Like the crunchy bits at the edge of lasagna or the cookie clustered with the most chocolate chips, these stories are perfect morsels to satisfy any craving. Some of them are as short as one page, others several, but all offer rich glimpses into different worlds. It's the kind of book you want to stash in your back pocket for when you find yourself with an idle moment to fill.

What makes this a fabulous anthology is the variety of style and form. I loved having it on my kindle to dive into a short while waiting at the DMV or between appointments or over my morning coffee Because it was filled with such great stories, it was hard to not sit down and read cover to cover! However, I recommend savoring one piece at a time and really let it sink in before tasting another!
