Not bad but not great. The book promises a lot but never really dives deep. This book is more for the creative that wants to dip their toes in the pool and try out some ideas or to get a picture of how things work. Overall not a waste of time especially if you're being a sponge. However, none of these ideas are really unique to this book alone so if you decide to skip it you'll still see them elsewhere. On a more personal note if this book tried to focus its efforts on say 20 principles it would have been far more engaging.
