Sinclair Wilde is just your average cowboy bear shifter who takes care of his family and their Rough Mountain ranch.
When the reclusive next door neighbor dies, his oddball last will and testament opens the door to game hunters. If there’s one thing that should unite the ornery shifter species of the region, it’s city folk roaming the mountains with high powered rifles.
Then along comes Fallon White. She has a cat named Butterscotch and legs for miles. Not only does her arrival on the mountain have the potential to save his family's way of life, Sin’s monster likes her … a lot.
Fallon is a heart-weary witch looking for a soft place to land. Sin’s seductive aura and the wide open spaces of her late uncle’s property are just what her psyche needs. But when her mother's heartbreaking story is revealed, Fallon knows she can't let it happen again. Not ever.
These mountains harbor more than shifters. The secrets here are deep and dark … one of them so deadly it’s enough to make a witch run, and send your average cowboy bear shifter to the edge of madness.
Due to vivid love scenes and mature language, Rough Mountain Bears novels are intended for ages 18+.
This is the first time reading this author. I really like Fallon and Sin’s story. They are great for each other but when Fallon’s mom tells her a story about her past. In order for Fallon to reclaim Crowe Ranch certain things have to happen. I can’t wait for the second book. The only thing that bug me was the ending even though you offered a bonus chapter. I’m going to have to check out her other books.
This is my first read by this author but just saying I'm an instant fan. I went into this book thinking it was going to be another quick stinking hot shifter read which dont get me wrong it totally was. But it was so much more than that! The suspense was there, the drama was there and they grab onto you just as much as the hot and heavy stuff does. Looking forward to the next in this series and I am definitely going to be checking out more of this authors previous work.
Fallon, hiding from her life and wanting something new, moved to get family ranch in Colorado where she meets sexy cowboy shifter Sin. Now she has a choice to make: stay and make a new life of go back to her modeling career. What will she choose?
Wow what a thrill. I want more of Rough Mountain as soon as possible. Who are the mystery beings and who is the crow? Will Fallon change her mind? Will Sin win?
I would really love to know what and who DeSoto is. I wonder if the crow that was packing the business card is also a shifter. I'm intrigued and I'm on to the next book.
Hot As Sin! This is not your usual shifter book and Sin Wilde is anything but a typical shifter. As a sexy, cowboy bear shifter, Sin Wilde would make any girl weak in the knees. But will his rugged good looks be able to catch the eye of a supermodel?
Fallon "Roni" White is well known in the modeling industry but lucky for her she's less well known in a sleepy town in the middle of Colorado. When Fallon's uncle dies and she takes ownership of his ranch, it's the perfect excuse for her to start over. But what Fallon doesn't realize is that she's landed herself in a town full of shifters who don't necessarily want her there attracting attention to their secret. But Fallon comes with a secret of her own that may just surprise everyone.
I loved the instant attraction and heat between Sin and Fallon. While this book ends with a HEA I know there's got to be more in store for these two and I can't wait to read it.
