My Heart Was A Fool: Esmin & Greigh's Story

loved it!
This was a great story! Esmin was that guy. I loved everything about him, especially his determination for Greigh's love. They were so perfect together and it just melted my heart! It shows that love always wins if you fight for it no matter what. Good read!!!

BriAnn shattered my heart with this book… and somehow, piece by piece, she put it back together. I’m still trying to catch my breath. Greigh and my baby Esmin,my God they walked through a fire no soul should ever have to face. The pain, the loss, the way their grief tore them apart and slowly brought them back together… it was raw, it was real, and it was absolutely heartbreaking. BriAnn captured the beauty and devastation of grief in a way that felt so personal, so true. I’ll never forget this story

Ohhhh my heart wasn’t ready. This book is a trigger warning, but it was so good. Seeing Esmin & Greigh go through real life woes together definitely solidified their relationship. I’m so glad they grew through everything, bc this was some stuff that would break the average couple. Esmin was nottttt letting up, idk why Greigh was playing with him like he was regular.

Esmin and Griegh went from flirty friends to lovers in no time. As they are preparing to transition into a new phase, they face the biggest test of their relationship. Will they survive it...or will their hearts be foolish?
Wow, all I can say right now, just wow! Being the carefree spirit Esmin is and the firecracker Greigh is, I did not expect such growth in these characters. This storyline was everything: it brought out so many emotions in me! Esmin and Greigh provided me with laughs along the way, but the plot had me all in my feelings. This author did a hell of a job playing on the reader's emotions while delicately tackling a heavy subject that brought so much realism to this story. I felt like I was the one going through the turmoil and drama as the plot progressed. I loved the Urban qualities that was intricately mixed with contemporary romance. Esmin and Greigh's mannerisms and vernacular was on point and I loved how relatable they were: forget that lovey dovey stuff. We talking about real Black Love with that soul food feeling that sticks to your ribs! These two characters really took me through the ringer; and those sex scenes had me on fire! Their passion for one another was palpable and I loved their growth not only as individuals but as a couple. This was not your fairytale love story, but it sure was that real love you could see everyday around you. The grit and raw dynamics of Esmin and Greigh had me cheering so hard for them.
The conclusion was hearty and fitting for these two. We also got closure on other characters who are apart of this series. The author left no questions unanswered and wrapped up this story just right. #teamEsandG

I get where Greigh is coming from but her brother pulled a gun when she was in the (of course he didn’t know she there)so danger can come from her dad/bros bc if he’d starting shooting immediately that day, she could’ve been hit.
Esmin mom pissed me off. I hate when people try to force relationship bc they have forgiven. Give other people the chance or choice to forgive for themselves or and accept that it may never happen. If Esmin never wants to talk to Elgin, she needs to accept that.
I don’t like that Greigh tried to force her belief on where she thought his relationship with Elgin should be. He would’ve never done that to her
Greigh was my fave in book one and two but she makes me want to hake her ass in book three. She blame Es for her getting friendly with Malone. (Another street dude) Nah momma. I usually root for the girls but she on some straight bs

Worth the wait!!!!
Briann you are simply amazing. This book was so good. Where are no words to describe it but phenomenal. I used to be team Mir, but Esmin has taken that spot. This book took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed and cried. Greigh is such a strong woman. Her and Esmin deserved to be together. Will there be a part 2? Please, oh pretty please Bri. Tradegy can have a way of breaking people but it made Es and Greigh stronger. I didn't want this book to end. The closer I got to the end, the more I kept putting it down and walking away. Yep, one of the hardest things I've had to do. Lol I thank God for blessing you with a gift as yours. I thank you for sharing your gift with me and everyone else. Beautiful story
In the latest installment of the series we visit Esmin and Greigh. I honestly didn't know how this was going to go because in the last book it seemed like they were going to live happily ever after period, but was I wrong. Not wanting to give too much away this book takes you through the emotions of loss, grieving, forgiveness and love all in one. Brianne was able to capture all these emotions through her characters and pull them out in her readers, so many times through the book I felt like I was Greigh I was crying for her. Her story line and characters we're very well developed, you can def see the growth in her as an author. I Would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great love story.

My heart was a fool
Omg let me start off by saying I wish it was going to be a part 2....but anyway lol I loved this book I mean I love all of your books that you’ve write the the love that Edmund and Greigh has for each is AMAZING at first I just knew with them losing the baby they wasn’t gonna make it smh that was a tuff part for me in that book I cried like I lost my child smh but they way they stuck together to get to where they were at the end of the book just swelled my heart who would’ve known that the love that they have for each other would made him leave the streets and want to settle down I think god he made it that far....you did your thing with this book girl keep writing these good books and ima keep reading (wishing I could give this book 10 stars)

I loved this story. It was really good and I felt every emotion possible with this couple. At one time I thought they weren’t going to make it and I just started turbo reading trying to hurry up get passed the hard parts. But yeah read this series, you won’t be disappointed.
I’m a little sad it’s over.

