2.5 to maybe 3 stars, it was okay but not much really happened. It was mostly a setup book and not really a great plot/story. The characters were okay and likable, the writing was okay but nothing great but the main issues is your waiting the whole book for something cool to happen and you never really great it. You get some things explained in the end but it did not do much for me. I am on the fence if I will continue with this series even tho it had some potential.

I received Cursed from the author in exchange for an honest review, but that doesn't change my thoughts at all.

I really liked Cursed by Grace White because there was a bit of mystery and intrigue for it. I knew something was going on that was beyond the whole "she's a witch" plot, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it and was surprised with the reveal when it came.

I liked the idea that this was in a college setting too and am definitely looking forward to book number two because I think that will have more of a plot. The book was a little bit slow to get into at first, but the short chapters made it fly by so it wasn't REALLY slow. (It may have just been my book slump that I'm in.) I can't wait to see where we go with the rest of the series. I actually don't have an opinion on the romance part quite yet, I actually enjoyed the rest of the plot more. I almost finished this book in one sitting, which was saying something at the time since no other book is sticking to me at the moment.

This book was a four out of five for me.

This was a little disappointing, but if the intriguing aspects of the story are realized in the next book(s), I might be inclined to bump this to 2.5 stars.

Overall, CURSED had a sort of gentle, delicate, intimate feel which I liked. And the idea of Gaia, Eros, the Chosen and the threats to the Earth I liked. The fact that it was set in college, and not young teens in high school I liked. So there were positives to the story. It was also cleanly written, and the characterizations were solid enough, even in this first book, that I felt a connection to the characters. Particular to the MC, Terra. I felt like I was in her head.

And therein lay the first of my two biggest problems with this book - and why I didn't ultimately enjoy it much. Terra was a timid, insecure, indecisive, wishy-washy doormat. And being stuck in her head through all of her vacillations I found very uncomfortable. The only saving grace is that, by the end, she seemed to be finding herself. At least a very little. Hopefully that trend will continue, and more quickly, in the next book. But it made it hard to like Terra.

The second problem I had with the book, once the story started to develop and the reasons everything was happening started to become clear, was that the author had too heavy a hand. It became rather preachy. And I really hope that does not remain the case as the story unfolds. I hope the social message contained in the plot is allowed to be intuited as an adjunct to the story, instead of the author battering the reader with their "message". We shall see. Jury is still out.

All in all, I will read the next book, because I want to see what happens. And it was short enough for that not to be a chore. But I can't really recommend this to others as things currently stand.

UPDATE PROGRESS NOTES:
69.0% "*groan*...come on doormat, you said you didn't want to go and now you are just giving in?"

67.0% "I'm wanting to like this book. I'm trying to like it. But Terra is just so... sooo...

What is with so many RH characters being timid, indecisive, wispy doormats? Why is that a thing? It's very irritating being stuck in the head of someone who... waffles so much."

24.0% "*sigh* Well, Terra is certainly insecure, shy, and timid. Stutteringly so."

16.0% "Well, apparently we have another one of those MC's here who is so lost and socially awkward and stuck in her head that she can't seem to put together a coherent thought. At least this one seems gentle and kind of sweet."

9.0% "Uh...her eyes are a pale lilac with a shimmering swirl pattern?!"

2.0% "Despite this starting with the usual MC deep in her grief over a loss, I am already liking it better than the last one. So we shall see."

Compelling start to a brand new saga...

I make no secret of the fact that reverse harem is one of my favourite types of book to read... there is nothing better than knowing, or at least hoping, that when the final page is turned the girl will get all the guys... add to that a young adult/paranormal story created by the alter ego of one of my newly discovered favourite authors and this book was always going to be a must read for me...

The original premise deals with weighty topics of loss, and isolation but underpinning all of this is humour and the first tentative steps towards a sweet but complicated love story and a future where Terra, ‘the girl who feels the world’, will be thrust centre stage as secrets and revelations come to light....

