I absolutely loved this series. I had originally read the first story of Liam and Denise's and it has taken me a couple of years to finally read the rest. Next time I'm not gonna wait that long. Beautifully written. What the character's in each book go through and overcome can happen anywhere and everywhere but these stories are proof that you can overcome anything if you have the right person and family beside you.

The last novella in this set gets you started on the next set of characters in the next generation series.

Brought back a lot of memories

As an old man reading this (a friend recommended) I was thoroughly engaged in the characters and the club. Been there , done that applies. Great insider look at what are sometimes called outlaw clubs and yeah; there are a few of those around, but my Southern California roots many years ago reminded me of just how much like a family it really was. Thanks for the ride along down memory lane. Well done and well written.

If I didn't own the box set I wouldn't have continued with this series. The first couple of books showed promise even though they were a lot tamer than my usual MC books but that was as far as I would've went if I didn't already own them.

I like my MC books to be really gritty. I like the H to be tough and badass with everyone else but totally different with the h. I don't mind if he goes out on club business and kills or tortures the bad guys then comes home and is sweet and loving and gentle with her. I love that contrast. None of that happens in this series. There is no badassery, they are all sappy from the get go. They claim to be an outlaw MC but they don't do anything that would class them as that. There's no guns or drugs or anything. They do protection runs where they literally escort a lorry from point a to point b but that's it. It's mentioned that these don't always go to plan but we never see any of that action.

The bad guys are also really pathetic. They aren't tough or anyone to be feared (other than in 1 couple's situation) in one case...

SPOILER ALERT

The "bad guy" kidnaps a bunch of the women and holds them in a warehouse. Liam literally knocks on the door and just asks for them back and gets them! In any other MC book I've read the H would shoot him in the face as soon as he saw him and wouldn't think twice about it. At the very least he'd beat the living daylights out of him.

SPOILER OVER

The MC is really pathetic. They aren't a proper outlaw MC, they're a bunch of mechanics that ride bikes! They don't even have a bunch of club girls stirring up shit or a proper hierarchy, there's nothing that makes this an outlaw MC.

There are also so many inconsistencies and nonsense discussions/arguments. For example when they vote in book 1 on dealing with guns and doing protection runs Liam (VP) is not in favour but everyone else is. In book 2 the president is panicking because the others voted with Liam on it and he sees it as a sign that the MC is more loyal to Liam than him! But that's not what happened!

Then there is the fact that the constant therapy with Doc Jones is in every single book! Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for people seeking therapy. There is still too much stigma around it and I'm assuming the idea here was to try to normalise it so people would think "if it's OK for big bad bikers then it's OK for me"...except they're not big bad bikers! Not only that but, I'm not sure of the rules for other countries but in the UK there are still rules around it. If you tell your therapist you've murdered someone then they have a duty of care to report that to the authorities. You can't just tell your therapist you're breaking the law and they have to keep it confidential. I'm sure there are instances where they may not if the illegal activity was relatively minor or related to their reason for therapy and wasn't hurting anyone else (e.g. drug addition) but come on! Of a patient says they've killed someone, whether there were extenuating circumstances or not, that therapist would ordinary be required to report that.

Even if the therapist doesn't report anything and the patients find them trustworthy enough to recommend are we really supposed to believe that every member of the whole club and their families should then go for every little thing! Clearly some members needed it (I'm thinking Meredith and Layne, and maybe Tyler) but for all of them to go and keep going for decades?? I like my MC guys to be able to deal with that within the club. Given their lifestyle and the things that usually go on in these types of books they usually manage with the support of their brothers and the love of a good woman. It's not necessarily realistic but I don't expect it to be and it would certainly be more realistic than them all going and confessing all to one person. Imagine the power that person could have over the club if they decided to use it against them. Now luckily for them they're not a real MC so they don't really have many secrets to reveal but still!!

Anyway, if you like your MC romances to be on the extremely tame side then this series might appeal to you but if you are looking for something with more nitty gritty and baddass bikers then I'd swerve this one.

This was the equivalent of reading War and Peace twice + 2000 pages! But it was definitely worth it! All 10 books from the original series and nine Christmas novellas to fill in how they all were doing!

This is the best motorcycle club book I've ever read. The author didn't sugarcoat what the club was all about. I definitely didn't like some of the terms used for their ladies, but I have to assume they are correct.

Nothing detracts from the love stories and I loved the continuity of just going from one story to the next. Heaven Hill is the name of the MC Club; the location is Bowling Green, Kentucky. The first book is about Liam, the VP and son of the president and Denise Cunningham, a single mother of twins, who is on the brink of losing her home to foreclosure. An offer to help her, is something she isn't allowed to refuse, and so the story begins.

I purchased this book in 2018 and I'm sorry to say this version is no longer on Amazon, you can purchase the first 4 books as a bundle.

This series is definitely worth reading but, not if you hate profanity (there is a lot).

Complete 10 book Heaven Hill MC series. Each book told in dual POV with HEA. Each book about a different member of the motorcycle club and finding their HEA. The secondary characters are throughout the series, I loved reading their continuing story. There wasn’t a lot of violence, illegal activities, or OW / OM drama, which I was thankful for. Strong plot lines keep your interest and has some steam, but not a lot, I prefer more steamy times. Overall the theme is family first as each brother settled down with their HEA, some took MUCH longer than others. I would recommend this series to anyone who doesn’t like the extremely dark, hard core MC, as these guys aren’t afraid to talk about their feelings!

This boxset is the complete Heaven Hill MC series. Some of the stories were better and more interesting than others, some of them seemed to drag on a bit. Overall the boxset is a 3 star read.

If you are looking for gritty, raw and real MC stories, look elsewhere. This series, while it did deal with some sensitive issues, was pretty light on the MC part of the story. They mostly worked in a body shop and did some protection runs. Everyone seemed to get a patch pretty easily and the President and Vice President were counselors for everyone else, along with a woman Dr. who everyone seemed to need to seek therapy from.

Overall, enjoyable even though I did skim a bit here and there.

Fantastic!

What an amazing set of books! I don't care which book you read the characters will pull you in. They will become the friends you would like to have. Big alpha males who love their women and protect them at all costs. Women who make their men complete. This series is so amazing you will not be able to pick a favorite , they all special and touch different parts of your heart. A MUST READ!

Not the best, but..

It's the best, but it's certainly not the worse. Heaven Hill didn't reach the level I expect from my MC romances. The chemistry was hard to find and sometimes less is more. There so many times the author placed in unnecessary details. She would reword something she previously wrote making a very repetitive read.
Now I did like the camradarie between the members, but it was still a bit of a struggle to get through.

Omg!! I can’t believe I spent money on this series and then forced myself to read it all! Never again! This MC are pussies, if someone takes your family u dont let them live! U kill them! Wtf! There was errors and other shite as well, I missed a few paragraphs, the story kept going on and on about the same thing, I don’t like going round in circles and taking forever to get there.
Think I need a LOKI fix after that, arrrggghhhhhhhh!

If you are craving a good read, about hot bikers, then this series is it! Briscoe's character's may be alpha gruff, but they are all about their women. My favorite of the series is Book 4: Worth the Battle. Layne is seriously hot and Jessica is a romance writer. Perfect!! The series is very well edited and thought out! Excellent read from an excellent contemporary author!

I read these MC Romance books separately and after each one, wanted more. Laramie Briscoe has a great writing style that will captivate the reader and keep them engaged. The stories are all well-written, have steam, a good pace and are addictive. This series is reminiscent of Sons of Anarchy and very enjoyable. I loved them all.
