Axe
War was around the corner. The time to take Savage down was so close we all could smell it. Each day we grew stronger in numbers, but we were lacking one thing. A location. How the hell we didn’t have that already was really starting to put the club on edge.
When a random chick showed up in town, all my energy went to finding out why she was there. The second I saw her it was like all the air got sucked out of the room. Try as I might, I couldn’t stop my mind from running wild with images of all the things I wanted to do to her. There was no denying that I wanted to own her in every way.
It messed with my head. I touched her when I had no right to. I wanted to own her when she deserved to be free.

Allison
I had to do it. I had to run. Seven years spent in captivity and I’d finally been presented with the opportunity to go. So, I did. I took my son and fled.
Desperate for safety, I ended up in a town I knew was protected by the Steel Paragons MC. I didn’t expect them to include us in that protection, but all I needed was the illusion that it was there.
Then, Axe walked through my door and everything went haywire. The monotone man with the expressive face wouldn’t leave and he wouldn’t stop trying to push me in just about every way he could. It was his touch that got me the most. As messed up as it was, he pretty much owned me from the start, even if he didn’t want to.
The thing was, once he heard my story, I was worried he’d never look at me the same again.

**This story is no sweet tale, but that isn’t to say that Axe and Allison don’t get their perfect ending. It has dark themes throughout that may not be for some people.

Eve R. Hart has a habit of weaving stories laced thick with romance. They often bounce between awkward humor and dark themes- sometimes making a scary combination of the two. It doesn’t matter how it comes, she just wants love to win at the end of the day.

Eve lives on the coast of North Carolina with their partner in chaos, three beautifully nerdy kids, and a ridiculously sweet dog. When they need a break, you’ll find Eve lost in a book, playing board games with her family, or whipping up something crazy in the kitchen.

This was a skim read because I thought it would be Axe and Jessica’s book. Turns out she breaks up with him in the prologue and I had to read another book Killer Blonde to get her story. I was disappointed that he moved on so easily and had really zero regrets about how he handled things (not opening up) with her. So, this book follows Axe and Allison. She’s the old lady of the Savages leader we heard about in the second book.

Bottom Line- It was ok, Allison had a sad story and was pretty tough which was great because I skipped book 3 and was coming off of Ellie’s wimpy ass in Diesel’s book. Epi +1 and +3 years out.

** After the epilogue is a short bonus story of a MMF hookup between Diesel, Ellie and Chris. (Book 2’s H and h and his special friend.) I stopped because I felt like it cheapened their story. He had been such a manwhore and to me it read like he was jumping at the chance for some bi-loving under the guise of doing it for Ellie’s curiosity… whatever. I feel like Ellie put up with enough shit in her book, and I wanted to see Diesel ENAMORED with her and not open to sharing her with his special hookup/confidant.

So I'm skipping around in this series, and have decided to give this one star. I haven't wrote my review for Diesel yet because I honestly forgot. I'll probably write more later for Axe the H of this book, but that extra story with Diesel, Ellie, and Chris? Vomit inducing. First I hate MMF and this proved it. Ellie's HEA was completely cheapened in this and just shows she'll never be enough for Diesel. Why the author thought this would be hot and the reader's would love it I have no idea, but I'm side eyeing the ones who do. Diesel seems to have more chemistry with Chris than his wife honestly. Quotes like, "Chris, I've missed your mouth." Then Diesel saying he knows it shouldn't happen again because in the long run it wouldn't work. And he, Diesel, knows Chris can never be his. And then he says that stings! That stings? Knowing Chris will never be his? Wtaf?! What about your fucking wife? Basically once you get to this pathetic extra story in the end everything you read prior about Axe and his lady gets completely overshadowed by this. I'm not going to be like the other readers and say it was hot and whatnot. Overlooking the dynamics. The author making Ellie act like a cat in heat. The author cheapened Ellie's HEA and her actual character. She showed us that yes, indeed Diesel will NEVER change. Ellie will NEVER be enough. He even says it's the hottest thing that's ever happened to him, and nothing will ever top it. Well Ellie, hope you're able to open your marriage and include a third person because Diesel's not ever going to be satisfied. Haven't read Ky's book yet. He ends up with Chris. Guess I should read that one as well. I'm sure Diesel is crying himself to sleep knowing Chris is officially off the market. Ok. I'm done. What a shit show.

Edit: I have zero problems with M/M, or bisexual heroes. That's not it. It's that third person added. Just want to put that out there. I do have a problem when authors mess around with previous character's HEAs. Especially when it adds absolutely nothing to the the characters development. This was smut for the sake of what exactly? This just ruined a character for me showing he'll never change. Author should have just made Diesel's book mmf and I would have gladly skipped it. Even Chris's HEA will probably feel cheapened as the author told her readers a few times that Diesel and Chris have always had a special bond. Why not just put them together? Ok. I'm done 🤦

Oh what a web....

