RYKER

Rate this book
RYKER (Rogue Billionaires, Book Two) is a standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA RYKER Everything about her makes me want to do the wrong thing. When she came in my office, her chin high and those dark eyes fixed on me, soft brown hair tempting me to stroke it, it took all my effort to maintain my cool professionalism. To not give away that I wanted to run my hands up under her skirt, to feel those curves, to stroke her until she screamed. Andrea is sexy, hot, curvy, f**kable…and she has no idea the effect she has on me. Every time I see her, dirty images rush through my mind. Andrea naked, spread out on my desk, begging me to shove into her soaking-wet p**sy… I don’t want to feel this pull for her, this urge. There are plenty of available women I can hook up with if I want to. My willpower and discipline are strong. I can resist her. Until I can’t… ANDREA Ryker Baldwin. My new boss. He’s gorgeous—dusky blond hair, strong jawline, his dark gray suit molding to his perfect lean body. He’s a god, and I’m reminded just by looking at him how much I’m only a mere mortal. And those eyes. Those piercing brown eyes. They look right through me, like he can read my mind. Working for him is frustrating as hell. He’s demanding, arrogant and downright condescending. He’s also jealous when I so much as speak to another man. I hate feeling so lost, so confused, so turned on, so frustrated by what I can’t possibly ever have. Except that it turns out…maybe I can. Because soon Ryker has broken me down. He’s tempting me, teasing me, stroking me. And it’s the sweetest torture I’ve ever felt. Before I know it, he’s taken control of me, and I’m doing whatever he wants, wherever he wants. I am willing to be totally consumed by him, even if being with him ruins everything else in my life and burns it to the ground…

Okay...I rarely do reviews cause I’m just always so lazy. But gawd this book was so bad. I have to express myself before I combust.

Character development is so important in books. This book failed miserably in developing. Barely 40 pages into the book and Andrea and Ryker are shagging. 10 pages later they are in love, 20 pages later they are heartbroken, 20 other pages and they are married... LIKE WHAT?!? Everything happened so fast.

This book had a lot of potential. It’s just so sad how their relationship wasn’t developed like it should have

In my opinion we should’ve gotten more office scenes (her standing up to herself etc) that way we could’ve seen their relationship slowly progressing. Sexual Tension and chemistry is sometimes used e didn’t get much of.

The conflict was absolutely garbage. Btw. They are both adults. And with just ONE conversation they could’ve prevented all the weeping.

Lastly. I may be going crazy, but this book resembles the last book too much 😭

COPY, PASTE, AND MODIFY 💀

This book was so mediocre. I will read Aston just so I can complete the series but this book was a huge downgrade from the last.

The second in this series is entirely too close to the first one - characters especially. While they are different enough, Ryker seems to be really freaking close to Bentley in character. I get the whole alpha male thing, but sometimes, ya gotta change it up a little bit (not just profession). The mystery that was embedded in the first book twists its way through this one as well. As with the first, the story was rushed with underdeveloped characters and storylines. Just take the time and write some more to drive this home! I was hoping to get a little more insight into the cliffhanger from book one, but it was brought to the same conclusion. I sure hope book 3 ties this all up, or I'll feel cheated.

Ryker is book 2 of the Rouge Billionaires series, unfortunately this book was not as good a book 1. The story was short and rushed, there was a cliffhanger in book 1 that was not addressed in book 2. Book 2 had pretty much the same cliffhanger. Maybe all of this will tie together and come to a conclusion in book 3, which I'm only going to read because I have to find out. This story could have been better developed, but the author added a long preview of another book, which by the way I didn't read, I hate when authors do that. I was excited when I started this series, but now not so much.

Yet another cliffhanger

I was hoping that I'd get the answers from the cliffhanger in book one but this just created more questions! Hopefully this answers come in book three or I'm quitting the series. The books are ok and an easy read...finished in a few hours. I loved the Beckett boys series and was hoping this was more of the same.

Bummer

I was so hooked in the first book wasn’t to see what happen. And this was another couple I’m guessing the author it just building up for a bigger reaction but I’m still disappointed.

Exciting

I enjoyed every minute reading this sports story. Expressing the inclusion of the women in sports who are not appreciated for their input and knowledge of this world.

Women!

I absolutely love the strength that was given Andrea. This character gives women hope to be strong and proud no matter what. Loved this book!
