Geir specialises in reconnaissance and has travelled to the Compound location so that he can get the intel the Pack needs to demolish the site and stop their enemies. It was supposed to be a fast mission until he met Valrea after she saves his life. Her scent and her curves drive him wild and je just wants to get lost in her. But he has a mission that needs to be completed just as she needs his help to achieve certain things too. Valrea is certain that he won't be able to save her but he is just as determined to make her his. Surely she could have just the one night with him?
I really enjoyed this story with the intersecting stories of Doc and the Pack, the General and Valrea, and the ancestors of the original supporters. I loved some of the characters and the way that they managed to teach (with coaxing from Valrea) compassion, kindness and caring. I loved that there were some great conclusions at the end as well as situations that were set up for a great finish to the series (when I expect all of the threads to come to the same conclusion). Easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.

I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.
You need to read the rest of the series to truly appreciate this book.
I really enjoyed this story, it is a great addition to the series. Valrea might be a trapped princess, but she definitely finds her courage to find her freedom. Geir is a good match for Valrea. He's tough, protective, and more than just a little stubborn. The two of them together are perfect match.
I do wish we got a bit more of Geir's brothers in the book, but I've got my fingers crossed that we'll see more of them in the next book.

I simply cannot get enough of this series. For some reason halfway through this one I panicked and thought it was the series coming to an end but am pleased to say that there is more to come. Each book brings answers to questions but at the same time asks more and in Craved there is a big surprise return - can't say who/what as it'll ruin the surprise but you're definitely gonna want to read it and find out. For those of you who haven't read the other books, each book features a different couple but the story runs consistently through all the books so you will want to start at book 1 so that you have context but I promise you once you have the first one you won't be able to resist getting the rest. Elin Wyn is outdoing herself from book to book in this series and it just keeps you riveted and waiting on the edge of your seat for the next one.

I have read all the books in this series so far, and as an avid reader I find this one of the best series I have read. Each and every book focuses on one of the brothers and tells more of their combined story and what has happened thus far. I liked Geir from the beginning, I just liked his cockiness and how nothing intimidates him. When he meets Valrea neither of them knows what to think. Can they trust each other. There is an abundance of action and intrigue, so there is no way you can get bored with the story. Get ready for some amazing twists that had me going "OMG". I recommend this book and the entire series. If you haven't started the series yet, don't wait any longer. You won't be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Another fabulous book in the Star Breed series! Book 5 carries brings us mystery, action and adventure. On a an Intel collections mission Geir is helped by Valrea after getting hurt.
In this book we have a few questions answered that I know a few of us have been thinking, a romance blooms as Geir has met his mate to and an unexpected reunion too.

Valrea and Geir
My opinion is this is the best entry in a fabulous series!
Geir goes to this planet to get information about what’s under the artificial dome that surrounds an island. They’re still looking for The General.
He’s nearly killed by a sea monster, washes up on the beach and is found and hidden by Valrea. After getting to know her he decides he’s taking her with him when he leaves but first they have a lot to destroy and her future sisters to save.
My opinion is this is the best entry in a fabulous series!

The adventure continues...
Elin Wyn manages to keep the Star Breed series fresh and exciting with each new book. I really enjoy her heroines---strong women who will fight for themselves and their men. Add in exciting action and just the right amount of heat, and you have a fun engrossing read.

Geir and Val - she's never had anyone to truly rely on and he's suspicious of everyone except his brothers. If they are going to survive, they need to learn to trust each other.
We get loads more info on the history of the General and Doc. The hunters are gone, right? Where were they created? Why?

Oh this is getting good!
On so I'm totally hooked on this series. As much as I want to get to Xanders's book (I mean it's the perfect making for a tragic love story)this one is awesome. We get to know Grier find the compound and meet Valrea. Not to mention a few more interesting surprises.

At this point I'm just sticking with it because I want to know the full story behind Doc and her "boys", otherwise the storytelling is disjointed, the dialogue stilted and doesn't flow. Got to the end and I couldn't get a sense of WHO Geir is except a caricature of all the Pack: overprotective, brave blah blah blah. And the only thing interesting about Valrea was her name.

Yeah the bad guys are on the run and another brother has his mate. Glad to see so many twists in the plot and so many questions answered. A great read well worth it.

Oh wow.
Awesome story! So many twists and turns, only find Doc alive and well! I loved Valrea. She was so separated yet so strong Her father was a horrible man that got what he deserved.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Craved. I couldn't recommend reading this story more. It's great . The series is amazing .
Such a wonderful Sci -Fi - paranormal series. It pulls you in at the beginning. I cannot wait for more in the series. A must read.

Series is improving
This book seemed much more interactive and the interactions were more lifelike and spontaneous. I am actually looking forward to the next installment.

Very emotional book about rebellion.
Geri is the packs scout. He's scouting when she rescues him and takes care of him through his recovery. They have to lead a rebellion to escape.

Satisfied all my cravings....
Totally awesome! I love how the various sub-plots and scattered heroes of this series have come together - first-rate story telling from book one to this fifth entry, and yet another steamy-sweet love story between the wolf-man hybrid created in a lab, and his very human, very feminine, very surprisingly capable natural born woman. Hot romance alternates with cold chills and heart-pounding thrills in this interesting and entertaining version of what became of the big, bad wolf.
