Seriously, this was lacking. I get that this was supposed to be a short novella. I love short erotic novellas! However, everything felt very telling instead of making me as the reader feel something. Even with only a few pages, you can make a good romance. My issue was that the characters were bland and the sex scenes were mechanical. I want to give the author another chance, but don’t know where to start. If you’ve read something else by this author let me know!

Whew chile this is just the right amount of sexy. If you’re looking for a Valentines’ day read then this is it. Nice and short but definitely good. I swear this is the first author I’ve come across that can get a story done without feeling incomplete in 32 pages!!!!

First of all, Pia is hilarious! Her conversations with herself are truly relatable. The names of those lifetime movies though!? Lol. Her encounter at the outing with Ignatius!? I literally shouted, his pager though?? Man I was done. It was tooo short! Hart was a smooth dude. I would definitely read a full book about them because Pia is funny.

Well damn....
This short story is why I hate short stories. It was great and damn where was Hart when I was single. I love a man that knows what he wants and goes after it. This should have been a full novel cause it certainly left me wanting more. And as usual Ms. Alexandria knocked it out the park.

Sometimes office meeting can be so much more
Pia was alone again for Valentine's day. She was tired if being alone and tried something. It did quite work the way she expected. But that was a good thing. Hart was her unexpected but much appreciated gift for the lovers holiday. Enjoyable but not over the moon for me. I was left wanting more of their story. A quickie with some heat.

Alexandria House...BRAVO! The writing, especially involving the incidences with LifeTime movies and the club scene, made me laugh. I so needed that thank you. The characters seemed so genuinely real and loveable. Heck I was even blushing towards the end of this read. My only complaint was that this story was too short and I wanted more time with Pia and Hart. Such a pleasurable, brief quick read.

TOO quick...but DEFINITELY an ENGAGING...witty and FUN read...Pia and her mishap encounters at the Valentine Hook-up was HILARIOUS...and a CHANCE hook-up w/Hart her FANTASY man...what a STROKE of luck...hope Ms. House has a follow up on this couple...House is fast becoming ONE of my favorite go-to authors! Lovely short story to tug at your heart a little and to let some naughty thoughts invade your mind. I could definitely go for some more of Mr. Abbott. I loved how Pia went for what she wanted and didn't shy away from it out of fear of how things are suppose fo go in life. They were cute together. Good read!

A spicy little short story...
This is a proper short story that I’d categorize as kind an steamy short story. It’s a little Valentine’s Day snack about Dana, a marketing executive, who’s single and looking to mingle on Valentine’s Day and her top client, who’s also single and looking to mingle. They meet in a bar and Val’s day hijinks ensue setting up a HEA for the couple.

Short! Spicy! Humorous!
This 33 page book needed another 100 pages to flesh out the plot and character development! Then it would have been perfect.
Hart and Pia had the beginning of something really special and then their story just ended.
That probably accounts for the too much "telling" and not enough "showing" component.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I liked the storyline. Hart and Pia didn’t waste time with games. They are attracted to each other and they acted on it. I recommend this short story.