My Emotions!!!!
This book had me up at 5:00 in the morning with a broken heart I did not want to continue reading this book omg Bri 😭 but I finished and I enjoyed every bit of. My cousin recently went through this and it hit home for me because I got to read about how she may have been feeling. I’m definitely going to have her read this and hopefully this will keep her faith strong as she continue to fight through her loss. I appreciate this read and I loved every bit of real life situations that was written about. You are very talented and I can’t wait to read your next project. Thank you Bri 💕

BOMB!
Another bomb book by a bomb author! I don’t know, i think Mir & Lee has been pushed to the back burner as my favorite!! I just loooove Es & G-baby! Even tho there was some major hurdles that they had to jump over, I’m so glad they got through it & was able to have a great ending like they deserved to! It seemed like after every obstacle, all they(well Greigh lol) did was take some time apart, regroup they thoughts and they always found a way back to each other! I love it !! Had a real thug crying real tears! Had to stop & collect myself a few times when Greigh was pouring her heart out! JESUS IM READY!!! WHATS NEXT BRI?!??

Love Story
I really enjoyed the tight relationship between Greigh and Esmin. In this story you get to see love from a different angle, the man. While most books are the woman fighting for love, Esmin really takes that fight to heart. Their situation nearly suffocated the heart, where one didn't know which direction to go in. Seeking out comfort in someone else isn't always good, but when the support isn't felt it happens. But when the love is true, there is no out. You want it for the long haul. Esmin is a different breed, he refused to settle or let anyone or anything get in the way of the heart that makes him tick.

Esmin & Greigh's story was captivating. I loved their relationship, their love was pungent and realistic as when love is fresh, it's great....but when life happens, love changes. The names really pulled me in because they were so different, they intrigued me. Yes, the storyline is not original, but the author developed them enough to keep you enchanted with their storyline. My only problem was the very explosive and volatile scene that Esmin switched up too fast, it was unrealistic and it was like it fizzled for me some. I love BD's creations, so I will go back and read the first 2 and continue to follow her with her creative tales! 3.78

Everything happens for a reason
Esmin and Greigh had that type of love that could withstand some rough times, and Lord knows they did. To experience that type of pain is unimaginable. Their responses to it was understandable. What they experienced made them stronger as a couple as well as individually. We may question God when bad things happen, but they happen for a reason; to teach a lesson, make our hearts stronger, our minds better, our soul cleaner. They definitely came out stronger individually and collectively.

Lord! This book had my emotions all over the place! I cried , laughed and cried some more! It was beautiful to see Es and Greigh's relationship withstand the test of time.What could have broken them only made them stronger and it made me love them even more! I was nervous and scared there love was going to be a bust. I'm glad Greigh made Esmin wake-up and show his feels. I really enjoyed Greigh and Esmin story. My Heart went out to them when they lost Elayah. Although it took some time for Esmin to agree to counseling with Greigh I'm glad he finally decided to go for him to get the healing needed for his relationship to grow with Greigh. Their love for each other truly conquered all they've been through and in the end were blessed with another baby.

Another good one
BriAnn, girl you wrote that book! I really enjoyed reading and I felt the storyline was very relatable. Although Greigh and Esmin's situation was horrible, the story wasn't super sad. I even liked how you wrote them grieving but didn't take it too far with the interactions with other people. Especially those people that could have caused major damage had they cheated. This was a very, very good book!

Simply Awemazing
I loved this book from beginning to end is was fantastic I'm so extremely happy for Esmin and Greigh and lawd my heart was broken and fell out of my chest when she left him...but everyone grieves differently and you have no other choice but to accept the process but all in all they pulled through and I'm happy for that even though I didn't want them to end I thoroughly enjoyed this series but BriAnn always brings the best through her books

Aww G-Baby
This story was super emotional for parents and parents to be. Counseling & therapy is always a sensitive topic in the black community so I enjoyed the authors approach for Es & G. I can tell Esmin is fine from his demeanor. Greigh needed someone to put her in her place but also fight for her when she lost herself. The closing of this series was needed to end all their ups&downs with peace. 5/5 recommend the entire series!

BriAnn writing is really growing! Greigh and Esmin story was awesome! She kept me on edge with this story both Greigh and Esmin had me annoyed with their attitudes but I’m happy they got it together. The tragedy they faced in the story had me stuck I was so devastated for them. Even though they faced some curveballs throughout the book love conquers all. Definitely recommend this

Probably my favorite couple out of the 2, I was so excited to find out Greigh and Esmin we’re getting a spin-off. The fact that we’re able to see all sides of a real relationship, the love, the tragedy, the heartbreak, the progression... I don’t think I’ll ever NOT read anything by BriAnn Danae. Beautiful story!

BriAnn has knocked another one out the park. I am so in love with Greigh and Esmin and was devastated with their loss. But Esmin stepped up on his grown man ish, bossed up and got his woman back. A true love story. I have never been disappointed with a book from BriAnn Danae. Can’t wait for her next book!!!

Another great read !!! I thought I loved Demir and Lee’s story but they have nothing on Esmin and Griegh. The book had me in my feelings the entire time. I felt every emotion Griegh and Esmin experienced. So happy they got their happy ending. I’d love another spin off about both couples weddings or Greigh’s brothers.

I’ve read every book you’ve released & it gets better and better with each read you’re such a Dope Author! The heartache that Esim and Greigh has to endure I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, yet they suffered such a traumatic loss they fought to the end & though the heart was a fool love conquered all.

I had to take a day and really think . Because I was happy,sad and sitting on the edge of my seat. I just knew she didn’t do us like that ..but Esmin I love him and Greigh together. some plans are already laid and it’s up to us to let the man above lead us . From happiness,uncertainty,loneliness to coming full circle . Just Bravo .. never stop writing Briann..
