Perkins explores the question of reincarnation both from personal experience (he was hit by a car and clinically “died” but was revived) and from the perspective of occult knowledge gleaned mostly from the Theosophical Society, of which he was a former president.
I enjoyed this book when I first read it in my early 20s. This is not a “scientific” book and relies on first person experiences and a mystical understanding of hidden spiritual “kingdoms” existing in the subtle realms. There are no techniques given to help the reader “remember” their own past lives. It ultimately comes down to what you believe in!
