After catching her fiancé with another woman only weeks before their wedding, Melinda falls apart. One day tears down all her hopes and dreams. She has been with John since high school and had committed to share everything in her life with him. Except him. She never intended to share him with another woman before or after her marriage. John had other ideas.
Melinda’s friends think Nevada is just what Melinda needs to get over the terrible breakup with John. Nevada is certainly a scoundrel, but he is a sexy and very rich scoundrel.
Will Nevada ever be tamed? Or will this become one day in Vegas that Melinda might regret forever?

So this was a short and sweet instalove story. I was hooked with the beginning drama l, cheating fiancé. I liked the going to a party and meeting “Prince Charming” kinda Cinderella. But what was a bit tougher for me to handle was the billionaire who offered to make a multi-million purchase for a woman he’s just met and bedded. I still liked it but more plot development would definitely have helped this story along.
Three chapters (out of six) where everything that happens could be summarized in three or four sentences (skipped most of it). They meet basically at the end of chapter four, and all of the sudden they're in love. Nope, not buying it. If the author had spent more time developing the relationship instead of describing how the girls went shopping and to the salon (two chapters of that), it would have been a decent story.
Brilliant story strong characters Melinda after walk-in on her fiancé with another woman she is heart broken but her friends help cheer her up and take her to a party where she meets Navada one sexy handsome guy who notices her and wants to take her away after one night she comes home as cam she take another chance on love with Nevada as he wants to.
I was expecting this to have a little bit more plots and a better story. I was disappointed to find that the story felt a bit rushed and underdeveloped. There's so much potential though.
Interesting read but too short I wanna as just getting into the characters and it ended! Wish the other characters were delved into more and more background on Nevada!thanks for the free read and I hope to see more! Please send more free reads!
This review is based on the audiobook. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t like this short story. I felt no chemistry at all between Melinda and Nevada. Even the narrator couldn’t add something extra to it.
6 chapters and the first three are unnecessary. Female lead goes from supposedly intelligent to vapid after one glance from the male lead, while he's entertaining groupies.
There was no context for them to be in love days after a 5 year relationship.
I received a copy of this book and I voluntarily leave my review. This is a 1st time read and review for Scott Wylder and I absolutely loved it. This is Melinda and Nevada’s story, Melinda catches her fiancée in bed with another woman and it blows her world apart. Melinda’s friends talk her into going to Las Vegas to have a one night stand to get over the betrayal of her fiancée. That’s where she meets sexy Nevada. You want to know what happens next well you will have to get the book. I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline and the heat between Melinda and Nevada was pretty intense. I definitely recommend this book you won’t regret it.
Uhmmmm...NO! It’s not the writing that’s so bad, it’s the insta love with no follow up after her breakup of 5 years. Really? Her friends were shallow and wanted her to find another man within hours of her breakup. I started hoping this book would end before it did. I’m sorry just not my cup of tea at all.
I thought Scott Wylder did a wonderful job writing this storyline. The characters were well developed and relatable. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
