One conversation could have fixed this. I hate lack of communication and assumptions. Too many stories lately have the same theme. Doormat h to boot. Why is she taking all the blame? Why was he blaming the managers daughter for his lack of communication? He even admitted to being “too busy” and being selfish.
He could have picked up the phone numerous times also. Both are idiots. He turned into a hoe and she turned into a hermit. One fucking call from either and the misunderstanding would be cleared up. Plus the whole watching him fuck the OW was creepy and the reason was idiotic. I totally feel no sympathy for that bullshit.

A second chance with a cowboy… oh baby…
Not one but two of my favourite things in this new series – cowboys and a second chance! Mo and Rhett had history that left them any but friends or lovers. Life is anything but easy and best laid plans rarely go as, well, planned. Rhett followed his dream but Mo ran into obstacles she couldn’t get around. When Rhett is injured and comes home to recuperate, their reunion is full of anger and bitterness but still love…

This book title summed up the relationship between Mo and Rhett perfectly. Love is a mix of so many emotions and crazy, sexy are definitely at the top of the list. When your heart is involved everything is brighter, darker and more fragile and Mo and Rhett navigated it all. Rhett is why I love cowboys – a man with strong hands and a loyal heart. Mo is his counterpart with heart and strength to match. Misunderstandings, secrets – they were all going to come out in a last ditch chance effort that I wanted these lovers to win….
“A tiny sliver of my heart had hoped he’d grant me forgiveness….”
These two had to work at it every hard-won step forward even as the steps back kept mounting. The back and forth was just right though as anger and love eventually balanced out… A great first book in the series – can’t wait for the next one! ~Diane, 4 stars

This book is intended to be light reading. Light meaning a quick read on the beach, quick reading while waiting in line or waiting for your doctor to come.
With that in mind, this book is OK to my taste. There is not drama/plot/ angst. There is also no deep/ serious character development. The supporting characters also not contributing anything. The steamy scenes is also moderate/ luke warm. Not erotic.

This second chance romance follows Rhett, who is a bull rider, and Mo, who never left the small town of Heaven due to unplanned extraneous circumstances. A lie and a misunderstanding broke this couple up, though they never got over each other. When the truth comes out, can the past remain in the past?
I never truly got into the book. I liked Rhett’s character for the majority of the book, though I found him to be petty and cold in the way that he handled Mo’s apology and explanation of what truly transpired six years ago. I didn’t connect with Mo, who had stayed home to take care of her father (who had a stroke) and his animal shelter. She was a martyr type of a character, and I just couldn’t feel for her as she refused to accept help that would better her situation.
The supporting characters were my favorite part of the book. These individuals, the intimate scenes, and the glimpses inside of Rhett’s head, where the reader saw what he was thinking (really making me feel like I was there) bump this from a 2 star to a 3 star. The writing and flow were good, but IMHO the story felt formulaic. If you enjoy both second chance romances and cowboy/small town books, this is likely up your alley.

4.5 stars! I don’t read a ton of cowboy type books but I will read anything KL Grayson writes. This sexy bull rider hero made me swoon and oh my heart!

This was a nice sweet romance. Mo and Rhett had a falling out over some issues that neither seems too keen to talk about with others but when he comes back to town after an injury they are forced to work through those issues. I liked Mo but I just kind of felt sorry for her. I hate that authors write heroines like Mo. I mean she was tough and also very giving and it was good that she came home to help her dad but its ok to ask for help when you need it. There is no need to act like a martyr when you have people willing to help you. I think if she talked to her dad sooner she could have followed her dreams and still came back to Heaven to take over his practice. I liked Rhett well enough too but I felt he overacted about the issued with Mo. I just didn't like that whole conflict in this story. Overall I did like them together and I did like the conflict and resolution to the other issue in the story. They really were made for each other. I was a really big fan of second chance romances but this one seemed to hit all of the things that I don't like about them. I mean you can pine for an old love and still move on but Mo just became a workaholic while Rhett lived his life to the fullest. I just kind of hate that double standard with these types of books and it knocked some points of for me personally in liking this one. Overall it was a good book and I think many readers would enjoy it.

