#1 Amazon bestselling author of the Skin Walker series, Susan Bliler, gives readers what they’ve been dying for-- In the long-awaited book 3 of the Skin Walkers series, Bishop and Jenny clash head-to-head!
What happens when Doctor Jenny Houlton hides her affliction from her Skin Walker mate, Bishop Arkinson?
For six agonizing months, Bishop has been suffering. When he discovers Jenny’s deceit and betrayal, he’s too far gone to control his inner beasts.
Ravaged by the one man she was meant to call hers, Jenny knows her own treachery is to blame. Now, her mate is spiraling from his attack on her. She’ll have to convince him that her forgiveness isn’t a ploy while owning her part in pushing Bishop past his boundaries.
Can Bishop forgive Jenny for turning him into a monster? Can Jenny own up to what she’s done? How do two people at such odds find the love they deserve?
(This is book 3 in the Skin Walkers series. Since each book in this series focuses on a different couple, they can be read as stand-alones. Readers may prefer to read them in order for maximum enjoyment.)
*** Turning, Jenny took two steps down the irrigation ditch, praying her knees didn’t buckle, when every hair on her body suddenly stood on end. It felt like lightning was about to strike. Jerking her head back, she frowned up at the sky.
“JENNY!”
She startled hard and whipped her head around so fast it made her dizzy. Or was that the malnutrition and exhaustion? She swayed and had to throw out her arms to steady herself.
There, standing dead center in the road with hands fisted and broad shoulders squared up was Bishop. Every time she saw him, she thought he looked like a Norse God with his long blond hair gathered at the nape of his neck while his beard and mustache twitched with the angry tick in his strong jaw. Right now he looked even more like a deity with his gray form-fitting thermal shirt plastered to all those muscles that bunched and flexed under his labored breathing. Thick legs were splayed in dark denim over black leather boots while his bright blue eyes narrowed on her.
For a second she considered making a run for it, but she had nothing left. Her tank was fucking empty and worse; her beasts were in her head now. They knew what she needed, and they were baying in mutinous demand to take over her form and give her what she so desperately needed.
Turning to face him fully, she lifted her dainty chin in clear defiance, her dove-gray eyes sparking with challenge. Yes, she’d been wrong not to go to him, to tell him of her discovery and to ask his help, but it hadn’t been one hundred percent selfish. She was trying to help all the afflicted women and Skin Walkers, and for that, she would never apologize.
Apparently, the show of bravado sapped the last of her strength though because as she glared at her mate, the world rocked and then tilted violently. She hadn’t even realized she was going down until Bishop yelled her name again before rushing her as everything went black.
My pack territory is in Central Montana, between Stone Crow Estates and the North Fortress. Born and raised in an untamed location that bridges the gap between rolling prairies and majestic mountain peaks, I am born to a family that also bridges the gap between cultures. My father’s people boast a fiercely proud Scandinavian ancestry while my mother’s tribes descend from two savagely beautiful and unique nations (White Clay and Nakoda) that inspire my Skin Walker series.
I'm a huge fan of MMA, boxing, 30 Seconds to Mars, DMX, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and 21 Pilots (“…sometimes quiet is violent”). I also love to read because it encourages me to write. (I hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really? Who doesn't love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer...kidding. I don't love beer but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don't call me when you read this.)
Please leave feedback….well, only if it’s positive. “Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit! (Erykah Badu lyrics!)

I’m so glad that the author does not bring out a book till it’s at her high standard. We’ve been waiting for this book for a long time and it was well worth it. The book answers a lot of our questions but has left us with many more. I do suggest reading this series in order as they read better that way but I think there is still one missing. I can and do recommend this series to everyone
This is the third book I’ve read and I’ve only liked one of them (Redknife’s book was good). This book actually disgusted me. I disliked the female lead intensely. I felt that the author did not make her likable or make her experimenting on her own people make any real sense other then for her own selfish reasons.
I liked Bishop but even he wasn’t making any sense in his behavior. He was written for insta-love even over abuse by his fated mate!
Then there was the manipulation from Monroe again and at the end from Lawder too. I can’t stand bs writing like this. It means the story isn’t strong enough to flow into an HEA without sloppy plot premises like these. The author has an interesting idea in the “Skinwalker” but she just isn’t a strong enough writer IMO to pull it off.
I own the whole series but I’m not sure if I will continue wit it.
