A mysterious car crash. A house full of ghost animals. A medium with a large problem.
Lorna has had enough! With her own house haunted by a stubborn ghost, she decides to take a local job working with a medium.
Figuring any ghost will be much more interested in the medium than her, Lorna is hoping for a peaceful time, organizing paperwork and trying to sort out her own ghostly problem.
Her peace lasts about ten minutes before an angry ghost appears and accuses Lorna's new boss of murder!
Without Helen by her side, and things with Zach strained, Lorna feels alone and out of her depth.
When a second killing takes place, she realizes time is running out before the killer strikes again. When they do, they could be looking in her direction.
In a house full of ghost animals, a parakeet with an attitude, and restless human spirits, Lorna is busier than she's ever been.
K.E. O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren’t even there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.
K.E. (the K stands for Karen) lives in the United Kingdom (it isn’t very united, but that’s a mystery for another time) among the mystical stones and fairy creatures of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

I am really enjoying this series. This time out, Lorna goes to a job on her own without Helen. She is working with a Medium, but the Medium can only see animal ghost, not human ones. There are lots of ghostly animals in this book and a rather nutty parakeet. An angry ghost appears and accuses the Medium of murder, so Lorna must find out what exactly happened. There is another murder and Lorna may be the next victim in line. And Rose is definitely Twisted Sister. And Lorna finally finds out what is keeping Amelia, the ghost of Zach;s former wife, around. She and the others solve the problem and Amelia finally fades away. Now Lorna can live happily with Zach. I was given an Advanced copy of this book and am freely and voluntarily writing this review.
Ghostly Proposal is the ninth book in the Lorna Shadow Cozy Ghost Mystery series. To Lorna ghosts aren’t anything new, so getting a job won’t be too shocking or hard to deal with. Lorna thought that the ghosts would be more into her boss, a medium, than her so when she gets a visit from an angry ghost, things are not what she expected. I enjoyed this story, and I definitely recommend it.
An amazing mystery. It had intrigue, mystery, romance and suspense with a few laugh out loud moments. Absolutely perfect story-telling that kept me intrigued throughout the entire book. Fantastic work.
This one was definitely a 5 rating, I loved the storyline, but don't leave Helen out of the main storyline in the next one as I missed her humour around the ghosts. Enjoyed everything about this book, I would definitely recommend everyone to read.
Lorna takes a job helping a Medium Delilah and her sister Rose with paper work. Between the ghost animals and 2 recent murders Lorna has her work cut out for her.
I think this one is my favourite mystery so far. What great characters & a surprise ending. I'm really enjoying this series. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Another awesome book in this excellent paranormal cosy mysteries series. This author does such a great job with the ploys, and I love the characters. Excellent!!!
