I like the fact that the author used example of people we can confirm there success in real life. I like that their historical background were used to inform where they started from in comparison to where they are not. It's a great motivational read for anyone who thinks or feels they are not better than other successful people. Thank you 💝💝
Because I read a great deal about motivation, I have heard all of these ideas before. They are vague and offer no steps to increase motivation or persistence. The author gave thumbnail sketches of people who have made significant contributions after starting poor and overcoming obstacles. I didn't feel this added to helping anyone get things done. These were vague generalities of dubious value.
I am very delighted to read this book. It’s straightforward and feels like someone is talking to you in a friendly mentoring way. Despite of the page numbers, it can be deep and takes time for me to read. A very good read!
Great tips to achieve your goals: - Don't be afraid of small beginnings - Have a vision - Focus on what you want to achieve Your past don't determine your future.