Great second chance romance. Rhett and Monroe are torn apart by lies and bad decisions. 6 years later injuries push them back into each other's lives. Sparks fly, truths are uncovered but can past hurt be forgiven. Easy, fun read.

Crazy, Sexy Love is a cute sexy tale of second chances, new dreams, and a love that never fades. I’m a sucker for these kind of tales, and this story was no different, pulled me right in and got me to cheer for Rhett & Mo’s happily ever after. The thing with it was that after the climax, no pun intended, it was hard for me to focus on the rest of it. It was cute, but I was looking for a tad bit more. This was a case of me vs. book. Give it a go for some sweetness and southern heat.

I will be the first to admit, I was skeptical! Cowboys? Rodeo? Pass...but when KL Grayson sent me a copy to read, I found myself absolutely consuming Crazy Sexy Love. Rhett was NOT your ordinary hero. He was kind, and sensitive, and dear GOD, swoonworthy! And Monroe, I LOVED her! She was strong, and feisty...and determined. This was the perfect combination of everything a romance should have. Angst, drama, sweet, soul-crushing romance! It was perfection!

From the first page to the last, I absolutely loved this book and can't even pin point exactly why. Rhett and Monroe's story isn't so different, or outrageous from anything I've read before. I'm thinking because it was solid. K.L. Grayson kicked off her Dirty Dicks (hilarious by the way) series with a solid romance that ticked all of the boxes for me.
The blurb pretty much says it all. Rhett has left the small town of Heaven, made a huge name for himself, got injured and is now back. There was a reason he stayed away from the town, as well as his family for six years and her name is Monroe. It was a nice change of pace to have the guy reeling from a breakup instead of the girl. The one thing Rhett did, that a lot of these brokenhearted guys do that irritates me, is to try and fill the black hole she left by effing countless, faceless women. So dumb. I digress. Sexcapades not withstanding, I liked the guy and I liked Monroe for him. They just fit.
In the six years he's been gone, Mo hasn't had time to wallow in the pain of breaking up with Rhett. She's a busy girl, lots on her plate. Sure, she still keeps track of his every move, however let her life go on as best as she could with what she was dealing with. Monroe was no nonsense. Excellent quality in a female lead,
Now Rhett and Mo together, an absolute dream! Yes, they have tons to work out and he still has a career outside of Haven, plus other things trying to pull them apart, but damn it, these two were meant to be. For reals. And I was glued to every page waiting to see how that was going to happen.
The book is well written and contains everything you could want from a nice, long lost romance. Sure we get a lot of Rhett with his broken heart, but boy when he's all better, the sexy Rhett is something else! There's angst, family, friends and of course Simon, who is my true favorite and deserves his own book. With Tess, naturally. Actually, Mo's best friend Claire gets a turn next and you can bet I'll be waiting patiently for it. Especially if we get to peek in to see how Mo and Rhett are doing.

I fell hard and fast for this couple and could not wait to see how their story would play out. Mo and Rhett fell in love when they were young, invincible and had the world at their feet. However, mistakes and a major misunderstanding will put these two lovers on a path neither one of them ever dreamed of. It will be six years before these two will reunite and when they do…all bets are off. The hurt, pain and regret are still there, however, sparks haven’t faded. All those emotions and pent up feelings will take Mo and Rhett for the ride of their lives…

Well I think this book should be retitled as Damn Sexy Cowboy! Rhett Allen is sa-woooon! I really enjoyed this second chance romance. I loved Rhett and Mo. Mo is a selfless heroine that I loved almost immediately. I was happy for her to get her HEA! And while I did love Rhett there was a time or two that I wanted give him a good piece of my mind. But he redeemed himself and after wasting so many years gave Mo the future she deserved. If you like hot cowboys and sweet heroines this story is for you! Anxiously anticipating the next book in this series.