I really was immediately drawn to Terra, who is quirky she has a strange perspective on life and her voyage of personal discovery is full of false starts and misunderstandings..and as for the men....they all different and their response to the events playing out so disparate... these are realistic and relatable complex characters who are intriguing as individuals but as a whole have the potential to be addictive...

I love this author’s voice both fluent and expressive..... this book is very much concerned with setting the scene, developing the characters and establishing the complex relationships and as such it is rather short on action and plot development; that said what has been created is an alternative universe carefully described and utterly believable....and now the world has been built and the inhabitants within it placed I look forward to seeing where this fascinating story leads...

This is a promising start to a brand new saga which I can not wait to embark on ...If I have one word of caution for the author it would be this...by and large RH fans, like myself, are a picky bunch...they don’t like cheating among the cohort and no matter where the drama takes the heroine and her men, in the end, they all need to be together in their happy ever after.... this book was reviewed for Summer’s Eve Reads...

So far so good.
I did not read enough of it to be able to form any sort of concrete opinion on the story (meaning it was short). But as much as there was to read, I liked.
An interesting concept for the story, plus the characters all seemed to be pretty interesting. For anything other than that, I'll have to read the next book.

Great World Building

What great writing! This book is just full of little nuggets of world building on each and every page. I honestly had no clue what was coming next and stayed hooked the whole time. Incredible world building, great characters, and story that will keep you wanting more. If you are looking for a great slow burn paranormal reverse harem romance novel then this is the book for you. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

It is a 0.99 book that is intriguing but too short and too fast paced and therefore I simply cannot put a total 3. However, this feeling of intrigued is starting to make me think of reading the next one.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cursed (The Gaia Chronicles #1) by Grace White.

Release date 5th March 2018

I received an advanced copy of this book from the Author; thank you, I really enjoyed this book.

From the start this book is catchy with the first line being ‘todays the worst day of my life’ it was intriguing, compelling me to carry on reading. However, I will point that this book is more of a build up and back story for the rest of the series; the story pace is a bit slow but takes off about 60% through, so it’s worth sticking with it.

The beginning with the death of the Main Characters grandmother I could definitely relate to as I have recently in the last 7 weeks buried 2 of my own grandparents. The scenes of grief were well written and I could empathise with these.

The main character Terra Matherson is an unusual girl with powers to ‘feel the world’ this in turn makes her reclusive; she comes across to others as odd. After the death of her parents she moves in with her grandmother on an isolated farm; she cares for her sick grandmother, postponing her college education. Upon her grandmothers death she finds out her grandmother had enrolled her into college. She attends college a year late and meets 4 boys and makes several friends. One of which is Amalia a female down mate and witch; I’m torn on what’s going on here, is Amalia good/bad or clueless? I like to think she’s not evil and perhaps naive.

I don’t want to give too much away as I think it’s worth reading the book and finding out for yourselves; so I won’t go into the story and spoil it.

My favourite character is probably a toss up between Endo and Ross; one being temperamental and fiery the other quiet and thoughtful. Best of both worlds if you ask me; mash them together and you get a perfect man!

I liked Terra as a character but am not sure I see her as this Earth goddess she’s suppose to be; did she lose too much of herself being reborn? The vision of Gaia makes Terra seem out of character.

I’m not sure I liked the ending, probably because it ended and I wanted to read more!

I loved the book and the concept; I’m looking forward to seeing how the story plays out in book 2. I’m left with plenty of questions are the witches Violet and co bad? Why did the boys lie to her? Why is she on Earth? Why was she reborn? So many questions that I look forward to seeking answers too in the next instalment.

I’m giving this book 4/5 purely because it was a slow build.