Jenny is a Doctor at Stonecrow who knew she found her mate, but trying to deny it and study the affection she hid it from Bishop and everyone else at Stonecrow. Bishop cant believe he finally found his Angel, but she doesnt want him. He has been lied to and tricked by her for 6 months, cause of her actions he is filled with shame and regret. He had believed something was wrong with him, he couldn't eat, sleep, function normally, he was almost ready to end it all... only to find out his Angel is the cause of all this. He needed answers , not her running away again. I feel so much anger towards Jenny for what she has done to Bishop and all the other Skinwalkers. I truly loved this book and series, but Jenny is not my favorite, and i dont like how so many placed the blame on Bishop...But other then my feelings about that i absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK. The suspense, not knowing what will happen next. This is a page turner and could not put it down.
Re-reading this book 7 years later, I can see why I continued with the rest of the books within this series. You begin to get a better sense the obstacles the Skin Walkers have/are enduring in order to survive. The world is truly evolving. This book finally explains why Jenny does what she does because of her past. Her need to control and the need to give others the ability to have a choice. Bishop's anger is also from an event in his past, and his feelings of unworthiness. Still trying to figure out why Monroe is so frickin manipulative, but am guessing that a lot of powerful people have to be to get where they are. And while his motives are good, his actions are bit too devious for me. With the span of years between the re-readings, most of the books seem brand new while others I get the 'Oh ya" moments of remembrance. Just starting Gauge, so stay tuned. Well worth your time and $$.
I read the first 2 books in this series after reading a few reviews. I liked the first book and thought that the world and created was interesting and had possibilities, however after reading this book in starting to declare already, let me say first that this is a considerably short book compared with the almost 4$ you spend since it isn't eligible for unlimited. I also thought that after 3 books ahe continually portrays the male chapters as rather 1 dementia Neanderthal that can don't think too much. All in all I would recommend the book but suggest they wait until it is free.
Being a lover of the Skin Walker series this book was much anticipated. And those questions i had have finally been answered! What made Jen do what she has been doing? What happened between Jen and Bishop? And finally, What's Monroe have up his sleeve next?
Well once again Susan you have killed it! Left me of course wanting more sexy Skin Walkers and their Angels and because i love this world that has been created so much, I often find myself imagining what life would be like if I was the Angel to some badass Skin walker. 💚
This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to pull you into the pages where secrets and fairytales live and dreams come true for those who believe!
This book was enchanting, enthralling and endlessly entertaining where stubbornness and determination to rise above conflict with a core of steel to get to where love and happiness lives! Bishop and Jenny's story will make you mad, sad and then happy.
This was it for me with this series. I hated that this doctor was treating this like her very own personal test group from the very first book.
I only read this one hoping I could find some sort of redemption or a good enough reason. Finding out that she had been caged and tested on made it worse since she was essentially doing the same thing to others WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE. Yeah, just a big nope for me. Will not continue since she has essentially received a green light to continue.

I have read every Skin Walker book you've published...some I've reread several times. All anyone needs to do is pick up just one and you'll be hooked just like me. I've read all of your Territory series also and I've got to say I always look for new releases. One question, when is and who is #4 in your Skin Walker series! Can't wait.
This book was hard to read from an emotional standpoint. But it was a story that needed to be told, if you have been following this wonderful series. It answers the questions, why did Dr. Jenny do the things she did, and why does she do what she does today. Jenny is not a bad woman, just a misguided one. But it all works out beautifully in the end.
It was a long wait and Bishop is worth it. Constant action with few breaks in a race to finish read the book. I have not missed a book by Me Bliler and I don't plan to start now. Highly recommend this book, series and author. Happy reading.
Sigh... not bad, not great. I keep reading the series because I want to like it. And it’s not that I don’t like it, it’s that I don’t urgently need to read it that’s driving me nuts... but they are good books... hmmmm
Not dissapointed in the slightest. Another book boyfriend to enjoy, i loved bishop from reading him in the other books but now ever more in love with the asshole that he is ❤
What a fantastic author. She draws you into the lives of the characters, another book you can't put down. Great series hope it continues for a long time.
I really, really don't like Jenny which made me not like this story. What she did was inexcusable and she is going to keep going. No thank you. End of the line for me.
Oh my! Jenny might have been doing it for the right reasons, but she almost lost her mate because of it. The author did a great job of showing us the emotional turmoil that both characters went through when trying to work their way past the break in trust to find their HEA. I was so happy to see Bishop finally get his mate. I can’t wait to read the next book.
