This informational text book is a leveled reader about lizards. In this book, it talks about all the characteristics of lizards and how each adapts to the places where it lives. This is a great book to teach students about lizards, while also introducing informational text features. There are no illustrations in this book, but rather photographs that show lizards in their environment. The writing in this book is simple to read and follow along with. Overall I would recommend this book to teach about lizards as well as to introduce informational text.

awesome book on lizards, its a fast read & interactive so the little reader can put their knowledge to the test! The images are excellent. Great book for preschool-4th grade. This is the exact type of nonfiction book I’d recommend for new readers.

There are little boxes with "tail terms" - these are definitions of terms the reader doesn't know. And several of the pages have riddles about lizards - kids will love them.

The amount of info giving in easy bites will give youngsters an appetite to learn more.
