Stranded in a time and place he never wished for, Kishan Rajaram must carry out his destiny of assisting the beautiful yet extremely irritable goddess Durga. This daunting task is not made easy by the fact that he must also face the truth about the girl he loves and the brother who stole her away.
When the wily shaman Phet appears and tells Kishan that Kelsey needs him, he jumps at the chance to see her again. In his efforts to save her, Kishan discovers that the curse he thought was over is just beginning. As time unravels around him, Kishan realizes that the fates of all those he holds dear lie in hands.
The goddess’s power hangs in the balance. Kishan has no choice but to sacrifice the unthinkable to fight the dark forces swirling around the woman he’s charged to protect. As he does, he discovers that love and loyalty create their own magic and accepts that he must decide his destiny once and for all.
Tiger’s Dream is the conclusion to the epic Tiger’s Curse fantasy romance series that left you breathless.

Holy tiger! The name for the last book is here! I knew what the fourth one would be 'Tiger's Destiny' and I made a game trying to guess the last name for the fifth one. I guessed 'Tiger's Battle, Tiger's Love, Tiger's Life' and so on. Well, I guessed wrong! Tiger's Dream is better than all my guessed names.
UPDATE: I just finished reading 'Tiger's Destiny' and am wondering how in the hell Colleen is making a fifth book to this series. Seriously, everything is wrapped up in the fourth book. How could she possibly make a whole other book?
Ok, I'm not sure what this will be about, because the fourth book had a definite series ending feel. All loose ends tied up. Happy ending for everyone. So here are my thoughts for what the 5th book might be:
1) A telling of the story from Ren's perspective. This would be cool, because I LOVED the part of Midnight Sun that Stephanie Meyer wrote. I read the Twilight series because of Edward (I ended up not particularly liking Bella and HATED Jacob). So this would be cool. His dream came true...Tiger's Dream? Maybe?
2) A book about Ren and Kelsey's son? Since the epilogue was titled "Rising Generation"? I don't feel like it can continue Ren, Kelsey's and Kishan's story with the ending that the fourth book had. So maybe it will carry on with a story about the baby?
3) It continues the trio's story. Maybe Lokesh comes back somehow and the trio has to take him down again (either in their time or they have to go to the past again or something). That way Kishan gets to see his brother again and meet his nephew, etc. Since there was a line in Kishan's note at the end that said "Perhaps in another time and another place we will meet again".
What does everyone else think?
EDIT: 10/8/12
Ok, I went to a book signing of Colleen Houck's last week. She said that the 5th book has not been bought because her publisher did not want more than 4 books. So that is the reason we got an ending in book 4...which I very much appreciate. She is still planning on writing book 5, though it will be really hard for her to get a publisher to pick it up since it will be just one book and they can't sell it as a boxed set with the other 4. But she's still writing it, and said she would self-pub it worst case scenario. Just wanted to clear that all up. Though, I still have no idea what book 5 will be about due to that ending. I'm still contemplating my above predictions. Because someone asked Houck if book 5 was from Kelsey's perspective, and she said "maybe".
I really wish people would read the fourth book before posting reviews on the fifth. All this nonsense about 'IT BETTER BE REN' could be completely avoided if readers would simply learn to not jump the gun.
That being said, I'm very intrigued as to what this book could be about. Tiger's Destiny ended on such a fabulous note that I can't imagine why in the world another addition would be needed. BUT!! It is an opportunity (wishful thinking or not) to read more about Ren and Kelsey. Ergo, I am on board and JAZZED to see what the lovely and talented Mrs. Houck graces us (the loyal fans, both diehard Ren and diehard Kishan. REN ALL THE WAY!!!) with next!!! <3
Also, I am pre-rating this book because whether or not it winds up being FABUL-O-TASTIC (no doubt it will!!!), I am such a huge fan of these books it does not matter that I have not read it. It does not matter that it is not released yet. The entire story, and it's premise, is so dear to my heart that I don't need to read it to know I will love it.
