Gods of the Stone Oracle is the last book (so far) in the Invisible Entente series by Krista Walsh. This book finishes off the storyline begun in the novella The Invisible Entente and continued throughout the series other five books. This book, like the previous books, is written in third-person and is from various different characters points-of-view.

The main point-of-view characters are the same six who have starred in the previous novels. Sorceress, journalist Daphne Heartstone; Private Investigator, Gorgon-Fae Gabriel Mulligan; Succubus, Model Allegra Rossi; semi-goddess, bookstore owner Vera Goodall; Molly, a human, teenage, blind-deaf, archer and Zachariel, a half demon-angel. Now, teamed-up to fight a foe more dangerous than any of them have fought before, they make the choice to rescue one of their own and put a stop to the end of the world as they know it.

This book is a fantastic conclusion to the series! If you enjoyed the previous books you are in for a real treat with this one. From start to finish this series (let alone book) is filled with action, wit, an intriguing plot, and interesting characters.

I have my fingers crossed for more books about these characters, I love all of them and feel they have so many more stories that could be told about them.

This has left me wanting more but its the final book in the Invisible Entente series by Krista Walsh, She neatly wraps up all the loose ends with flair and finesse. Relationships are begun,, friendships developed and ends with a feeling of hope for all. I really enjoyed this book, grabbing the odd minute to read while I was supposed to be doing other things.

I have both longed for and dreaded the arrival of Gods of the Stone Oracle. I've been reading the series as fast as the author has been putting them out, as they're wonderful books that have made me laugh, cry, cringe, and yell (in my head, of course, because otherwise people would look at me funny). I've moaned at the end of each book because I'd have to wait to find out what will happen. How are all of the Invisible Entente going to be drawn together, and what is the big thing that's been looming over them for months?

Now I know, and it is even more thrilling and exciting than I expected. They way all of these characters have been woven together (on so many levels!) is expert and well thought out. The tone of each chapter changed as each character became the "narrator," enabling me to crawl inside their heads and feel what they're feeling. The action is exciting, and the "big bads" are really big and really bad.

The ending of any series is a bit bittersweet but this series more so than most. These characters have become so familiar to me that I feel they're friends (when I make a cup of tea I frequently wish Vera was there!), but I don't have any more of their stories to look forward to. I suppose I'll just have to go back to the prequel and start over to see if I can pick up all the hints along the way.

I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Honestly, I loved this series through and through and would read the phone book if Krista Walsh wrote it.

I received an advance copy for an honest review....And I can honestly say WOW! Perfect wrap up to an amazing series. The first book was good and each and every one after was that much better as Krista introduced us to everyone and then brought everyone together for the finale. So much action, interaction, suspense right through to the end!

An amazing finale to a fantastic series that began with The Invisible Entente. An intriguing tale where 7 individuals are magically transported to a sealed room at the moment of an evil warlock’s death. In order to escape, the individuals are tasked with discovering who murdered the nasty warlock. Each subsequent story focuses on one, or more, of the Individuals from the locked room. Walsh effectively develops the characters while building the story. It is a paranormal mystery full of action and a tiny amount of romance. Something mystifying is going on in New Haven and it is “otherworldly” as are most of the individuals from the stories.

Gods of the Stone Oracle brings all the If the threads of the previous stories together and all of the remaining characters from The Invisible Entente. Molly is 17 years old and the only human from the group. She has been kidnaped by a group of demons to use as bait. The Invisible Entente group will take the bait; they would come prepared. First, they had to figure out where she was, who took her, and for what nefarious purpose. They gather all their supports and resources, human and “otherworldly” to try and locate Molly and the monsters that took her.

Krista Walsh has used her creative genius to build an engaging story with this series. If you have followed it since its debut , you will be thrilled with the finale. If you haven’t had the opportunity yet, you are missing out in a thrilling journey.