I really love second chance romances (especially childhood friends to lovers), but this one just didn't quite hook me the way that I'd hoped. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were fantastic however, and I loved all the emotion and feeling they put into these characters. The duet style was amazing, especially for the more heated scenes. Even though I had some issues with the decisions the characters made/were making, I couldn't wait to find out how Mo and Rhett's story was going to end. I also really loved Mo's relationship with her father and some of those scenes had me reaching for a tissue to dry my eyes.
I think the biggest issue for me, is that I found myself more frustrated and annoyed at Rhett and Mo for their lack of communication than in love with them. So much heartbreak could have been avoided with some honesty and a conversation. I understand that they were young and that young love is often all consuming and explosive, but I still found it hard to believe that they wouldn't have fought a little harder to at least have closure/tried to reach out to the other in the 6 years that they've been apart. I also had a hard time with Mo essentially groveling and begging for Rhett's forgiveness. Mistakes were made by both of them, but it was Rhett who got angry and acted like he was the only one who had been wronged. Add in the fact that Rhett enjoyed all the buckle bunnies he wanted while Mo abstained completely, and I just had a hard time believing in their love. I did like that as the story progressed, both characters grew and matured. Mo started thinking about her dreams and how to go after them, while Rhett stopped only thinking of himself/acting selfish. Overall, this was an enjoyable listen and I liked it enough to want to continue on with the series.

This is a second chance between Rhett and Monroe. They've been separated six years and anything surrounding the two of them still causes pain, angst, and a wide array of conflicting emotions. Rhett is injured and comes home to recover and everything from past to present hits full on between him and Monroe.
I will certainly say this one felt real. The author had an engaging style of writing and you couldn't look away from the two of them. I didn't think this one would hit so hard in the feels. It was a lot of angst, emotions, and frustration. And you find yourself rooting for the two of them together (and separately as they each need to actualize their personal dreams).
With that said, this often times for me lead towards the annoying kind of frustration. Their break up, time apart, and journey back together is littered with miscommunications and mistrust galore that seemed a little unnecessary and repetitive at times.
If you know me by now, any story that has me on a fence can you usually sway me with a satisfying epilogue. Especially after all the build up of them finally getting back together, I was hoping for a little glimpse into the future of their HEA.
Last by not least, I by no means have any safety reader triggers whatsoever. HOWEVER, there are plot devices and tropes, etc that often get used time and time again. One in particular for second chance romances. So sometimes it just gets tiresome to re-read similar themes often. The H is def not celibate. OW galore and even one instance immediately after the breakup is a situation that the h was aware about. Meanwhile, she never dated or got busy even once. I mean geez, get you some girl.
So yeah, I just get tired of reading the H that put his d**k in anything that moved for years and the h saved herself and she just accepts the fact there were a ton of women before her. AND he got annoyed when she felt any lingering jealousy issues about overzealous female fans, models, etc. Eyeroll.
I digress, I was still engaged with this read and did believe in the couple. I don't intend to read on in this series because I didn't feel any pull towards the other characters that will have stories to be featured. But I'd definitely try another one of her books.

I loved this second chance romance. To be honest this is actually my first book about a sexy Bull Riding hero. Rhett Allen is sexy and sweet and completely swoon worthy.
Rhett is a championship Bill Rider who left home about six years ago to pursue his dream. Shortly after Monroe, the girl who had his heart, took it and stomped all over it. In the years since he left the little town of Heaven, he has not been home once. He cannot handle seeing Mo, and has forbidden his family members to even speak of her. But when an injury lands him in the hospital and needs someone to help take care of him, he has no choice but to go back. Which also means facing his past again.
Monroe is a hard worker who takes care of her father, runs an animal shelter and works at night. Six years ago she not only broke the heart of the only man that she loved but she also broke hers in the process. She has not been herself since then. When Rhett comes back to town she promised herself no more lies. When it comes to Rhett she needs to tell him the truth that she has been holding on to. He may never forgive her but he needs to know.
The spark between the two of them is still very much there. And you can still feel how much these two deeply care about each other. Rhett is still having a hard time dealing with what happened six years ago but at the same time he wants her in his life. Realization hits him and he knows that he cannot walk away from her again. Until the truth comes out and boy what a truth it was. Trust me you will get mad, maybe even angry and at the same time it will cause your heart to break as well. I was mad, frustrated and wanted to punch a certain someone. Will Rhett walk away or can he forgive Monroe and give love a second chance?
I completely swooned over Rhett Allen. He was a man with a broken heart but yet his attitude and actions, especially towards Mo definitely spoke volumes. He truly tried to put the past behind him when it came to her and when his heart was all healed again, watch out, because we get to see more of the sexy side of Rhett .
Crazy Sexy Live is the start of a new series that I know is going to be fantastic. The writing is excellent. This book has it all, the right mix of drama, angst and sexiness, a sexy heroine who will make you weak in the knees, a strong independent heroine who you will love and admire and a cast of supporting characters that you cannot wait to hear more about. Once I started this book I did not want to put it down. A must read!!