This book was so good. As an avid reader such as myself you start a series and wonder where the author is going with the storyline and twists. Well this author sure did a good job of answering all of my questions with this book. I still want HEA's for more of the club members though. I am seriously loving all the members, story, twists, sex alpha men, strong female counterparts, angsty, and hot 🔥AF sex scenes. It's everything you want in a MC read and series.
I really loved how strong of a character that Allison turned out to be.
Now onto another installment of this brilliantly written series.
Highly recommend

This was an enjoyable read. This is the fourth book in a series, but I read it as a standalone. The story follows the relationship between Axe and Allison. They both had difficult pasts, but I thought it was really sweet how they love each other. I thought that they were really made for each other. I think it was great to see how they triumphed over the hardships to be with each other. I am glad that they got the happily ever after they deserved. Also, the extra was great. I wonder what the other books will be like. Overall, a great read.

Allison and Axe are on fire together!

Allison has done everything Burke asked of her while she tried to escape the monster that held her captive for seven years.

Axe is quiet, has a rare sweet smile, and even more rare. Axe has had experiences, as early as ten, that changed his perception of life and how he intends to spend that life.

Axe - after bursting into the house across the road, he discovers a young woman with a toddler, thus the mission has changed. Axe proves to Allison that he can be trusted to keep her son safe and happy. At the same time, he's busy trying to show Allison how perfect they would be together.

When Ellie wakes up, she has a huge, unwelcome surprise for the Steel Paragons MC. Will Axe and his brother be able to keep Allison and her baby safe together, or will they be destroyed by their love for one another?

Worth a lot more than 6 stars, Axe is a wild motorcycle ride with some intense sexy times, and a hero and heroine who both live with compassion and genuine happiness no matter what life has thrown at them so far.

A fun, wicked wild ride with an HEA that only Eve R. Hart can deliver. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!!

I loved this book. I think this MC Series is probably one of the best I have read in a long time. There is drama with the club and a slow build of a romantic relationship at the same time. Axe and Allison are perfect for each other. Both have dark pasts that causes them to be broken pieces yet together they mend into one perfect piece. I loved that this story follows along with Tank's story (which I strongly recommend you read first). AND you finally get to know what happened to Savage (which Eve did a great job of leaving you hanging for more in Tank's story). Now I cannot wait to see who we get next. I highly recommend this book!

Twisted good!

Axe and Allison's story is so heart wrenching two lost soles trying to escape there pasts and ghosts that torture them. Ace has a horrific upbringing until Cal steps in and takes him and is the dad he has never had but his ghosts still haunt him. He is kinda a lost soul until the day Allison shows up and Lil Man they start to break thru the darkness but she has bigger ghosts than him together they fight thru with the help of his brothers and the club they all come out on the other side. Loved this book and can't wait to see where the club goes from here.

I found Axe to be an asshole when he first encounters Allison. Why not have the club just put a normal watch on her. The intrusion into her house and treating her like shit was uncalled for. Then once she reveals her past she's treated as a possible enemy. Just so so for me. I'm wondering if Bocca gets set up with Nadya's agoraphobic computer friend.

Better and Better!

When I read the first book in this series I wasn't totally impressed. I continued to the next book because I wanted more from the characters. I'm glad I did because each book has improved more and more. I really enjoyed Axe. Both the H&h are likable characters with lots of chemistry between them. I can't wait for the next book!

I didn't like this one at all.
He calls her bitch from the time he first meets her.
They barge their way in and stay to check her out and she has a young child but refuse to leave.
Within a few moments after putting the child to bed he is touching her and she's okay with it.

Axe & Allison

This is the fourth book in the series and it brings you Axe’s and Allison’s story. Both have horrific pasts but both are determined to get past their pasts and find peace together. And finally Savage is taken down!!! I really enjoyed this book, and the mini extra at the end was great too. I really hope Chris gets his own book, I love his character.

Axe

Little kids. They just melt your heart, don't they. Axe found his forever love in Allison and her little boy. He has to work hard to keep them safe. War is on the horizon. And Savage is coming for his property.
Will their love survive? Or will evil win? Read all about it here

Ok. But not one of my favorites in the series. IMO the H came across as weak. The h is running from the abusive man that kidnapped her years ago. He is the leader of the mc that is out to destroy Hs mc. Ex is killed. HEA.

3.5 stars. The beginning was just weird and had no rhyme nor reason why Axe would just plant himself inside a woman’s home the first day she moved in and he never left; because “old bat” had a weird feeling about her tenant. The story picked up but really soon near the beginning, Axe became a little mushy too quick, unlike his normal personality. I guess my favorite part was about the baby, he made the story interesting, to me. The action that was abruptly stopped in the 3rd book finally happened at the end of this book and it was good although it was predictable because of the epilogue of the last book. The series was good but I doubt it will be on my re-read list.

Overall Impression: ✨✨✨✨✨ This was one of the best MCs I have read and one of the few I have ever given a 5-star rating to. This is the conclusion of the Savage saga, and what an ending it was. Axe and Allison's story is so heart-wrenching—two people trying to escape their past, and there is hardcore DV and grape in this book, so read the trigger warnings. Lil Man is just an adorable addition.

The bonus story was useless drivel and brings the stars down to 1.
Authors have to stop messing with stories that have ended.

This book is fairly dark. Ace has some extreme demons, though I wish his blood lust was explored a bit better. Allison has been tortured for 7 years and has finally escaped with her son. To say that she’s fairly damaged is an understatement. These two are so broken but they fix and fit together so well. Lots happens in this book and it fills in the ending of the book Tank. This is a darker read with some triggers.