Terra Materson is the girl who feels the world. She feels the history and the pain of the very earth. Different, she is shunned by her classmates as a young girl, even her parents didn't understand her. When they died Terra went to live with her Grandmother on her farm and found the one person who understood her, told her that her abilities were a gift, not a curse, and taught her how to control them. But now her Grandmother has died and Terra is all alone in the world. Although she might be gone, Terra's Grandmother still knew what she needed and enrolled her in college, Terra's dream college, Atchison. Terra immediately feels at home there but also unsettled. There are things going on around her that she doesn't understand. There are boys there who confuse her. She has no real experience with boys but she still doesn't understand why she feels so strongly, feels a bond with four boys on campus. When the truth starts to be revealed it seems so unreal but also feels right. They all have a role to play but what is it exactly? And what are they meant to be to one another?

I like Terra. Isolated and fearful of people, she's definitely more comfortable alone with nature. As her story is revealed this makes perfect sense. Her circumstances led me to feel very protective of her. I have mixed feelings about the guys. Cael the whirlwind, social, easy-going. Ross, the artist, (my personal favorite), spiritual, quiet with the depth of the ocean. Fiery, hot-tempered, passionate Endo. Sol, (my least favorite) the grounded boy who seems to push Terra at every turn. I understand their role. I understand their decisions. However, it still feels like a betrayal. Terra was lied to, manipulated even, she was hurt. There had to be a better way. Now I question the boys and their supposed feelings for Terra. They knew exactly what was going through her head so they had to be aware of what they were doing. And who is Violet to them? I don't trust them at this point. Much will need to change before I can accept Terra with them.

I admit I loved this book. It ended way too soon for me. It was original, entertaining. I have so many questions. Violet, of course, how do the witches fit into everything, can Amalia be trusted, what is up with Jesse, is Henry dangerous? I need more, more, more.

Okay, so it has been established now that Grace White can write books that I wholeheartedly enjoy. I
am always so nervous to go outside of my comfort zone, but after reading the Lilituria Phrophecy and enjoying it so much, I am so excited to have another series from this author, and the first book in the Gaia Chronicles did not disappoint!

In this book we meet Terra Materson, who has always known there was something 'different' about herself. She is in touch with the feelings of those around her, she can connect with the environment on a spiritual level but doesn't really understand it. The only person to ever really understand her and not look at her like she's different was her Grandmother. Everyone else avoided her and kept a wider berth.

Having spent the last couple of years living with her Grandmother, things have now changed and she has found herself starting a new chapter of her life at Atchison College.

And it is here that things start to get interesting for Terra! Once she is at the college she finally feels like she is home, exactly where she is supposed to be and feels a connection with the place that she can't understand. But as time goes on and she meets more new people, things start to unravel and certain discoveries are made. But is she ready to know the truth...?

As she meets, Ross, Endo, Cael and Sol, coming a friendship of sorts with each of them, things get stranger and clearer all at once. With a friendship also being formed with Amalia from her dorm house, everyone seems to be vying for Terra's attention. But for what purpose?

I loved the interaction with Terra and the 4 guys. I loved their connections but also their personalities as real people too. I can't wait to see how these friendships develop and where this story is going to lead us. The concept of the entire story is interesting and intriguing and I cannot wait until April for the next book!

A real page turned which I devoured in a day!! I have high hopes for this series and hopefully lot of opportunity to answer all the questions I have!

Terra Materson grew up knowing she was different. She feels things she shouldn’t . . .like the feelings of the natural elements that surround her and make up the world. Ostracized as a child by others due to what they felt were odd behaviors, she was all too happy to move to her grandmother’s remote home when her parents died where she isolated herself from society as she basked in her grandmother’s love and acceptance of her gift.

When her grandmother dies, she gives Terra one last gift . . . admission into Atchison College. She’s ready to learn to live in society again on her terms and from the moment Terra steps on campus, it feels familiar to her in ways she can’t understand. She also finds herself drawn to four separate guys with personalities as different as possible. They seem to call to her and she senses their personalities match the four elements that her gift has had her in tune with her entire life.

The more Terra explores, the more she begins to learn the answers she has sought her entire life. But is she truly ready to know the truth of who she really is? Terra finds herself on the cusp of an incredible journey with Ross, Cael, Sol and Endo that while it begins to make sense to her, is also beyond anything she ever could have imagined.