When I first started Crazy, Sexy Love the series title kind of freaked me out. A few years ago, there was a rash - pun definitely intended - of books about venereal diseases; honestly, they grossed me out. So, let me assuage my fears (and potentially yours), Dirty Dicks, while an important asset to the story, has nothing to do with genitalia. After I figured that out, I let myself relax into the story and truly enjoyed Monroe and Rhett’s journey back to one another.
Crazy, Sexy Love is the first book in KL Grayson’s Dirty Dicks series. Each book will focus on a different couple, but they are interconnected so you’ll see characters from each novel throughout the story. Crazy, Sexy Love is written in first-person perspective, narrated by Monroe and Rhett.
I love me a good second chance romance and Crazy, Sexy Love delivered on that front. Monroe and Rhett had wonderful chemistry, from the second Monroe saw Rhett get bucked off the bull until the final page of the book, their passion and adoration was palpable in every thought, word, and action involving the other. I was infatuated with them and how – despite the sins of their pasts – pure and almost innocent their love was.
After reading some incredibly dark, heavy, emotionally-draining book, Crazy, Sexy Love was a great holiday. Heaven was such a comforting place to go to. The characters felt familiar and real, and the town itself felt much like my own small-town America hometown. While both Rhett and Monroe faced some difficulties, they had such amazing friends and family around to support them I never felt like they were up against insurmountable odds. I just loved the dynamics Ms. Grayson put into play in this book and how content I felt while reading this book.
There were moments I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, especially in the form of a certain troublemaker, because of how little angst was in Crazy, Sexy Love. I was sure, several times how the conflict point of the book was going to play out and I think I was a little disappointed to have not got more out of the climax of the story.
KL Grayson won me over with her A Touch of Fate series and secured her place on my must-read list with The Truth About Lennon. She writes emotionally poignant stories and is adept at making her stories feel real like they could be the stories of people you’ve met throughout your life. This book didn’t quite stand up, emotionally, against her other stories, but I still very much loved the new, lighter tone she took in this book.

Where to start, where to start??!!! First of all, if you’ve not read a novel by KL Grayson you need to stop what you are doing and rectify that! She is just amazing! She has an amazing ability to bring us strong males that totally make me swoon and fall in love with and females that aren’t weak and helpless. They may have their struggles but they are females you can identify with. Crazy Sexy Love with another hit for her for me. I just loved it! Second chance love is a favorite of mine to read and Ms Grayson made me fall in love with Rhett and Mo! This is a book I would highly recommend and was a HUGE 5 star read for me! This is a standalone and is told in alternating points of views.
Mo puts everyone first instead of herself. When her father had a stroke several years back, she dropped everything to be his caregiver and takeover the family business, a no kill animal shelter. She had dreams of being a veterinary and had to drop of school. She works at the shelter during the day and waitresses a couple of times a week at night at a local bar. She doesn’t have time for herself let alone a relationship. She had one love in her life but when her father got sick, it seemed like everything started falling apart, including her relationship.
Rhett is a top bull riding on rodeo circuit. He’s made it big by being the best and sacrificing not only his body but any relationships. When an injury sidelines him and sends him home to rehab, he will come to face to face with the person who even held his heart, Mo. When the two come together the sparks are still there and its evident they have feelings for each other. What happens when they discover those feelings are still there?

