I love Terry's Dragons - every single one!
Steel -
There are only a few things I enjoy better than a new Terry Bolryder dragon book. This new series let's us get to know the metal dragons. The New York dragons (Double Dragons, Desired by Dragons, and Destined Dragons) were paired and each color had a different power (healing, durability, precog, etc.). The Awakened dragons (Onyx, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, Amethyst, and Emerald) brought us bigger and badder dragons. Now the Rent-Dragons are here and they are quite metal. First I want to say, is that you don't need to read the two previous series to read this series but if you want to get the background scoop on Aegis (my all time freakin' favorite dragon) Opal, and Citrine, you will want to read the Awakened Dragon series.
Aegis has been assigned by the Oracle to help the metal dragons integrate into modern society with the hope that they will find a mate and have a reason to join the battle of good vs evil (of course on the good side). It's Citrine's idea to put these handy dragons to work and hopefully, meet there mates while being kept busy, out of trouble, and out of Aegis' hair. Liam, Titus, and Magnus have some different powers and abilities but they are still giant, overprotective, marshmallows when it comes to their mates. I loved this intro to a new series and cannot wait to see what the author has in-store for this new batch of dragons and of course I have my fingers crossed for more Aegis.
I want to thank the author for offering these books in the Amazon Kindle Unlimited program (as I usually borrow as soon as they become available). I also received an advanced copy from the author. I will also purchase this series if the author graciously bundles them up in a box set like she did for the New York and Awakened Dragons (available for 99¢ each - an awesome bargain).
Iron -
Terry's dragons never disappoint. Magnus and Lindy are both grease monkeys and have so much in common that there is no doubting that these two were meant for each other. I love the inclusion of the pets (the gemstone dragons have their kitties and no the metal dragons' mates have their puppies) and that the dragons treat them well. Even though I love getting to know a new metal dragon, I love it even more when we get more Aegis (the Emerald gemstone dragon) - who seems to always steal the scenes he is in and makes me more enamored of the dragon that can literally make you play a game of "stop hitting yourself" (his words, not mine). With the new revelations in this book, maybe there will be something special in store for the precious metal dragons that we met in book #1 - Steel (I always have my fingers crossed for new dragon stories). Once again I cannot recommend Terry Bolryder's dragons strongly enough. Every single book is an entertaining read. Every dragon is a tall, handsome, well built, overprotective softie that will do anything for his mate
Titanium -
Terry Bolryder's dragons are always a must read for me. This is the third book in the Rent-A-Dragon series and even though you can read it as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the series on order (for better understanding). Titus and Bree are great and I loved Biff. The story is awesome and I could not put it down. As always, I eagerly await any glimpse of Aegis (the Emerald dragon from the Awakened Dragon series- a freakin' fantastic series) and the author has decided to bless him (and us) with more of his story in this book. With the new developments in this book, I am anxiously awaiting the nobles and can't wait to see their mates put them in their places.
