Out of this World

When Sabine a “space cadet” suddenly has a aortic tear while in space, “Eve” shows up and has her transported to Texas in the past. She has to pretend she is a boy at first and the draw she has to “Jack” is undeniable. He is part of her puzzle as predicted by Eve. Once she is able to tell Jack she is female he is so relieved because he was having some pretty weird feelings toward the boy he was protecting and was feeling crazy. This is a good yarn and I enjoyed reading it. The series is good and well written if even a little or a lot far fetched from reality. That is what makes reading fun.

This was a fun feel-good time travel story. Astronaut Sabine plucked from her current time/place/job by magical Eve and plopped into a different place/time/situation made for a great start to the story. I particularly liked Eve for all the very entertaining sassy banter with Sabine as she was trying to sort out her situation. Damaged timelines/ life threads, fated souls and all of the relationship ups and downs as Sabine and Jack reveal their desires and fears to each other made this a pleasure to read.

A fun, feel good story

A delightful story. We often do not realize what makes people act as they do. Something in their childhood or in their adult life. Either way it is what makes each of us who we are. It is this understanding that brings Jack and Sabine together, accepting each other for who they are. If you want laughter, drama and romance, I recommend this book.

So stinking cute! I am not the biggest fluffy romance fan but this was amazing. I loved the fast pace, I never had a chance to get bored bc something interesting/funny was happening every chapter. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

strange story. pretty corny

This is a very strange, pretty corny love story. It doesn’t have a lot of pages so no regrets. I wouldn’t recommend.

I found this time travel novella on Amazon but couldn't find it anywhere on Goodreads so I had to "create a book" on one of GR pages, I don't even remember where I found it.

This was about a female astronaut, Sabine, who's visited out in space by another someone named Eve and Eve told her she was to be “relocated” so off they went to the Wild West. This would have been a much better story if Sabine hadn’t been so accepting of all that was happening to her. And she fell for Jack too fast. PLUS, she was a little TSTL in being hurt that Jack wouldn’t look at her and ignored her as much as he could. HELLO, Sabine, you’re dressed like a boy and pretending to be one. By 35% I was getting tired of her being so stupid. Fortunately, right after that it came out that she was a girl but then it just got plain ol’ silly. It took about 3 minutes for Jack to kiss her after finding out she was female. And, boy, did she say stupid things for being an astronaut, with a degree in biology and a minor in engineering. She sounded like a love-sick teen most the time.

But, even if it were a novella, it was an okay story. A lot mushy shit, that’s for sure. I thought something was going to happen with Evil Billy but he and Sam were just gone one day and that was that. It would have been better if Sabine would have kicked his ass when he found out she was a girl and wanted to “use” her for a little fun.

I liked Eve, Sabine’s fairy god-mother or guardian angel or whatever she was, she never said.

The sex was very vanilla so I doubt it would offend readers that don’t like sex in their books.

another great Once Upon Another Time

Take yourself off to another where and when with relocation specialist Eve. This time, she matches soulmates astronaut Sabine to Texas Ranger Jack in the Old West. It’s a wild ride from a shuttle in space to the back of a horse, but the romance is so sweet. The book is clean, funny, and there is a guaranteed HEA.

Loved this one! Relocation Specialist Eve brings Sabine back to Texas 1850 to meet Jack. They both have to let down their guards and learn to trust each other. And when they do?! What a love they find!