KL Grayson has written a fantastic book with a hot bull rider book boyfriend. Yee-haw! Rhett Allen is a champion bull rider who has it all. Then he is injured and has to return home to Heaven after 6 years to recuperate when he has to face his past finally. Monroe “Mo” Gallagher was the love of his life. She never left town due to her dad and needing to take care of him. Things happened between these young lovers that caused Monroe to cause him to leave. She had to because he had dreams that needed to be lived and Monroe couldn’t leave so she did what she thought he wanted. Monroe has made sure to stay busy after the love of her life up and left. Oh she has kept track of her lost love but with everything on her plate, she has tried to let her life go on as best as she possibly could. She is the sweetest woman ever written, and she has a heart of gold. Monroe has only been surviving on half a heart. Now that Rhett is back in town, she is wondering what will happen between them. She knows she needs to tell him the truth , be honest about why she really ended their relationship. Only thing is, will Rhett allow her to get close enough to explain? Or will Monroe continue to live with the heartbreak and regret forever ?

So I stumbled across this book while browsing through Amazon, and as I am a bit of a sucker for cowboys, I decided to give it a go.

Guyssss, I am HOOKED!!! I was so excited to realise this was a series centred around one family, and I went straight back and got the next two books also.
Rhett Allen is LIFE!!! If you are fan of dirty-talking cowboys, then I guarantee you will love this man. The chemistry between him and Monroe (Mo) is insane! Right from the get go, you can tell there is unfinished business between these two, and it’s only a matter of time before things get explosive.
This is a beautifully written, second chance romance, with so many amazing characters; I’ve fallen in love with them all (particularly Coop, Trevor and Linc)
I had never read a book from KL Grayson before, but I know that from now on I am going to be devouring everything she has written!

Y’all Staaahhhpp It! I was not ready for how much I love KL Grayson. I started this series because I read her Crossover novella, Crazy Imperfect Love, and I was crazy about it! I knew I had to read the Dirty Dicks series.
There is so much to love about Rhett and Monroe. Rhett is the first hot bull-rider Hero I’ve read and he was so damn sexy. Monroe was equally wonderful. She was strong, loyal and loving. I love a second chance romance and this one takes the cake!
This is quickly becoming one of my very favorite series.

This is a great second chance romance. The characters made this one for me. I loved them all and it left me wanting more from this series. Mo and Rhett captured my heart and I was pulling them right from the start. I love the work that Mo does. Her animal rescue was one of my favorite things about this book. I found myself laughing quite often, but it also has it's heartfelt moments. I did tear up a few times while reading this book. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely adore any and every thing K.L. Grayson writes and I was so looking forward to this release from just the cover and blurb alone. And yep, she's done it again. I LOVED this book!
Ok, so I'm already a sucker for a second chance romance and when K.L. Grayson is writing that second chance romance you can bet that you're going to feel every bit of emotion from her fantastic characters. And boy, did I ever with this book...
Super delicious pro-bull riding champ Rhett begrudgingly heads home after a bull riding injury and he knows what's in store when he returns....Mo. The girl who stole his heart all those years ago.
Mo has had her own set of circumstances that has shaped who she is today and she's also never forgotten that cowboy from her past.
What happens now, when a little fate and forced proximity comes into play, makes pure magic. Oh man how I loved these two together. Mo is a strong, selfless gal and I loved reading her. Her life hasn't been a cake-walk and her story broke my heart but I knew Ms. Grayson would give her the happily ever after she deserved ;-) Rhett is the whole freaking package. He's sexy, sweet, and has a soft side that had me swooning. OMG and that southern drawl? Call me a goner for that man! Their journey isn't an easy one and they definitely handle some bumps along the road as they reconcile past hurt feelings and broken hearts but when they come out on the other side of things, it's sublime.