I found Cursed to be absolutely unique and spellbinding! I couldn’t wait for Terra to begin learning more about her gift as she was fed clues by the four guys she met when she arrived on campus. There is so much going on and happening in her life and it is such a time of transition for this character that I immediately felt invested in what was happening with her and wanted to know more about how she fits with Sol, Endo, Cael and Ross and how the four of them work together as well.

This book is only the tip of the iceberg and sets up what I can only hope is a phenomenal young adult fantasy and adventure series. The ending is not a cliffhanger, but definitely left me wanting the next book right now! 5 stars!

Read other books from this author in the future: yes

Cursed begins with the funeral of Terra's grandmother, who died of cancer. As a farewell gift, grandma helps Terra to get a place at a college where she wanted to study.
After years of isolation Terra starts to study and meets many people who are interested in her because they feel great magical abilities of Terra. Only Terra doesn't know what she is. In the course of the book she is reunited with four students she knows from a previous life. Slowly it becomes clear how they are all connected with each other.
At first I found the book confusing because it is not quite clear how many groups there are who have magical powers and who are the good and the bad. I had read it within a day, but it didn't captivate me so much that I had to buy the three following books at once. At the moment I am still thinking whether they will read. Mainly my indecisiveness is due to the mythology topic, which is not my favourite.

Deutsche Rezension:

**This review may contain spoilers.**

I'm not even sure where to start with this book!

Terra is not your average girl.
Being able to feel the pain of the world, well the Earth, is a huge burden to carry.
Everyone thinks you're a freak and forming relationships is hard.
It's why Terra decided it was easier to isolate herself away from everyone, but her grandmother.
However, after her Gran passes, she learns she applied to college for Terra.
And she was accepted.
Starting life anew at college is supposed to be a fresh start for Terra.
Learn how to be more open and not have others so quick to judge.
While college is a new experience, it's not exactly the one she had in mind.

I LOVED the concept of this story.
I think it was fun and interesting.
I haven't read many books that base their foundation on a character being Mother Earth.
Much less her being a college student.

I felt like Terra was a pretty developed character.
However, her encounters with the guys seemed to be lacking.
I didn't feel the tension build between them.
The spark that was supposed to be between them whenever they are near to one another.
I would have loved to see more build between Terra and her guys.

While the book is called Curse, and I can kind of see where the title came from, I think it is a bit misleading.
Maybe it is just me overanalyzing things, but didn't feel as if it went with the story.
I kind of had a different idea in mind after seeing the title. name.
But this has no weight on my opinion on the book.
Just a musing on my part.

I did like the story though, and I'm curious to see what will happen in the next book.
I felt it ended with a bit of a cliffhanger.
Some big things were revealed which left you with a few questions lingering.

I would recommend this book.
I think it is interesting and has a cool plot line.

* I am voluntarily reviewing complimentary Advance Readers Copy of this book. All of the thoughts and opinions that are expressed below are completely and totally %100 percent mine, and I have not been compensated in any way for this review.*

I thought this book was a really promising start to a series, and really my only complaint was the fact that it went SO fast, and was SO short. Seriously, I read this book in just a few hours, and just when things were getting interesting BAM it's over, and now I have to impatiently wait for the second book

It had a unique plot that I have not read a thousand times over, and all the characters are interesting and I want to get to know them all better. I definitely see how Terra will be able to grow and come out of her shell a little more, especially now that she's friends with the boys, and learning more about her powers and what they mean. And I'm also excited to be able to get to see her stand up for herself more, and she gains confidence in herself.

I liked Terra, and how relateable she felt to me. She's a shy, and a little bit insecure, but when she knows what she wants she can't be swayed.

The boys were... Uh... *SWOON*

Yes, they were amazing and drool-worthy. I'm not sure what I think about Sol, but the others have definitely won my heart several times over.

