About the author

GM Stephenson was born in Trenton, Michigan. She wrote her first book at seven years old. It was about a cat and was illustrated by GM. Many years later she decided to stop writing short stories, poetry, and journals that would remain hidden and set out to publish her first novel.

GM has been married for 28 years and has a 26-year-old daughter. She lives in Kentucky with her gentleman farmer husband and a troop of Great Danes. She spends as little time in the real world as possible, choosing instead to live in the worlds she creates.

I fell in love with Dani and Zane from the very beginning. Dani, a shy, driven young lady with a passion for baking. Zane, naturally protective owner of a security firm. This book will have you laughing, crying and falling in love. I pray we get to see more of them and their friends!

This is an amazing debut novel. I loved the way that Dani and Zane meet, and the relationship between them is so real. He is a sexy, sweet, determined, and ambitious male that knows a good thing when he sees one, but will she let him win? The setting of this story was fascinating from the beginning and so unique. There are some parts in this book that made me laugh out loud, yell, want to kill someone (read it and you will know who) and sit up straighter in shock. Simply fantastic and must read!

Cute

When I was growing up my grandmother and I called books like this mind candy. Just enough action, just enough sex and a guarantee that they will live happily ever after. Looking forward to more of Zane, Dani and their friends and family

I almost DNF'ed at the first sex scene because it was just so...bad. I can't decide if that is because the author is new, she's never had sex herself (which is totally cool; nothing wrong with that) or the sex she has had was terrible.

I kept reading though, despite the terrible sex scenes, the superficial character and relationship building, and the structural errors. Why? Because the story had potential. I kept hoping it would get better. It didn't; not really.

My overall impression is the author created an amalgamin of her favorite characters, scenes, ect. & put them in her own story. That's fine. It's how we learn. I just think this author needs more time and a really good copy editor before I'd try any more of her work.

I loved this story! It's both sweet AND sexy. The banter was so witty and delightful, I found myself giggling several times. Dani is a hoot! And Zane is so sweet and so ALPHA, you can't help but want one for yourself.

I also found her secondary characters to be interesting, and I hope they get stories, as well. And, of course, now I want a ferret!

I look forward to more from this author!

Feel good romance with a hint of spice. A great palette cleanser if you read hard core smut and want a Rom- Com with a little action. Also who would not want vicariously live life in a hotel in Vegas and own a ferret!

Since I wrote it I guess you'd expect I'd love it, and I do. Still, everyone knows you're harder on your own work than someone else's. Treat Me Sweet is the culmination of a life-long dream for me. I loved writing it and I hope everyone loves reading it. I promise to get better with every book I write. Please enjoy the story of a woman and a man building a life together through the bumps and bruises that come with relationships.
