This is the fourth book in "The Outlaw" series and continues on with Colt & Karis' story from where it left off in the last book, For the Heart of an Outlaw.
Great story.
Great characters.
Another satisfying and entertaining read by T.S. Joyce.

TS Joyce has the capacity to write deeply emotional stories that crackle with sarcasm, wit, sexiness, and belly laughs.
Her words are magic, as she continues her Outlaw Shifter series. Each character has a presence, that helps you feel like they are sitting on a bar stool, or at a campfire, right next to you.
I woke up today, thinking it was just a regular Saturday. And then found the gift she left us, just a few short hours ago.
What author has you waking up and gulping down her words with your morning caffeine fix, because EVERYTHING gets put on hold when her words are released? Alpha is that author.

Another fabulous addition to the Outlaw Shifters series!.
I fucking knew it!!!!!! From the minute Genie was mentioned something felt off, gut instinct told me she wasn't what she seemed.
Loved getting to read more from this crazy bunch of dysfunctional looneys!. As per the story is engaging, the pace is set perfectly and the characters are so freaking loveable. I lurvvvvv Colt and Karis anyway! They are hilariously amusing in all their Crazyness.
So fucking excited for the next book though!!!.
If you love some shifter smut with great characters, a little drama and lots of laughter... this is your guy! Start from the beginning though because it's not a standalone.

Fantastic!!!!!
How can something so small make your entire day? This novella just did!!! I love Colt and Karis! And this little continuation of all of the Two Claws clan us just enough love and passion to hold this fan over until the next book ( maybe) More threats from the Creepy as Hell Crows....Revelations you may not have seen coming......Great laughs.....Smoking Hot Passion...and even "Mushy Stuff"......what more do you need? If you aren't a TS Joyce addict yet you should do yourself a favor and grab a book and prepared to get hooked because you cannot stop with one. She pulls you into her character's world's and you do not want to leave!! Anxiously awaiting the next as always!!!!

I loved it!! I love T.'s book so much I put whatever I am reading at that moment aside to read her book. I love that her books have so much heart and soul. Her novellas, like this are short, but enough to give us all a little more of her great characters and seamlessly lead into the next book. I adore Karis and Colton, Trigger and Ava and of course the wishing squirrel Genie and the reindeer Norman. T.S. Joyce is the first author that I just can't get enough of- as long as she keeps writing and pouring so much love into her characters I will keep reading!!! I can't wait for the next one!!

This little novella is just a continuation of the warmaker's story. It also gives us a little insight to the next book, which is a story for Genie the squirrel. This book is short, but it is very sweet. It also rounds out the story of Colt and Karis very nicely.

Don't pay for this
Sorry, but this is just an extremely short barely story. If I had paid money, I would be upset. Seriously, read it in 30 minutes! We had the trail ride, which was glossed over. We didn't see past the first 4 hours of it. It was a huge missed opportunity because the family was very interesting for the whole 5 minutes we got to spend with them. This story could have taken up 1-2 chapters of the next book and been good. If you are on KU, go ahead and read it. It's just not worth paying money for in my opinion.

Beast Whisperer!!!
Karis Dunaway, mate of Colt Dorset felt it in her bones that something big and bad was heading Two Claws Ranch's way. Her and her clan were fighting to save their ranch.
They had their first trail ride after a long time. But trouble was surrounding them if they wanted things to work. They will have to work together to keep things going on the right track.
Colton Dorset didn't care about anything more than keeping his mate, Karis, happy and safe. As they set out on the trail ride with their new clients, they were all in danger. He would do anything to protect his one true love.
Things between him and Karis were going great but his inner bear couldn't seem to calm down. The Warmaker wantes revenge for what the Crows of the Red Dead Mayhem Clan (whom we've met in FOR THE HEART OF AN OUTLAW ) did to them.
Warmaker was riling everyone up and they had to figure out a way to soothe the beast, which Karis did. The Two Claws Clan had a lot to lose and that scared them more than anything in the world.
Loved all the twists and turns, Two Claws Clan was growing. Looking forward to what comes next.

There is a reason that I am addicted and devoted to the worlds and characters that live in T. S. Joyce’s imagination – it’s stories like For The Heart Of The Warmaker. In every one of her series (or sub-series, connected) there is one story that is pivotal to everything before and after it, and for the Outlaw Shifters series I believe it’s this story. I believe that so much that I don’t really want to say much for you should get that “ah-ha” moment on your own.
The war is still on, the danger is very real yet this clan of outlaws has a business to run, lives to get on with – and amidst all of what is going on they do just that. They’ve taken out their first trail ride clients, and faced some pretty intense realities. All I’m going to say is sometimes that annoying little voice in the back of my head is right.
I absolutely loved For The Heart Of The Warmaker, and if you’ve read the series so far you will, too. Because events do flow from one story to the next I will strongly suggest that this series be read in order – but that’s no huge chore for they are all amazing stories. I’d highly recommend this story, this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who loves a good, solid story, likable characters, definitely sexy times and the creation of a tight knit community, even when it’s a small one.

Oh what can we learn from life, well we can learn as much from books, and this story teaches us the value of taking care of someone in your clan regardless of their size or how squirley they are.

This is the forth book in this series and they should be read in order. This is a great quick read. The Two Claws Clan has taken care of the Darby cougar clan but that brought a new enemy. The Crows Clan, Red Dead Mayhem. Karis feels like there is a storm coming. She doesn’t know what or when just that something in coming for the clan. The newly turned Ava is having issues with her bear. Colton is super protective now that he has a mate. Colton is tired of taking hits from every side and is going to make the first move this time. Colton wants to know why the Crows helped the Cougars and how they can find a way to just exist peacefully. This book is a great set up for the next and final book in this series. I can’t get enough of these characters. I already have the last book in this series ready to read.