I liked how they all had their little moments with Terra, and how nothing felt rushed

There is some romance, but in this book, it takes a definite backseat to everything else that is happening (which is fine, it allows you to get to know the characters before things get hot and heavy)

I am super super excited for this series, and to see what happens next. There were a few plot twists that I didn't see coming, but now I'm curious to see where that takes the story in the next book.

Look, we all know there are formulas that are followed by types of books, but writing is an art form; you can't just plug elements of a story in and come out the other side with a great piece of writing. Unfortunately White just hits the elements without taking the time develop the world and the people. I can't tell you the names of the characters because I didn't form any connection to them. There are four guys and you have the briefest of moments with them both as the reader and in their interactions with each other, yet White will randomly throw things out there about things not being physical or the guys flirting with her, only those things didn't happen in the material that was actually provided to the reader.

Additionally, the book is suppose to be set in college, but everything about it reads like high school. Its as though White didn't want to bother with having meddling adults, so rather than having inattentive private school patrons she set the story in a magical college where every single student, freshman through senior, lives in student dorms, have schedules that look identical to high school bell schedules and nothing like a college schedule, everyone knows everyone like in a small private high school, there is a mean girl like in high school, and there is a school supported prank war,you guessed it, like high school.

The book isn't rife with abundantly clear grammar or continuity errors that take you away from what story there is, so if you are desperate for a paranormal reverse harem you can get by on thus, just don't expect to be enthralled by the story or incapable of setting it down.

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
This book was nothing like I expected. It was so much better than I could have thought. It starts off slow and finally builds to more Drama and secrets than you could ever imagine. When starting this book, make sure you give the book about 5 chapters and then it starts to pick up.
Terra has grown up knowing she was different but never really knew what it was. When Terra's parents died, she moved in with her grandmother and cared for her until she passed. I think her grandmother knows about Terra and never told her, but I don't quite understand why.
After her grandmothers death, she went off to college at the exact place she always wanted to go. Only there seems to be so much more to the reasoning behind this college...
At college, she meets 4 different guys. All of which she is attracted to and feels this pull. Only Terra doesnt realize what is happening at first. Cael, Endo, Sal, and Ross are the four men in Terra's life now. Each one is completely different and she feels a connection to each. Sal decided she needs to know and they cannot wait anymore. He puts her into this dream like state so she can remember what she has forgotten from being reborn.
I look forward to reading more about Terra learning her gifts and learning more about Cael, Endo, Ross, and Sal. This book left me wanting to read the next book in the series! Another great book by the talented Grace White!

I think this read is exactly that, an introduction. Nothing much has happened plot-wise but I can admit that I'm interested at what, where and how it intended to go from here on.

Again, since this is pretty much and intro, I still haven't made up my mind regarding the heroine, Terra. Before meeting the guys, I can say that I like her. But I got wary of her at the last few chapters. (Maybe 80% onwards).

She got...a little wishy-washy. She couldn't decide for herself if she wanted space or wanted to barge through the guys head-on. Though, there was indeed a time when she wanted to know more. I would have liked for her to continue that line.

The guys. I have a lot of questions and frustrations directed at them as a group. I wasn't really sure why there was a need to distance themselves with Terra. The hot and cold behavior from them and push and pull treatment they have going on. And they keep telling Terra she's not ready or she wouldn't understand or it wasn't like that. Um, why did they all approached her in the first place if those guys didn't want to ease things on her? And even when they 'tried' to answer Terra's questions, they pretty much gave her non-answers or incorrect answers. Smh.

But anyway, as I've said before, I am interested to know what happens next. The concept seemed really interesting. Hopefully, the characters will grow out of this funk.

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from Lady Amber's PR*

I bounced between a 3 and 3.5 for this. I enjoy the author's YA/NA works but this one felt more like a prequel for an awesome series. Terra is a straight-laced girl who's known hardships and heartache, and going to her dream college is supposed to help. But a lot of things are more than they appear, and some may be too much for Terra to handle.

