're looking for a quick, filthy-sweet read then pick this up! It definitely hits the spot. I highly recommend it!
Moxon, a sexy beast of a mechanic with player tendencies has met his match when he pulls over to see if he can assist the feisty women holding a wrench under the hood of her powder blue VW Beetle- Millie. Ready to fix more than whats under the hood of her VW- One hot night, things change, but for who? A Passion, Sweetness, Humor filled story that will overheat your engines and raise your thermostats! Another yummy fantasy novella from Frankie Love~ Who takes the power of a quickie to new levels!!
Moxon and Millie are the perfect combination of filthy and sweet. He's her filth and she's his sweet and they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Their story is so good you can't but help swoon away whilst reading this novella. Mox is a player and Millie is a sassy spitfire who knows what she wants. She's Miss Independent and he's more than happy for her to take the plunge and become his everything. Even their pets names fit together perfectly,it's a sign of fate. This is a novella that you will want in your kindle collection asap.
Characters = 4/5 Plot = 4/5 Romance = 5/5 Mystery = 1/5 Action = 1/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 3/5 Stars = 4 ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Would I recommend this book = Yes Would I read future books by this author = Yes
Plot was okay, characters were likeable, funny, instalove and filthy sweet make this short story complete. I fell in love with Moxon and Millie right off the bat. Cocky mechanic with the good girl wanting a taste of the bad side. I just wish their story was longer. Oh and it was definitely sizzling!
Exactly like the title of this book it was a filthy and sweet read. I liked that Millie accepted Moxon for what he was and didn't give him grief about it. He was a flat out man ho with a capital M! More power to her cause I would've had a hard time being okay with it. I thought it was extremely sweet how Moxon knew she was different right away and wanted to change to be a better man for her and man did he pull out all the stops!!
DNF: I feel bad for rating this when I didn’t make it even a chapter but I don’t want to accidentally pick it up again in the future. The guys a cocky man-whore. I don’t mind a reformed man-whore if he’s been reformed for a while but I have no interest in one that in the first paragraph has half a dozen women texting him for sex including the one he slept with less than 24 hours ago. Yuck. On to the next one.
Nothing like a hot guy coming to the aid of a beautiful woman with a broken down car. But in the story of Millie and Moxon, there is more to the relationship than just hot sex. Wanting to be your best for the people you love is what Moxon feels to change from a manwhore to someone Millie can have a HEA with. Frankie Love once again does not disappoint.
This Book is A Perfect Combination of Filthy, Sweet, Sexy, Alpha Goodness all wrapped in One. I Finished reading this book in One Sitting. I was Hooked reading it.
Frankie Love another stunning story Filthy Sweet is Something which all Readers would love to read. I Cannot Recommend this Book Enough.