Since I wrote this one, I won't review it except to say I have never, ever cried while writing a book like I did with this one. It's an emotional roller-coaster from beginning to end.
PLEASE LET IT BE REN!!! IF IT ISN'T REN THEN I THINK I'M GOING TO DIE!
It should be Ren because Kelsey is clearly staying with Kishan out of pity. If you think I'm crazy, the chapter in Tiger's Voyage where Kelsey tells Ren why she's staying with Kishan and not choosing him. Another reason is that Ren would do anything for Kelsey. ANYTHING to keep her safe as opposed to Kishan who does anything Kelsey says. If Lokesh's men were to ambush (which they did but that's not the point) the three right now, Ren would fight for her even though Kelsey would beg him not to. Kishan would listen. Also, Kelsey thinks love should be "practical." That's just stupid. I mean seriously, who wants love to be boring and uncomplicated? The person you're with should be able to drive you crazy (in good and bad way) because you love them. Ren is DEFINITELY meant for Kelsey. I mean it takes three huge paragraphs to describe one kiss with Ren but with Kishan it's just: The kiss was gentle and tingly. It was comforting. With Ren, she gets into the whole warrior angel and dark Poseidon and how she'll always belong to the sea(Ren). Basically, Kelsey is just staying with Kishan because she's insecure. She's afraid Ren will find someone better when he's made it clear several times that's it's only her he wants, or he'll try to protect her and die or something. But no, she'll let Kishan go and do all the brave stuff. But Ren is the one she wants safe...hmm...interesting. :)
Another point: When Ren and Kelsey are having their conversation where Ren wants to get back together, Kelsey says: "You have to live with the consequences of your actions just as I do." Is she saying Kishan is a consequence?
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Remember in the second book when Kishan and Kelsey sleep in the Grove of Dreams, and Kishan has the vision of himself seeing Kelsey and the baby? (That means Kishan does meet them again.)
Then later, in the fourth book, in the epilogue, Kelsey and Ren read the letter from Kishan, and towards the end of the letter he writes, 'I have glimpsed what is to come. Forgive my interference, but it was something I needed to do' then he writes, 'Perhaps in another time and another place we will meet again.'
I think in this book, Kishan will come back and meet up with Ren and Kelsey again(maybe they will even see Mr.Kadam again, because the Phoenix told Kelsey that they would see him again.) I have some ideas why he might have to see them again: 1. They have to do something else that deals with the Tiger's Curse 2. Durga needs them to help her with something (another battle maybe?) 3. Kishan finds out something is going to happen in the future, so he comes back to help Kelsey and Ren
Those were just a few ideas of what I think might happen.
This book was so hard to read. It was absolute perfection and absolutely unnecessary at the same time. 😂
I always loved Kishan and his happiness was so important to me that I could only read this in fits and starts. While reading the series I was never really sure what I wanted to happen. Kelsey was never quite good enough for Kishan. She didn't love him properly, always thinking of his brother while they were together which really rubbed me the wrong way. But I wanted Kishan to be happy and he loved Kelsey, so I would count myself a Kishan/Kelsey shipper at the time, but Kishan's happiness was always more important to me than hers. Once he stayed behind with Anamika I knew I needed this book, to find out how he came to be happy with her as he wrote in his letter. I was terrified that it would be a another case of pairing the spares. After everything that Kishan had been through he deserved so much better than that. And he got so much better than that!
Really this book is just for people like me, people who loved Kishan and wanted to see him get his due. The story itself was completely unnecessary and a bit infuriating aside from what it did for Kishan and Ana's relationship. We are shown repeatedly that Kelsey was not the right woman for Kishan (which I knew) and that she was happier with Ren (which I also knew) and that Ana was a perfect match for him (which I didn't know) and that she would complete him and make him happier than he ever could have been with Kelsey (which I also didn't know!) It also proved to remind me why I loved Kishan so much in the first place. Kishan is a hero. Ren did some great things to save Kelsey or to get himself the future he wanted. But Kishan will do the right thing even when it does not get him what he wants. This book will leave you with no more thoughts of spares and with a romance even greater than Kelsey and Ren!
