He wasn't prepared for an instant attraction to Tamera – the enemy…Tamera didn’t expect to lose her mind over Preston, a handsome man she hardly knew. She made that mistake once. She couldn’t afford to make it again. She needed to get away from Charlotte for a few days, and fast! She makes her great escape by taking on a weekend assignment at a beautiful beach on the North Carolina coast. She didn’t expect her drop-dead, gorgeous nemesis to be hot on her trail.

Family Ties

The perfect ending to the Alexander series, The life and struggles of Tamara, the only female Alexander by birth. The one thing all the Alexander's have in common is jumping to conclusions. Excellent series.

Different Taste was a drama filled story with two unlikely young ppl. Tamera wants to avoid a relationship at all costs. Her past relationship has her in fear of a new one. She’s overly protected by her big brother also. But Preston Michaels has laid eyes on Tamera and he is instantly smitten. Despite the reason how he come to lay eyes on her, Preston has moved that onto something for a later day, If ever. He needs to find out why his attraction to this woman is so magnetic. He is truly an alpha black male with strong swagger, looks and smells good too. He’s a dream male. The author did an awesome job developing such a desirable mate. For him, Tamera is equally all-of-that! I did think some of Tamera’s behavior was a little over the top, but for a character that has endured what she did, it “might” be near normal. But if so, therapy is certainly a strong recommendation. I was very pleased with this novel and was joyfully entertained for a couple of hours! Strong characters, good plot, and excellent writing beats out anything that might be avail on TV.

Different Tastes is a Winner!


I'm a huge fan of the Alexander family, so I have been waiting and wanting this book to be released for awhile. With that being said ,this book was well worth the wait. Tamara and Preston was the sweetest couple ever! I'm so glad Tamara got her happily ever after. Tamara had been through so much that she convinced herself she didn't want love anymore. Preston comes along and knocks her off her feet. Love how he took things slow with her. He was concerned with developing trust and a friendship before moving into the relationship. I love seeing the development of their relationship unfold! It was also great to catch up with Tyson and Gabrielle too! Very good book and well worth the wait.

Well where do I began this Author always give just the right amount of love and feeling to make you wish you were the person in the story, this book was so delightful and challenging you can't do nothing but love it. I read all her series and was not disappointed. If you want a good read start with this Author she's one of the great one. Can't wait to see what she write next. 100 star start reading you won't be sorry. I'm going to read it again made me feel loved and I'm not in the story lol

I really enjoyed reading this book. The author did an excellent job with character development and the story moved at an easy pace. It was so easy to fall in love with Tamara and Preston's story. This isn't my first book by this author and it won't be my last.