I enjoyed Terra. She was cautious, but curious, and tried to do things out of her comfort zone. I appreciated that. The guys she ran into were cool because you don't really know which one is representing what element. Some were obvious, others weren't. And then you had the other people who got involved with Terra. At times I found myself hoping she'd stand up for herself and their pushiness, and I liked that she at least tried. I didn't think I got enough college life, cause there was a really good thing going with what the dorms do. Her time with the guys were brief, and I wish she'd seen them just a little more before it all got serious and she started railing them. When it ended, I was left a little wanting but again, it wasn't bad, just felt more like a prequel.

This was an interesting book that left me with some questions, but definitely awaiting book 2.
Terra is different. She can sense the earth and know its pain. After the death of her grandmother, her only relative, Terra leaves her home to go to college, a school she was planning on attending a year before, until her grandmother got sick.
When she arrives on campus she meets several guys at different times, all whom she feels some kind of connection to. She also meets a girl, her dorm RA, who senses power in her and introduces her to the world of witches.
At the end of the book, Terra finds out what she really is and who the guys are to her.
There wasn't a ton of actual romance in the book. Well, Terra does get close to some of the guys individually, but they don't seem to be really close with each other in the end, and are kind of at odds after the revelations dropped on Terra.
Overall it was a good story that I enjoyed reading. I just think for me it was missing a little something. There was no super awesome wow factor that made me fall in love, but this book definitely drew me in and I will be reading the next book. Hopefully with book two I will be drawn further into the story, and the guys will come together and develop further relationships with Terra.

I’ve always liked the idea and myths around Gaia, plus I’m a huge mythological fan, especially Ancient Greek, so I really enjoyed this unique take on some of those myths. Also, it’s a slow burn Reverse Harem; what more could you want?

Terra provided a great POV into her world, where she feels nature, feels Earth. And the guys were a great representation of their elements. Of course with a name like Terra - which is Latin for Earth - and her connection to the world, the revelations in the book come as no surprise. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, as White’s style of writing is very enjoyable in itself, just don’t be expecting to be left guessing anything.

Set in college, with Terra being 19, Cursed certainly has the YA/NA feel. YA is not my favourite genre as normally the pages are full of angst. But not so here. While Terra has her issues and poor me moments, she breaks free of this easily to become quite a likeable character. The guys are not your typical YA men either, they actually come across more mature (as they should be).

Cursed did feel more like a serial than a full novel - took me around an hour to read - and the story arc felt as though it was only just getting off the ground. But it was an enjoyable read and I have already preordered book 2.

Wow what a book! This is an amazing story. It is so well
written so thought through and just read so well. I just could
not put the book down.

This book is about Terra and her four elements. She is
devastated after her grandmother's passing but even more
surprised when she receives an envelope from her
grandmother sending her to college. And that is where she
meets for wonderful young men she drawn to them but she
doesn't understand why. She's only felt this before from the
earth from the winds from the trees she feels the Earth. But
now she feels it from them and she was so confused. But
when one of them kisses her, and then she starts seeing all
these images or are the memories. Oh are you going to be
surprised who she really is. I am so ready for the next book.
I'm so glad it comes out soon if it's the time you read this get

it you are going to want to read the rest of the story.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too

I was really fascinated with the concept of this series so I knew I had to try it out. I was not disappointed!

Terra has always felt different. Her parents never understood her and her childhood was hard as others teased her. It is not till she goes to live with her grandmother that she feels a sense of home. Her grandmother encourages her to trust her abilities and let the world in, literally for Tessa as she can feel life itself around her. Her grandmother wanted her to continue on with her life after she was gone, so although her grandmother's death is hard, Tessa is happy to find that she will be attending Atchinson College. There she starts to feel like she can open up and belong. It helps that there are four very attractive men who she feels a strong connection with, Cael, Endo, Ross and Sol. She also makes some friends who turn out to have some abilities of their own. I am extremely intrigued to find out what this series has in store. Book 1 really was just the introduction of this world and who Tessa actually is, I hope that Book 2 will delve even more into what Tessa needs to do to save the world and her relationship with the four.

