DK Eyewitness Books: Dinosaur by David Lambert, published in February 2010.
Genre: Nonfiction.
Format: Hardcover, Print.
Plot: This book discusses the lives of dinosaurs, the period they lived in, what they looked like, and how they behaved. It also details theories about their extinction and what current methods are used to find and restore them. It also has an excellent section at the end of further resources for curious children.
Considerations: Some depictions of dinosaur predation.
Review: NA.
Selection Source: Christina Jones.
Recommended Age: Ages 8 and up for comprehensive reading, but younger children would appreciate the picture and if parents read aloud the age could go down further to 5 and up.

Want to know all about the prehistoric epoch and what roamed the earth at that time? Then you should read about dinosaur. Dinosaurs were the enormous voracious reptiles who once roamed the earth in search for food and also a place to stay. These gigantic beasts were obliterating each other to pieces when they were hungry. What I like most about this book is how they describe how they looked and how they acted. If you want to know how they were wiped out from this earth then read this well written book.

I did not like this book. I did not like how it talk about all of the time periods that took place millions of years ago. I did not like how it showed pictures of how the author suspected the earth looked like millions of years ago. I also did not like how it talked about how an asteroid destroyed all dinosaurs. I do not recommend this book.
