I came across this poem by staying up late at night. The T.V. would go off the air with a jet flying by and this poem is quoted.
This poem quoted by President Ronald Reagan in January 1986 made John Gillespie famous. But that was just the beginning of the story of “The Pilot Poet”
Now learn who he was and what he wrote.
This book contains a biography by Stephen Garnett.
And a Forward by Roy Faiers editor of “This England.”