Θα εβαζα χαμηλότερη βαθμολογία, αλλά με συγκίνησε το τέλος.
Μία από τις αγαπημένες μου σειρές έφτασε στο τέλος της. Το πέμπτο βιβλίο της σειράς ομολογώ πως δεν το βρίσκω απαραίτητο να διαβαστεί, αν και μου άρεσε που είδα πώς λύθηκαν όλες οι εκκρεμότητες. Τυπικά η ιστορία τελειώνει στο τέταρτο βιβλίο. Αυτό εδώ είναι 800+ σελίδες και οι μισές είναι ξαναζεσταμενο φαγητό επειδη είχε κομμάτια που είχαμε ήδη διαβασει στα προηγούμενα βιβλία. Αν έλειπαν αυτά θα μου άρεσε πολύυυυ περισσότερο! Οι εξελίξεις ανάμεσα σε Κισαν και Ανα, το παρελθόν τους και γενικά όσα είχαν να κάνουν με αυτούς στο πριν και το μετά μου άρεσαν πολυ! Χαίρομαι που διάβασα γι' αυτούς ❤ Δεν μου άρεσε όμως το γεγονός πως έπρεπε να τους δούμε να ξαναπηγαινουν σε μέρη της κατάρας και να τα κάνουν όλα από την αρχή Θα προτιμούσα αυτά να λείπουν και να δούμε μόνο τη σχέση των παιδιών, το παρόν και μέλλον των Ρεν και Κελσι και τους Νιλιμα-Σανιλ (όπως και είδαμε). Τα της κατάρας ας έλειπαν. Υποτίθεται τη λύσαμε, γιατί να γυρνάμε στα ίδια;
Πολύ καλοφτιαγμένοι χαρακτήρες. Ειλικρινά τους έχω μέσα στην καρδιά μου
I'm almost too excited to read Tiger's Dream!!!! I'm just afraid that with Tiger's Destiny having such a semi-Happy Ending that this one might not, T~T I hope it ends well I LOVE a HEA ;) If not, than I'm gonna consider this (book 4) the ending of the series :) (Kinda like for people who didn't want to continue the Mortal Instruments books after the 3rd one, you could feasibly end it there and be perfectly happy. I couldn't, but others could lol) Edit:After reading Tiger's Destiny, I think/hope that the 5th book could be, a kind of collection of different stories told from different characters POV's. Like Kelsey tells a story about a specific event that takes place in the future, then we read one from Ren's point of view, then Kishan's, then Anamika's, etc. It could be like reading a little slice of how their lives continue post curse. I think that would be a great conclusion to this series, kind of like an extended epilogue.
They best come out a month apart, or I will not be so happy!:) Does anyone know anything about this book release date?? After you read book four you will know what I am talking about:D
It better be ren. sometimes an author wants to surprise the reader so they give them something they don't expect and then the reader gets surprised but they also get disappointed and they finish the book with a bad feeling and it would have been an awesome book but it had a horrible ending. so advice to the author: it's ok if the reader expected the ending just as long as they end off with a good feeling and are happy. A good romance makes me happy. I will NOT be happy if kelsy ends up with kishan but kishan shouldn't have a bad ending let him fall in love with someone else and everyone will be happy
I just finished tigers destiny. AMAZING!!!!! It was so good!!!! But WHYYYYYYYYYY Colleen!?!?! WHYYYYY do you have to make my wonderful Kishan stay behind in the past with Durga!? I mean don't get me wrong, i love Ren, but i want Kishan too! Just make him come back and leave Durga! (i dont like her!!! She can go AWAY FOREVER!!!!! Sorry to everyone else :p) BUT, Tigers Destiny was freaking AWESOMEEEE!!!!! Loved it! :)it was so amazing i cried for the characters during the sorrowful moments! Cant wait for the fifth book!!!
