I became confused at first while reading this book. Is this author supporting the feminist movement, or against it? Later she seems to stress the importance of being feminine under the God given role of femininity.

I liked the book. I would say I learned to show my girls... my kids how to work through their emotions. Talk through it. One thing the author mentioned was to teach our daughters to not look at men as answers to money or to problems. That resonated with me. I see that alot around me. To be honest I was raised that way.

This is a very good for women that want to help/influence people around them to make the right choices in ways that impact their communities for good.
I also love the concept of "emerging femininity"which is a blend of Traditionalism and liberalism worldviews, with Christ at the helm of my life.
Very good book.

Read this book with a bunch of girlfriends-- thought some of it was a little too cliche and meant for suburban soccer moms, also found other parts very challenging and inspiring. Helped me to feel less alone in the wide world of "mid twenties".

I thought this book was great to promote discussion. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to just read on your own, but in a group I thought it was great.
