Wow

Finally, this author did it all. There are photos, good instructions and patterns are understandable! She truly takes you from beginner to advanced. Plus she added care of projects including odors and stains. Which is helpful for more than just projects made with yarn. Also gives ideas for selling your work. This is a good book for your library. I visit the free book section often and download books hoping for a gem and usually find myself disappointed. Because it's free i can't complain but I'm often left wondering why someone would put so much effort in a book and leave out pictures to let you know what you'll be making. This book is that rare gem, thank you Diane Sage.

Crochet How-to

This is an excellent book on,not only crochet stitches and how to read graphs and written directions, but also how to care for your yarn. It also covers cleaning tips and tricks to remove odders from crocheted garments. It then covers the online and brick & morter aspects of selling your crafts you make. The author also mentions places you can check to donate to charities. As an intermediate level crochetor, I would recommend parts of this book to begginers to the expert who might be looking for outlets to sell or donate items to. There is something for everyone in this book, even if only to clean grandma's afghan!

Confusing and frustrating at times.

If it was rearranged a bit it would be more helpful. It gives partial instructions for some projects, leaving the reader to figure out the rest. I've been crocheting for years and I was confused at times.

Lots of good info.

This is a solid read for beginners and experienced crocheters. There's even info on starting a business and some of the best ways to go about it. It has a few stitches and pics of them, which is really nice.