Wow, nearly a 6 year gap between the releases of books 4 and 5, I'd actually given up hope of this book ever being released! To be honest it's been SUCH a long time I've pretty much forgotten everything about the series so I hope the author has included a recap or I'm going to be totally lost LOL.
don't understand how there can be another novel after reading the fourth book. Whats there to write about, the fourth should have been the last :S -----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I did with Voyage, I will post interesting Tiger's related stuff for you guyes.
*1st Book Cover Thoughts for Tiger's Dream
So what do we think will be on the cover of the next book? Will it be a prequel told from Ren and Kishan's point of view - will it be told from before they were cursed?
Or do we think that the next novel will be from Durga's point of view, especially after her character was introduced in the last novel? Will it be about Kishan and Durga?
Here's a fan-art book cover I found of Durga.
*2nd An Interview with Kelsey Hayes, Alagan Dhiren Rajaram (Ren) and Sohan Kishan Rajaram (Kishan).
Looking back on your adventures, can you share with us what you thought was the most memorable moment along your journey?
Kelsey: The most memorable piece for me was when Ren first changed from a tiger into a man. That was the moment I knew the world was entirely different than I thought it was. That magic really existed.
Ren: Getting my memory back. I can’t even tell you how wonderful and horrible it was to remember everything and lose everything in the same moment.
Kishan: For me it was getting into the Jeep with Kadam. The world had changed so much and there was so much I didn’t know. I wasn’t sure then that I could handle this century.
Are there any particular creatures or entities you encountered the past couple years who you wish you could meet again?
Kelsey: I wouldn’t mind spending more time with Yínbáilóng, the white dragon. He knows much more than he shares. Also the Phoenix.
Ren: After what he put you through? I don’t think so.
Kishan: He’s not bad at all really.
Ren: I cannot entertain even the thought of you going through what you did again.
Kishan: I second that. You’re staying away from the fire realm altogether. As to what creature I wouldn’t mind seeing. (Rubs jaw) Those sirens weren’t bad.
Kelsey: I don’t think so.
Kishan: Fine. Then I’ll go with the Silvanae. Ren? How about that chimera?
Ren: No thank you. I’d have to say…the Gold Dragon. There are a few items in his palace I’d like to collect.
Who (or what) would you say has been your most difficult (or terrifying) opponent to-date?
All Three: Lokesh.
This question is for the princes: Name one positive thing about being a tiger.
Kishan: Hunting. There’s nothing in the world as thrilling as chasing down your prey.
Ren: I can think of something more thrilling. (Grins)
Kishan: (Frowns) Can we stay on topic, Mr. Romance?
Ren: Fine. I enjoy running. Feeling my legs stretch out ahead and behind me as I race through the grass is a pretty nice experience.
Kishan: Don’t forget the scents.
Ren: Yes, being able to taste the air and get a vivid picture of everything surrounding you is amazing.
Also for the princes: Name one negative thing about being a tiger.
Ren: Not being able to talk.
Kishan: That figures. For me the tiger takes over and I forget how to interact in the world as a man. Also, I miss fingers. It would be nice to be able to scratch my ear once in a while.
Kelsey and Ren, after all the ups and downs and all the experiences that you have gone through together, do you think these experiences have made you stronger or “better” as individuals or as a pair? If so, how?
Kelsey: I’m a much stronger person than I was before I left Oregon. I know what I want now and who I want to be. I’ve also come to terms with the loss I’ve experienced and that makes my current relationships much better. Being in a relationship was frightening before and in a way it still is but I’ve learned to appreciate the happy moments and not shy away from them for fear of the future.
