THE STAR-SEER'S PROPHECY TRILOGY is an epic metaphysical fantasy of sacrifice and redemption on the healing journey toward love and awakening. The three books of The Star Seer's Prophecy delve deep and take the reader on an inspiring and emotional journey. A fearless combination of dark sorcery, healing magic, intrigue, and poignancy, it is a gripping story that both those who seek personal and spiritual growth, and fans of rich and meaningful fantasy, will love. Not for the faint-hearted or straight-laced, these books are recommended for adults who want to be challenged, touched, and awakened.
In the third and final book, Perilous Bliss, Kyr, the hero who liberated the land and people of Khailaz from the horrific reign of the Soul-Drinker, has survived the first two hells of the Star Seer's Prophecy. Scarred and tainted from his second ordeal, Kyr arrives in a peaceful haven called Ravenvale, the home of the Warrior Mage, Rajani, his friend and rescuer. Here, Kyr hopes for healing and rest, at last, though he knows by now that his beloved Goddess may require more sacrifices from him.
And indeed, beneath this tranquil surface, Kyr discovers long-hidden secrets and realizes that he has been terribly betrayed. In a storm of rage and despair, he plunges into the third hell of the Star-Seer’s Prophecy. Alienated from his friends, himself, and, worst of all, his beloved Goddess, Zhovanya, he flees to a mysterious tower, where he finds the solitude that is all he can bear. But the time has come, at last: the stars are moving into the pattern foreseen long ago by the Star-Seer. But the time has come, at last: the stars are moving into the pattern foreseen long ago by the Star-Seer. The healing of the web of life, the fate of the Goddess Herself, and the renewal of the Sacred Balance all depend on Kyr’s ultimate choice. Will he succumb to rage and despair— or keep to the hard path of forgiveness and compassion? And will the Goddess keep Her Promise to him?
Zhovanya’s Promise If the chosen surrenders all yet never yields, the sacred balance shall be renewed, and passion, peace, and love will fill his days. From Fierce Blessings, Book Two of The Star Seer’s Prophecy
Enjoy the trilogy in sequence and enter a realm of evil and redemption, suffering and forgiveness, secrets and forbidden love. Be sure to read Dark Innocence (Book One), and Fierce Blessings (Book Two), for the trilogy is one continuous story of Kyr's arduous and transformative journey on the "hard path."
The Star-Seer’s Prophecy confronts the evil and cruelty that we humans suffer and inflict in our dark innocence; and holds forth a vision of healing, compassion, and forgiveness that is so needed in our world. It is dedicated to ending the personal and societal culture of hatred, revenge, and punishment, and evoking an inner and outer culture of compassion, forgiveness, and healing.
Hello! I’m Rahima Warren—an expressive artist, eclectic mystic, and a third-generation native of California, where I live with my husband, periodically chasing squirrels off our wild bird feeders and deer away from my roses. My life-long love of fantasy is my parents’ fault: they left sci-fi and fantasy magazines with fascinating cover art lying around the house, and they were the first things I picked up to read.
For 20 years, I was a licensed psychotherapist. Combining my love of fantasy with my experience with my clients, and from my own inner journey, I wrote The Star-Seer’s Prophecy trilogy from a place of compassion, emotional and spiritual authenticity–and surrender to the creative flow. In other words, the hero of the story took over my life and turned me into an author! For more about that, visit https://starseersprophecy.com/author/
Book 1: Dark Innocence, and Book 2: Fierce Blessings are now available in print and all e-book formats. Book 3: Perilous Bliss, will be published in September 2017.
I started this trilogy without much expectation. I was just interested to see what it was about. That lasted a few pages and then I was hooked. I became absorbed in the vivid imagery, the depth of the characters and then the intensity of the suffering and pain initially with just the main character Kyr, but it fairly quickly expanded to the whole “family” of characters. It took me places in my own journey and ultimately my healing that I never expected. I am deeply grateful to Rahima Warren for having written this very powerful trilogy.