Cursed is the first book in a new paranormal series called The Gaia Chronicles. Terra Materson is a nineteen year old young woman who just lost her last family member. Her grandmother just passed away from cancer and she lost both her parents when she was 13 years old. Terra has always felt so different from others, she could always feel everything around her from trees, nature, water, air, etc. Her parents didn't understand her but her Grandmother did and she was so supportive. Now she's alone and her grandmother set up for her to go to college which was her dream.

Terra hasn't really associated much with other people. She's felt too different and people have always treated her like she was. She starts at Atchison College and she meets some people. But she feels really connected to four different guys and she doesn't understand that at all. She's trying to figure out what she is and why she feels so much.

Worth reading and definitely looking forward to finding out more about Terra and her world.

Has potential

I was intrigued by the blurb saying this book is a reverse harem book. The only other book I’ve read with that description is CL Stones Academy series and I love those books. So I wanted to see how this book measured up. It was good.
Terra is a shy girl who has a lot of hurt and heartbreak in her past. The four guys come into her life little by little showing her more of her powers.
It is kinda repetitive, especially the parts where Terra keeps describing the four Hs personalities. She described them once, no need to do it again in the next chapter or paragraph..
The book is very short, so it left me with too many questions which I’m definitely want answers to in the next book.

All in all, this book was different and has me very intrigued. Enough to get the second book coming in two days. Hopefully the author doesn’t drag the story into too many books in the series.

The concept behind this book is so intriguing and original and initially I was unsure if I would like it but it really was a great book to read. Terra feels the earth and has been isolated most of her life when her grandmother dies and she goes to college. Here she discoverers who she really is and she meets 4 guys. You can really feel for Terra as she feels different to everyone and no one seems to understand her! All the gifts feel the connection to Terra, but I have to admit that Sol is my least favourite and he can act like a dick! Ross has to be the best out of them all st the moment. I can’t wait to read more of this series and really see where it goes! I absolutely love the different POV in the story as this really helps the reader have a deeper understanding into all the characters. Great start and am excited for book 2!!

This was a great quick read. very much enjoyed this book. Loved the Mother Earth concept don't see that out there much.
Terra is such a great character. I love how much she came out of her shell and grew as an adult. It was refreshing to have a main character of YA feel mature and not come off as a whiny teenager, as they so often do.
Her guys are all swoon worthy...especially Sol... I think I found my new book boyfriend. I just love the brooding alpha type.
I wish there would have been more interaction between her and all the guys together as a group. The secrets they were keeping kept them apart and in the end left her feeling betrayed. Ugh 😒 guys are dumb. And they still left so much unsaid in the end.
This first book left so many things unknown, I can't wait to find out more on book 2

I received a free ARC and have voluntarily given an honest review.

A mythical read!

It isn't easy being the girl who feels the world...
Finding out the truth is never easy...

Right away, without getting into the heart of the story and without any answers, I already became emotionally invested in this read - I knew that I would not be able to stop reading once I started. And here I am up way past midnight because I just finished this magnificent book and now I am writing my review but it was and indeed it was worth it.

Reveals were made. Truths came out. Connections were made. So many things happened in this a short time that my head is spinning. I cannot wait for the next book because I need to know what will happen next - I have so many questions that need answers to.

Full of secrets, mystery, elements, witches, goddesses, tension, lies, betrayal, truths and love.

Perfect for readers of reverse harem urban fantasy romances.

I’m going to admit, more often than not I pick up a book to read without ever looking at what it’s about or who it’s written by. This was one of those times. I just liked the cover, remembered seeing it around the FB book groups I’m a part of and thought why the hell not. So glad I did, this was an extremely well written book with great well developed characters that had distinct personalities, and it has an original storyline. I’m so excited to finish reading this series, because let’s face it that last chapter left me with more questions and a huge desire to get them answered! Grace White had me sucked in from the very start and kept me engaged and curious throughout the entire story. Can’t wait to find out what happens next for Terra and her guys, and how the whole elements thing plays out!