Ren: Life and love is complicated. Losing what is most important gave me a new appreciation of how different my life would be without Kelsey. I don’t like the man I was without her. Everything we’ve gone through together has made me love her more, appreciate her more. She challenges me and I grow. She loves me and I am strong.
To all three, do you have any regrets?
Ren: I regret every moment I spent apart from Kelsey.
Kishan: There are days I regret emerging from the jungle at all but my biggest regret was allowing Lokesh to sway my good judgment. Yesubai’s death did not need to happen and that is something I will regret all my days.
Kelsey: My biggest regret is not being able to speak at my parent’s funeral. I’ve made my peace with it now but that above all things is something I will look back on with sadness.
What do you think the future has in store for you? Any idea?
Kishan: Kelsey promised me a happy ending and I have a pretty good idea of what constitutes a happy ending for me. I had a vision of it in the Grove of Dreams and it’s haunted me ever since.
Ren: Kelsey is the only thing I care about so if the future grants that I will be near her, then I could want for nothing else.
Kelsey: (Looks at both) I know there will be both happiness and sadness in my future. For now I just want to focus on the present.
So Ren, I must ask you: Kelsey’s Cookies or Peaches and Cream Ice Cream?
I just finished reading this book. After years of waiting I didn’t know what to expect. Even thought the beginning of the book was so full of unnecessary drama and Kishan whining over Kelsey, I must say the end of the saga was perfect and better than I was expecting.
I’m giving it three stars because the whole Kelsey, Kishan and Ana drama. I felt it was too much at one point, and I was reaching my limit but the end was so full of love, understanding, that filled my heart with warmth and I must say I am going to miss the tigers.
I remember this series so fondly. I enjoued readibg the story of Ren and Kelsey with their India mystic story. Sadly, for Tiger's Dream, my interest is dewndling fast.
Miss Houck putting too much aspect into her story. The adventure, the mystic and the romance. It made everything confusing in the story. Ana, the heroine seems to be in the background. While Kadam takes center role.
I swear is this is the book on Kelsey's pregnancy I'm going to beat someone. Why is Houck dragging this into a 5th book? What else could possibly happen? Oh God. Please, no time travel. It makes me so mad. Authors do it to fix things they didn't like in the previous book. This series should have ended with the first book. Like, HELLO! SHE GOT MARRIED! HOUCK CLEAED EVERYTHING UP AND TIED UP ALL THE LOSE ENDS!
I just don't understand. I'm still going to get it of course, no matter how stupid it is. I loved Kishian. I LOVED HIM. WHY KELSEY, DID YOU BREAK HIS HEART INTO A THOUSAND TINY PIECES?
Sorry, sorry. You people probably think I'm crazy. Okay that was a stupid sentence. Of course I'm crazy. Just not in the psychotic sense of the word, just crazy about books.
There's no way to end this. So....... good bye, farewell, I hope this book doesn't suck.
Come on book cover!!!! Waiting patiently here (or maybe impatiently) I am soo excited!!!
November 24 2012
when is the release date?!?! I am tearing my hair out because of this! I'm gonna lose it...
*edit*
Can this book just be out already!? Ugh, the wait is killing me!
As of June 2nd 2015
Is this book even real? Like is this just a joke to get all us Tiger Saga enthusiasts excited for no reason?
It's been years of this book being announced. C'mon!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE EXIST!!!!
As of March 23rd 2017
So I read on the authors blog (or maybe Twitter) that she is finally working on this book. She just wanted to finish the Reawakened trilogy first. I cannot wait for this book next year!!
Updated 1/19/2019: Tiger’s Dream is not what I expected but still worth the read. Stranded in a time and place he never wanted, Kishan must carry out his destiny by helping the goddess Durga. However the task does not come easy as he must face the truth about the girl he loves and the brother who won her heart. When the shaman Phet arrives and informs Kishan that Kelsey needs him, Kishan races to save her only to discover that the curse they all thought was over was only the beginning. As time shifts all around her, Kishan realizes that the fate of those he loves are in his hands. With the goddess’s power in the balance, Kishan is given no choice but to give a sacrifice in order to fight against the dark forces that threaten the woman he swore to protect and learns to discover and accept his destiny. Tiger’s Dream is filled with character development, choices, developing romance, confusing time travel, acceptance, and heartbreak.
