My best book of the year … period. This is a book series that you get depressed as you get close to finishing it. Mark Goodwin is a fantastic author.

EMP Whatever that is
Again, Mark Goodwin has brought to life the Biblical story of the Tribulation and what we can expect, IF we are left behind after the great disappearance.
Mark writes a story like the great author he is. The story is prophecy of what is to come, with a twist of weaving story characters that make the readers stop and ask themselves if they would be able to survive during this time without God as their leader. Are you ready to test your knowledge as to how you will survive, where should I go, who can I trust and many other questions that arise IF we are here when this situation could arrive.
We are living through this pandemic that has changed the world as we know it; BUT who do you trust to be telling us the truth? What are you doing to help your community, and is this what is the best road to follow?
As I read all of these series Mr. Goodwin has laid out on paper, I find myself reading my Bible more and checking is close to prophecy his stories are.
If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I would highly recommended that you do so quickly before you are living inside one of these stories!

Heart in my Throat reading
This series was well-written and very frightening considering what's going on in our world today. I'm old and don't have the resources to prepare for what can happen, but God has taken care of me for all these years and I'll do what I can. I pray.

Seven Cows Ugly and Gaunt: A Post Apocalyptic Saga of America's Worst Nightmare.
What a title! What a Book! I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I am a Christian and really like finding a series that follows my belief system. The character development is matched by the plot development. Inserting biblical references to each segment of the series adds a great deal to the overall story development for me. Very well done, lots of action, lots of angst with some of the outcomes. I won't list spoilers, you need to read it and see what I'm talking about. Overall, a great series to me. I highly recommend it, it might just open your eyes to what's coming...

Educational, Inspirational, Now It's Up To You
First, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Thanks to the Christian writing these stories there is nothing to worry about, I would rate it PG only because of the violence. These stories are definitely a waker upper. Danny and his family lead you through what the world will be like when Satan takes over. Thank God He left some of his saints to remind people how things are supposed to be. I personally would love to hear more about Danny, his family and friends as they try to reestablish their corner of the USA. Thank you Mr Goodwin. Now to read the 7 step plan.

Great series
If you are looking for a faith based Christian apocalyptic storyline this ones for you. If you don’t mind reading bible verses as an into to each chapter plus lots of praying from the various characters you will probably still enjoy reading the series. The most gory scenes are in the main characters prophetic dreams. There’s no other extremely descriptive violent scenes like a lot of TEOTWAWKI authors seem to feel is required so you can concentrate on the actual story. Interesting characters and a plausible storyline. Great conclusion. Looking forward to reading other books by this author.

Non stop adventure
I have read all of this authors books. I love every one of them. This book Dannys dreams are unrea.l The main Characters Danny and Alexa walker grow together in faith and gods grace. Danny's dreams thrust there friends and family to make decisions that takes a lot risk. Many friends and some family die.
If you are Christian you will love this book. Scriptures are quoted at the beginning of every chapter. Its fast paste.A a Christian thriller is unheard of ,but this author brings it all to life.

Remember, this is fiction. Just like every author, Mark Goodwin uses real-life events and other material as inspiration for his stories. It's fiction inspired by the non-fiction.
I really enjoy Mark Goodwin's writing. He writes for the veteran prepper and the novice. The political, secular, and Christian narratives unfold in the telling of his relatable stories. You'll recognize similar events to real-life current events without feeling like you're being fed a cheesy story. For a "Christian" book, it has some shocking scenes that I did not expect but was unexpectedly pleased with.

SOCIAL DECLINE OF AN EMP
I just read book one in this series and found it,like the others in Mark Goodwin’s novels, written with strong, well developed characters. A firm plot line and realistic situations kept me interested from the get go. It show how an EMP will bring out the worst (and resiliency) in a person. It also shows the desperation and determination of how a societal collapse can escalate.
Might want to rethink your next read and start reading this series instead for a real eye opener!

I LOVE this author and his series of books he has written...this set included. He writes with a passion and understanding to open your eyes and think. He's a Christian who is using his gift to help a reader see what most likely could happen in the future with the way this world is going. He wants his readers to be prepared and after reading his series, you definitely think about your life and the ways of this world.

Great story and likable characters
I generally like disaster type stories and this is a good long read but for a few loose ends. I'm sure further stories will be just as entertaining.
It would be good to have a bit of background on the whole EMP theme as far as the cause and scope since only a solar glare could cripple the whole planet... But good action and a consistent set of characters really held my interest.

Incredible !
Action packed story with great characters threaded throughout. Loved reading all of the scriptures before each chapter made the story more believable to me. I hope the end times won’t be so hard, but where good men and women do nothing, evil prevails. Thank God for people who are willing to take a stand for what is right and true. I have read all of the last days stories, hardly couldn’t put them down! Looking forward to more from Mark!

I know there were some people who complained about all the religious Bible references in this book but I found them to be quite refreshing and very enjoyable
Author has a great voice I listen to the audio version and I love hearing his voice read the books as I follow along in the Kindle version. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I’ve read several and thoroughly enjoy each one

Interesting EMP survival novel set.
Each of the four book set gets better as you proceed to the next book. The first two books are long-winded with lots & lots of dialogue. Books probably could be condensed to half of the pages and still remain a solid read. I would have liked to see more prepper preparation discussed in book as several groups in the book were well prepared for an EMP event.

Since I've lived in South Carolina most of my life, I could easily connect with many of the locations in the book. Mark Goodwin always seems to put together such a great cast of characters that you feel like they are not only believable but seem like people you know. Goodwin's books should be a call to action to all Americans and especially Christians that the world he describes is close at hand. Now is the time to prepare for what lies ahead.

Very violent, political book. I kept reading for awhile while trying to ignore most of it but it's just not possible. It could have been so much better. To me Christians shouldn't worry about the end of the world, we do know where we are going. We would be better off being ready and preparing for heaven.

Very good books!
I have read quite a few of Mark Goodwin's books. To some they maybe preachy but I wouldn't say that. I would recommend these books to age 13 and up. Well written, good character development, no swearing and no sex scenes. BUT that does not mean the books are boring!!

Amazing Series!
Everything I read by this author is absolutely amazing. In light of what we are facing in America today, his books are also speaking right to the heart of what is wrong with this country! Christians have sat back for 50 years taking our freedom to live and worship as we please for granted . If you are a Christian, you need to read his books!

Exciting and down to earth!
While the survival aspect isn't new, the Christian aspect is. It's refreshing to read a book that teaches morals as well as keeps you on the edge of your seat. We need more books like this!

I like how Mark writes things that could actually happen. There are good characters in these stories and as they unfold you are brought in deeper and deeper into their lives.
