Debo declarar que asi como no he'creido nunca que la lengua española pueda sufrir en América una bifwrcación fundamental, tampoco juzgo po sible que surja una literatura verdaderamente desligada de la de España, dado que tenemos aqui y allá - hablo de los que quieren ser comprendi dos como cantera común, un mismo vocabulario. En este orden de ideas, los núcleos intelectuales de allende el mar están acaso más cerca del corazón de Castilla que algunas regiones de la Peninsula misma, donde idiomas o dialectos especiales fa carecen la creación de atmósferas ideológicas di ferontes.