Stranded in the past and role he never wanted, Kishan is forced to be the tiger of the Goddess Durga as Anamika is forced to be the Goddess. When the shaman Phet returns, revealing his true shelf to be someone no one thought to be and informs Kishan that Kelsey needs help Kishan races to save her. However, Kishan discovers that he and Anamika must not only ensure certain events but create the tiger curse. As Kishan revisits the past, he unknowingly aids in situations that comes to full circle of his and those he loves’ futures. Kishan also needs the help of Anamika to ensure that some events of the past happen to ensure that his, Ren and Kelsey’s paths and destiny are connected for the future.
After a mistake is made, the power of the goddess and the timeline is put at risk leaving Kishan to save Anamika before everything falls apart forever. However, he needs to make a sacrifice, endures pain and suffering and understands to accept his destiny. After truly accepting his role as Durga’s tiger and saving Anamika, they return to their mission to ensuring the creation of the tiger curse, certain events and places that the trio will have to face. During their journey, Kishan and Anamika continue to grow closer together after accepting their roles and learning of a past that neither of them knew they shared. As they continue to check off what they need to do, the more Kishan grows and accepts his destiny and embraces his future with Anamika.
Kishan is struggling to adjust to his new life. He is longing for the life he wanted with Kelsey, wishing it was different and even going back and forward with the life of changing their pasts so that he could end up with her instead of Ren. This kind of thinking got old fast. However, he grew up compared to when he first met him. Anamika is also struggling but at least she is making an attempt. We learn about Anamika’s past and I feel for her what happened to her in her youth. Their relationship is what you expected because of their forced roles that led to fights and eventually into a friendship. It is obvious that they are attracted to each other and it took them forever to admit that they had feelings for each other. For the moments that they did have, it got very, very heated.
Overall Tiger’s Dream was slow but good. I’m trying not to be offensive because I do love this series but I felt like this book was unnecessary. It wasn’t what I expected but it was still worth the read in a way. We do get some of the answers to the questions that weren’t answered in Tiger’s Destiny and learn some other things that were actually a surprise. However, be prepared for the book is long and Kishan and Anamika will revisit every place from the past books and meet past characters including new places that are connected to them as they have their own quest. I hate time travel. It was so confusing and freaking just how much of a role Kishan and Anamika had to play during certain events and how important it was that they ensured that those events had to happen so that other events could happen. This book was more of a character development for Kishan than an adventure. The ending was heartbreaking and WTF kind of ending was that! So I’m considering Tiger’s Destiny as the series finale for two reasons, one because I feel that Tiger’s Dream was unnecessary and I liked the ending to Tiger’s Destiny better.
Update 10/9/2017: It has a cover! It has a cover! IT HAS A COVER!
I have loved this series so much and although Kishan didn't get his happily ever after, I felt like the story was complete. I can't say how excited I was for Kishan to hopefully find his happy, but I was a little surprised about the process it took to get there.
I loved getting to know the goddess Durga better. Also known as Anamika (or Ana or Mika), her story is fascinating, heart breaking, and gripping and learning of her past really helped me grow to adore her on a more human level. Of course, I've loved Kishan all along, but his journey rooted him into my heart even more and with a deeper admiration.
I guess I should touch on my issue. I thought that most things were wrapped up and I didn't always like going back in time to relive situations, especially with this book being over 800 pages long. If things worked out with other characters, why mess with it?
