Use or be used —that’s the motto that’s made me a fortune, but all my money can’t stop the illness devastating my mother. To add insult to injury, her heavenly new nurse is the prom date who put me through hell. Only now, Serena Rossi is a little older, a little blonder, and a lot more dangerous. I'm a self-made man, but she'll be the unmaking of me.
Karma’s a bitch, but back then so was I. Now the homecoming of Marcus Blake has me checking my vitals, and we could have a second chance at first love—or at least a first chance at second lust. But if I want to keep my heart safe, I’d better tell him to go help himself .

Help Yourself is the third book in the Billionaire Book Club series. It is a second chance romance between Marcus & Serena. Serena was one of the popular kids in high school, being on the cheerleader squad & having all the right friends. Marcus was the shy, bookish boy who kept to himself & excelled at school. The two become good friends during English literature class & made plans to go to prom together. What happened after the prom became Marcus' worst nightmare & he blamed Serena for what had happened. Ten years later, Marcus has become one of the countries most successful self help author/speakers & Serena is now a nurse. When they run into one another again, the attraction that had been between them in high school is still there. But will Marcus be able to forgive Serena for what happened 10 years ago?

This is a charming romantic comedy about learning to forgive. I'm a huge fan of Nikky Kaye's writing & enjoy her ability to write fun sexy stories that are easy reads.

Help Yourself by Nikky Kaye a five-star read that you definitely need a free hand for. This is the third book in the Billionaire Book Club series but they are all stand alone, I plan to go back and read the first two as I loved this story so much. There was a real and sweet story that went underneath the main plot. First love is a powerful thing, being betrayed by that love is a bigger pain that most realise. Will Marcus be able to put that aside, or will Serena never get a chance to redo her prom.
Thank you Nikky for being an amazing writer, and not hurting any billionaires or books during the making of this series.

Even though I haven't read the other two books in this series, I absolutely will be remedying that failure on my part. This was a fun read that captivated my attention from start to finish.

The characters of Marcus and Serena could not have worked more perfect together. As teenagers we all make bad decisions which affect others and even us as adults. With this in mind the story brought up past memories that I hate to admit I remember well and some to this day that can be hurtful. Even though Serena herself did not commit the hurtful acts, she stood by and allowed a true friendship to slip through her fingers. Yet, ten years later the past comes back to haunt both characters. The question is can they get through and forgive and forget the past to move on to what can be a promising future? Well, you must read it to see and experience all the emotions that the talented Nikky Kaye has excelled in articulating. A very enjoyable book that she has managed to keep a bit of her humor in. I love this author and look forward to so much more and can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone. Marcus is a billionaire who made his fortune writing self help books and speaking as a motivational speaker. Once a month he leaves the city and doesn't tell the other members of the book club where he goes, leading to them guessing. Marcus goes to see his mother who is a nursing home and suffers from dementia. When his mother is going to receive an award for her years of teaching, Marcus is going to accept on her behalf at a school reunion. Marcus goes to see his mother only to find her new nurse is Serena, his former friend from high school and his prom date. Serena moved back to town after her parents died and is working at the nursing home until she decides what to do. Serena knows Marcus hates her for an incident that happened in the past and she really wants him to forgive her. Marcus hates that he is still attracted to Serena and he doesn't want to fight it. I really liked this story about a second chance love and forgiveness. Well done.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

A very funny, sizzling second chance romance that made me giggle and sigh and sure made me love Nikky Kaye even more! These Billionaire Book Club stories have been a hoot to read. But they also have a surprising amount of heart that makes them more special. Help Yourself is adorable and entertaining. Their was lots of zaps of electricity with chemistry and the story itself was easy to follow and just entertaining.

I really liked Marcus and Serena. These two had a lot of history together. And it wasn't all great. But who they turned out to be as adults really made me LOVE both of them. The sex is OFF THE CHARTS STEAMY and the romance zings and sizzles and there was plenty of times where I couldn't stop smiling. It was just a good mix of heat, heart, and fun!

Help Yourself gets a SWEET AND SASSY AND OH SO MUCH FUN FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

Help Yourself is a fairly quick read that packs a lot of punch without sacrificing the story or character development. This is the third book in the Billionaire Book Club Series, and focuses on Marcus and Serena. This is their second chance after a ridiculously dramatic end to this in high school. Nikky Kaye does a great job packing a great story, lots of feels, steamy scenes and fun characters into a lower word count. I loved this book and even got a little misty eyed over Mrs.Blake, since that hit a little close to home. I definitely recommend this, and though it is a standalone, the rest of the series is absolutely worth reading as well. I for one can't wait to read Viktor and Silas' stories next.

Overall a good book, a bit of a stepdown from the 2nd in terms of quality, but still a good read.

I liked the uncompromising nature of Marcus and understanding, a bit broken, but still likeable/lovable Serena.
I think this book missed an ending there, because logistically their relationship can't work as it ended. There needs to be changes in their lives to accommodate the other person. So for the second time I have to remark that this doesn't feel like a standalone, it needs to be read as a series.

Then the other bit that was neither here nor there. It was Marcus whiplashing from revenge to forgiveness, on one hand it's a positive outlook and a healthy mindset, but on the other hand - I don't think most people could do that, so that was a bit unrealistic.

