I was born in Glasgow and I've lived in Dublin since 1981. I have been writing short stories and poetry for many years.
“Canticle,” my first novel, was a winner in the 2016 Irish Writers’ Centre/Greenbean Novel Fair and was published by Turas Press in May, 2018. It's a historical detective thriller, set in Renaissance Spain, based on the life of the Spanish mystic poet, St. John of the Cross.
