Mehr als nur ein Standard-Fan-Buch. Viel mehr. Inspirierend und persönlich. Danach fühlt man sich WDW tatsächlich näher und verbunden. Happy to be a limelight ♥️
I usually don't read autobios but when your favorite band makes on you gotta do it. I read it in about seven hours, but i probably could've read it in less if I wasn't spending so long actually paying attention to everything I was reading. This book definitely is one of my favorites, mainly because of the topic it is on. I felt many emotions while reading this, a lot of pride mixed with happiness and on certain chapters tears. I'll probably end up reading this over and over again just for fun but I don't blame myself
It's cool seeing a band that you follow make a book. I liked the fact that they included things in the book that even their fans didn't know. Writing a book about your life I bet can be hard, but I like the way they wrote it. It's formatted very well, and tell a a lot about themselves, so this is why I gave it 5 stars.
I loved this book if you are a huge fan of the guys or if you just want to get to know them then this is the book for you I was so excited when it came out, I have always been such a huge fan and well let's just say that when they announced they were releasing a book I almost fainted so yeah... But overall I really liked it since it includes a lot of personal stories and tons of pictures(fave part) and it also includes a behind the scenes look at their lives which is amazing and they also have lots of great facts about them and many stories and amazing content overall soo I loved it, So if your thinking about reading it then please do because it is great and you're going to love it.
I love Why Don’t We, and when I opened this up Christmas morning, I am almost started crying. This book goes in so much detail about the boys life and I feel like I know them even better then before. If you love WDW, I would definitely read this book!
Sadly, I finished the book the day after I got it. I was really excited when I got it. I read the book for four hours straight. I love this band. They are hard workers and very inspirational. Great Job, Why Don't We!
I remember getting this my sophomore year of high school, I was so excited for this little band that I watched on YouTube and I just knew that one day they were going to be everywhere and I could be one of the few who could say I was there in the beginning and now reading this book again it made so sad like I genuinely started crying cause of everything that’s happened to them but at least I still have this little peace of history of what once was…
reading this again brought just as much butterflies and nostalgia as it did when i read it for the first time. although these guys aren’t a band anymore, i had to remind myself how much they saved me and made my life so much better for years on end. seeing them live in april 2019 was an out-of-body experience and i was SO close to seeing them again until mr. loeffler had to go and ruin everything 🥲. anywho, great read always and i’ll forever be incredibly proud of these boys. ❤️
I was quite literally obsessed with WDW! This had me really excited, holding onto their every word, loved the pictures and everything about it. Now that I’ve matured considerably, I will still always have love for them but this isn’t really a book meant to be tearjerking, though for an autobiography I’d definitely rate it really high!
Ich finde diese Biografie toll. Man bekommt einen Einblick in das Tourleben, das Leben vor WDW und noch vieles mehr. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich das Buch wirklich komplett lesen werde, but here we are♡ Stream The Good Times And The Bad Ones!!!
I saw most of the other reviews and noticed how the only reviews were from major fans. I wanted to be real with WDW so I gave the book a try and actually really enjoyed it. Although some events and wording in the book got repetitive, for this being their first ever book, there being 5 of them and them being a band it was a pretty awesome book. It was also an autobiography which would usually bore me but the book was an entertaining fast read.
I thought that this book was the best book ever. It tells about each of the boys and how they are in life. It also tells about how the boys became a band. What I love about this book is that the boys wrote it them self so you can read the book from their point of view.
A perfect gift for fans of the now broken band. The info, pictures, and interviews are all formatted quite nicely. Plus, the cover is a glossy reversible dust jacket with all their signatures.
i’ll be honest i read this in my boy band phase and it’s just an autobiography of their childhood/lives. if you’re not a fan, don’t read haha. if you like wdw , this is a good book to get :)
I loved reading this book because this book is based off of one of my favorite bands!
Brief Summary: This book is an autobiography written by the band Why Don't We, made up of Jonah Marias, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron, Jack Avery, and Daniel Seavey. Why Don't We is a boy band, who travels all over the world touring. The band was started in 2016, on September 27, when the guys decided, "Why don't we make a band!"
What I like about the writing is how each member of the band has their own chapter, and then they have their shared chapters. The authors used time in order from when they were kids to now.
This book is amazing. There are so many chapters about the band I love most. From their childhoods to how they got together, to their journey from 2016 to now. It made me so happy reading this book knowing that they're growing bigger than ever now. This book has taught me some valuable lessons and also made me realise that there really is no such thing as overnight success and we have to work hard if we want to achieve certain things. Whenever I'm feeling sad I can just read this book and listen to their music I know I'll be happier.
I have read several parts of the book by now, I probably read it all already and without even realize it... but who knows? Eheheh
For a fan it is an easy read and I always go back to some sections that I like to re-read! Highly recommend it for fans out there, if you don't know them by now, well you get to see a closer look in the book on who they are and it's beautiful!
I know exactly what my rating will be *★★★★★* eheh but I want to give it an actual full read and then mark it as read because like I said I don't know if I read it all xD
