Ty Gibson has done it again. A rare blend of smart and heart, An Endless Falling in Love is both an intellectual and an emotional journey into the character of God and the gift of eternity. Beyond the cliches about harps, clouds, gold streets, and gates of pearl, Gibson shows eternal life to be an ever-deepening free-fall into friendship-love with God. Against this backdrop, the doctrines of the Trinity, Creation, the Fall, the Incarnation, the Cross, and other crucial Bible truths take on a beauty and lushness that will forever alter your views about salvation.
There are a lot of light 'n' fluffy devotional-type books occupying space in the "inspirational" section of our local bookstores these days. This isn't one of them.
Reading this book is like receiving an intimate, guided tour through the heart of God. What unfolds, page after page, is a deeply theological, biblically-based look at a God who is desperately pursuing us, both motivated AND restrained by His passionate love for us.
I was gripped by the depth and beauty of this book. The concepts are profound, yet easy to understand. Ty Gibson has a gift that enables him to present Scripture most of us have read a thousand times, yet unveil another layer of understanding so it feels like we're reading it for the first time. The pictures of God that emerge are stunning and moving.
I wholeheartedly recommend An Endless Falling in Love. This book is for people who would like to know God, and for people who think they already do. Take another look. Prepare to be enraptured.
This is an excellent read for anyone looking to understand what salvation and eternal life really are from God’s point of view. Ty expertly conceptualizes, describes, and supports his position in this book with his vivid imagination, his clear language, and his ample references. As always, Ty’s logic is unassailable and his emotional connections are attractive. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand abs love the God of the Universe better.
I'm weird, so take that into account. I didn't like the font or the lightness of the font. Otherwise, the words of this book are good and worthy of reading.
I've read this book twice now, and I can't but highly recommend it! Ty Gibson has a way of weaving together words to bring out the truths of the Bible in a refreshing and deep way. In this book, he highlights important biblical doctrines in the light of God's infinite love, leading the reader to seek God on a deeper level. If you've found yourself in a dry spell with your spiritual life, this book will be like water to refresh your soul.
My mentor gave me this book to read. One chapter described how God felt about sin by comparing it to a lover being betrayed by his love. That really hit home. I had not until then been able to grasp how sin hurts God.
I was given this book at the same time the Pastor gave me See With New Eyes. This was definitely helped me to see the Father in a new better and different light then when I was seeing him and to help me continue to see him as I went through a rough patch in my life. Awesome book as well.
