Perfect Protectors
FBI, bodyguards, firemen, oh my! Every pairing in this collection finds two beautiful men, each struggling to find someone they can match wits and meld with, but settling for brief, unsatisfying encounters until chance puts them together with their one. Challenged by circumstance and intrigued by the magnetic pull, it sometimes takes a lot more for them to finally connect, but the ensuing inferno was well worth the wait.

I read all 4 stories, barely. These stories just don't come across as realistic. I know that the author is supposed to be a man, but the characters all seem like "chicks with dicks". They aren't like any of the gay men that I know. It was easy to skip pages when the "romance " got tedious, and all 4 stories were that way.
I suppose this author has a specific audience that she panders to and that fanbase seems to be women. The high ratings all seem to come from women. I found these stories unrealistic and tedious and don't recommend them.

Awesome series. Four books (Cover Me, First Down, Eagle Grip, Fire Flow) each story and characters are different but still have the amazing Max Walker touch you've come to love. Each character felt complete and independent but put the two together and it's even better. Chemistry, mystery and action, romance and so much more. Can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

Action, passion and romance equal an unbeatable combination! This is an amazing series that you will want to have on your kindle for hours of enjoyable and engaging reading!

These four books are so enjoyable... delightful characters that you'd love to meet, some decidedly steamy romantic scenes and clever plots that have you turning the pages. Superb entertainment!

all four books were great, i love fbi, bodyguards, athletic men! oh and don't forget FIREMEN! omg there is something for everyone in this book set. i would def recommend it!

I loved these 4 mini stories and thoroughly enjoyed how the author tied the stories together. I’d have to say the Colton/Mason mini-story was the one that made me laugh and cry the most.