Omg, ! My chest and stomach hurt from laughing so much!
So amazing, I felt like I was there witnessing everything that happened. Sorry but Genie rocks. I highly recommend this whole series for everyone that loves to laugh while reading a romance novel. There were a few tears of sadness but most were on your back bellyache laughing with tears running down your face from laughing so hard. You will go back and reread parts, just to laugh again at Genie’s actions but have Good Kleenex around and make sure you are alone. My family thinks I’m nuts...I’ve been reading this series for 2 days and nights straight. Sleep is overrated. On to the last book. Thank you for such an amazing book and series. I am secretly hoping that Norman gets a bigger role in the next book and Genie has a litter of bad attitude babies.

Warmaker
I'm loving the shorts between the stories in this series. This book was amazing as always but one of my favorite quotes was “Yeah, well, our lives look like a kindergartener scribbled a map on construction paper with six different crayons.”. I think everyone can relate to that at some time or another in their life. And like always T makes you feel everything with her words. I really love this outlaw series and I'm excited for the wishing squirrels to finally get her voice. You did it again Alpha, with another amazing read. If you are reading this review, please pick up one of T's books if she is new to you. I don't care which one they all kick a** you will not be disappointed. Happy reading!!!

This is another story about Ava and Colt, and it starts right after the end of the previous book in the series. This is more about the dreams and fears of Ava and Colt, and a little about his squirrel Gennie, This book is mostly an introduction to the next book in the series, and prepares the setting for the new war and the new challenges we are going to see in the next book.

Everything and more
Changes are all around the Two claws, and the warmaker is on even greater edge after the betrayal of the crows in the recent battle! This had everything you could ask for in a great book and more! I laughed, cried, and was so surprised with the extra twist that I couldn't believe I had made it to completing the book while still craving more pages! T S Joyce has gift for evoking passion, loyalty and a sense of family not just withing the amazingly relatable characters within her stories but also from her reader!
I highly recommend reading this book as well as all her others! They're better than chocolate

Things are odder than usual at Two Claws ranch, Karis and Colt are still trying to settle into being a couple, the girls are still angry at the boys for not being their when they were attacked, everyone still misses Gunner and the cub as tensions run high because it’s time for the first paying customers to arrive for their trip.
Karis is certain the crows that keep invading the ranch are harbingers of something really bad coming their way but Colt is more than certain the Crows MC is behind the misfortunes to take that last step that will make them lose the ranch and everything else.

Another Five Star Book
This was an excellent continuation of the previous book in this series. The characters are a ragtag group living a harsh life with many ups and downs. But they wouldn't want your pity. They have love and laughter and good times also. This was a wonderful addition to the series. The next book will be out in February and I look forward to reading it as I do all of the author's works. This series get better and better and I await the surprises coming in the next book.

3.5 Stars - Unfortunately, I was trying to figure out why this story was done. It was really short. Colton and Karis were still great as was Trigger and Kara. We only got a taste of the storm with the Crows. Maybe it was just to introduce Genie as to who she really is. For me, I would have wanted this a part of Colton's book, which was right before this. I am just wondering how long will the wait be for Genie's story?
I really like this author but splitting this story from Colton's did not make sense to me.

Karis doesn't feel her animal, but she feels something terrible is brewing. What could those terrible crows want with the clan?
Karis is lost without her animal she's never felt this alone, but at the same time it could be the beginning of the happiest moment of her life, not to mention the Warmakers!
This one is short and sweet, but also full of so much intrigue.... What is that crazy squirrel up to now, she's acting funny and hiding?
OMG, so much mystery, call me intrigued I'm getting book 5 right now!

On my goodness! What a story. This book is short but packed with adventure, action, suspense, danger, romance, and mystery. This is a standalone novel but fits right in with The Outlaw Shifters series. This history does continue Colton's and Karis' story but the reader also gets to see how The Two Claw Clan is doing. A great story with well developed characters and a great 👍 plot and setting.

Closer to a serial than a series, this continues the saga of the Grizzly clan on their ranch, scrabbling out a living while being harassed, assaulted and attacked by enemy shifter on all sides. And while bad stuff keeps happening, good stuff, does, too.
Thanks for fun story- can’t wait for the story to continue!

Warmaker, part two
This KU library selection begins where book three ends. It's a quick and easy read with substance. The clan has their first trail ride in several years coming up, then the crow shifters attack and Warmaker declares war on them. While book three can stand alone, this book is dependent on book three for background and reference. It's more a bridge between books three and five. Best yet, start with book one.

While book three can stand alone, this book is dependent on book three for background and reference. It's more a bridge between books three and five. Best yet, start with book one.

T.S. Joyce has created another great book. I am loving this series. The books are all short, and I do wish they were longer, but these books are better than most full size books I've read lately. The friendships and makeshift families are magical, and tge humor is perfect. I never fail to both laugh and cry while reading each book, and this installment was no different. I can't wsit fit tge next.

Always better;
If you are looking for a story of a clan that has to fight for everything they have with love you have found the best series and author . T.S. Joyce writes the best bear series, the best mixed dragon, Wolfe, and everything in between. Give her a shot and you will fall in love with her also. All of her books gets better after the last one. I'm waiting for the next box with batted breath.

The Warmakers Heart
The story was jammed packed with action from the beginning. A short story page turner. Somebody forgot to tell the crows that Two Claws Clan will fight to the death. Now that a baby is on the way all I can say is watch the class if you decide to step to this clan. Wowzers I have been rooting for demon squirrel Genie since the beginning. That's a story I can't wait to read along with Kurt and Gunner.