I don't care that all the loose strings were tied up in Tigers Destiny, I just can't get enough of Ren and Kelsey. I loved all the books and I think Tigers Dream is going to be an extended epilogue. I just hope Colleen doesn't mess up the entire series by battling to fulfill a number of books requirement. I don't want it to be a what-if book but I do want to know more about whether they see Mr. Kadam.... Ren and Kelsey are amazing but I don't want them to become a Fairytale couple or a tragedy in the last book. Tigers Destiny met all my requirements for a spectacular ending to a spectacular series unlike A Series of Unfortunate Events, Maximum Ride, and even Percy Jackson. Those of you have read the last one know that the twists were amazing and exciting in the end but the rest of the book was a let down because it was rushed and a bit off topic. I love the rest of the books in all three of those series (except for the last two in maximum ride which seemed to be dragging out the end and leading to a much less than satisfactory conclusion). It was as if I was reading a Haddix book. I was hooked on Turn About until the ending left me writhing. It just wasn't a conclusion, no real solid conclusion. I know I'm rambling but I tend to be opinionated so let me know if you agree.
What a waste of a such a lovely story , i wish the character's had been flushed out a little more, and the heroine was stronger, the story line was truly phenomenal but completely ruined with the most annoying heroine ever. It was almost like half way through the author herself got bored with it, jeez this heroine makes me want to apologize for being a women.Such a waste of such a beautiful story line. After the first book it was almost like the book was written while watching Santa Barbara and bold and the beautiful( Soap operas of the 90's) !!!! or too many Bollywood movies ( North-Indian version of Hollywood). All that was missing was running around trees singing .
Release date of 2015?!?! Is this like a repeat of George R.R. Martin...vague release dates for a year or two and then BAM! Release date in two more years...wow. This is a fantastic series...I'm just venting. But the first three books were released in 2011, the fourth in 2012. I wonder why the long wait for the last book. Or is it the last book? Please tell me it's not a case of the publisher begging for more of an already finished series. Anyone?
Talvez o meu maior erro tenha sido acreditar que esse livro me ajudaria a lembrar o quanto amo a série. Mas, infelizmente, não foi isso que aconteceu. Obrigado por NADA!
I admit I was very curious about this book and had been for a few years now. I’ve finished the fourth book a long time ago, right after it was released and I thought it seemed so ‘end-ish’ and there couldn’t possibly be another book describing another ending but apparently, I was wrong.
If I said the past 4 books were painful, then I take back my words. This is so far the most painful book among the five. I have always loved Kishan due to his quiet, but attentive nature. Sometimes I feel more drawn to him than to his brother although his brother stole the spotlight most of the time. I am happy that Kishan got the happiness he deserved but with this book, came another heartbreak. I never handled deaths well, even when they are deaths of fictional characters and for me this book was really hard to read. It opened my eyes to unseen things in the past four books and my views shifted on the heroes of the story. I have always thought Ren was the hero to the story if not Kelsey. Everyone else were just extra characters to spice up the story. I did not imagine the gravity of the pain and responsibility Mr.Kadam and Kishan had to go through. My heart breaks for them, for Mr. Kadam who had to once again watch his family die one by one, of Kishan, who despite had felt his share of happiness, still felt alone in his last remaining days and of Ren who had to watch his wife leave him first. I don’t know if this book is the closure I needed. I felt like the fourth book was the ending I truly want. But nonetheless, I do not regret reading this book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
It's been so long since I read the last book. And this book? It's SO long. It took me days to read it. 800+ pages! It should really count as four books at least. Seriously!! This book is a saga all unto itself.
It was awesome to delve back into the Tiger's world. I loved this series and I always, always wished for happier things for Kishan. This book wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was awesome and I loved how this book was all over the place- connecting dots you had no idea were there. I loved the back story for the Goddess Durga and the ever growing tension between Kishan and Durga (Ana). It was making me crazy. So many times I just wanted to yell and shake my fists. ha. My heart broke a few times (I guess that happens in multiples when a book is this long!).
This series MUST be read in order. It's fantasy romance with time travel and adventure. I have loved it and I'm so grateful for the closure this book brought.