A second chance romance that is a roller coaster of emotions. You'll laugh and you'll cry, so grab a hanky now. This is the third book in the Billionaire Book Club. This is a second chance romance between Serena and Marcus who were high school sweethearts and haven't seen each other for ten years. There was friction between them as he felt she betrayed him. They're thrown back together as she is the nursing home nurse caring for his mother. Lots of drama, forgiveness, understanding and a new future. Their chemistry was amazing and the story sweet. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. A good quick read with fun characters.

Marcus goes to see his mothr who is loosing her memory. When he arrives in her institution, he finds out taht one of the nurse is his highscholl’s ex girlfriend. He thinks she betrayed him ten years ago in a Carry’s StephenKing’s style, without the blood, but with the humiliation.
The story is about their second chance. I’m not in second chance story usually, but I apreciated this one. It’s well written, with great explanations about their feelings, the characters are not plain.

This is a bittersweet, second chance romance that both made me laugh, and brought me to tears.

Marcus and Serena share a history, one that ended badly in High School. Now though, they've grown up, and both want a second chance.

The story is not only a romance, it also touches on something that we see every day on social media, how some people never get beyond the High School mentality, and they act/react as they did when they were teenagers.

It also touches on early onset dementia, which it deals with sympathetically.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Second chance romance at its best. Marcus has not spoken to Serena since the cool kids showed their prom night sex tape to the entire school. But when the millionaire comes home to attend his high school reunion the two reunite and sparks fly. Will Marcus forgive her for the past or will he walk away? With great characters and a storyline that was heartwarming this is a book that should not be missed.

I was not a fan of this book and I’m sorry to say that because this writer is capable of so much more. This book felt like so much like parts of other books I’ve read before beginning with the billionaire boys club to the girl does boy wrong to the scandalous tape. It just felt wrong to me and choppy in the romantic scenes. I’m sorry. Read at your own risk. I’m still a NK fan and will be on the lookout for more of her stuff and hope for the best!

I really enjoyed this novella by Nikky Kaye. Despite the fact that it's relatively short, Help Yourself has plenty of depth of plot and character and loads of chemistry between Serena and Marcus. There's just the right balance of emotion, humor and steamy love scenes. I love the interactions among the men in the Billionaire Book club and look forward to more of their stories.

I loved this second chance romance novella.
It was nice to see Marcus Blake and Serena Rossi get their chance at happiness after a horrid misunderstanding 10 years prior.
High school can be brutal and they both definitely pages the price.
This story had me hooked and I'm absolutely loving this series.
I can't wait for Viktor and Silas's stories.

Talk about chemistry off the charts. This read is hot. A rollercoaster ride with a full range of emotions that will keep you captivated from the very beginning. Scenes so real you'll swear you're intruding on their intimacy. Don't forget the tissue. Great job Nikki.

Made me laugh and made cry. Nikky Kaye writes a sensitive romance which finds Serena, the cheerleader who lacks the confidence to stand up for what she feels is right and Marcus the quiet nerdy kid whose mum is a teacher. A prank at the high school prom divides the Serena and Marcus leaving bitterness in its wake.

Homecoming finds Marcus and Serena facing their insecurities and hurt from the past as the try to build their relationship in the present.

Nikky deals with a lot of different issues in this novella including bullying, peer pressure and the on set of dementia. She brings her characters to life on every page. These are characters and issues everyone can relate to.

Well written and subject matter of dementia handled extremely sensitively and honestly.

Hot, funny, sad and (sigh) romantic

An all round great book that you will want to read in one sitting if you can. Within lies plenty of the trademark Nikky Kaye humour that makes you simultaneously laugh out loud and flinch. Yes, she really does go there! I loved the character development as well as how real Marcus, Serena and their supporting cast came across. It really added to the emotional impact of the story and drew me in so much that I shed a tear a couple of times. The sexy times were hot, romantic and fun - my favourite style and I loved the HEA. Here's looking forward very much to the next book in the series.

Help Yourself
Billionaires Book Club 3

🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love 2nd chance stories, and this book gets a tick for more than just that. It's quick, so perfect for a Sunday afternoon summer read. Serena and Marcus share a cruel past, one that birth would prefer to forget. He is now a billionaire and Author/ motivational speaker for self Help. But his mother, whom was an English/ literature teacher is now in a home suffering from dementia. So when he visits her he cones face to face with his past. Serena Rossi, was his high school love and the reason his prom went to he’ll.

Serena can't believe Mrs Blake is in her care, that means coming face to face with Marcus is a reality, something she won't be able to avoid forever. She never imagined the hate he so has toward her 10 years on. Sadly her body reacts differently. She knows she was wrong about what played out at school and will always be sorry for it, but this might just be he 2nd chance. Moving forward is one thing, trust is another.....

Both Marcus and Serena will have to leave the past behind to move forward.... Trust will be everything. One that will test both.

I really enjoyed this book. It's a short story but it hits all the major needs of a story. Funny, sad, spicy. A good reminder things are not always as they seem. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and look at the whole picture. Its Worth taking a ride thru Selena and Marcus second chance at romance can they learn to trust themselves to forgive and find the truth
