The cover shows a handsome dark-haired man. Yet, just a few pages in I find the hero “was running his hands through his thick blond hair.” I had to grin. However, as I continued reading I began wondering why reviewers by a great majority were awarding five stars. The storyline was dragging and repetitive. It seemed to take forever to uncover exactly why Joseph was so down on himself. Editorial errors were sprinkled abundantly through the pages and I was tempted to abort the read. How glad I am that I didn’t. Ms. Meyer began reaching her stride about halfway through and the final chapters were nothing short of phenomenal. The plodding beginning ended in a full gallop that pulled me in and tugged at my heart-strings. To continue the equestrian theme found in the story, this is an offering that came from behind and won the race by a nose.

In this touching story there is so much one can identify with, especially the lost cause of missed opportunities. Joseph is heartbroken when he finally comes to the realisation that he missed out on precious time with his dying daughter but is going about the business of making amends the wrong way. . After Millie rear-ends him in a parking lot, he is aghast because he can hardly believe that anyone could hit a stationary car. Millie is suffering from the after-effects of having been jilted on the way to the altar, and her concentration isn't what it should be. The attraction between Joseph and Millie is immediately, but both of them know that pursuing their feelings is only going to lead to broken hearts. Nevertheless, Joseph finds himself becoming involved with Millie patients in the hospital and through them he finds an outlet for his grief. When the self-centered fiance shows up on Millie's doorstep, she is conflicted and has to make a choice whether to allow him to walk all over her again or to point her life in a new direction. There were a few small typos in in the book, which didn't detract from the story, but otherwise it is well written, clean and opens one's eyes to the realisation that beating ourselves up over past mistakes cannot change the situation, but only makes us miserable. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

With each book, I'm becoming a fan of Ms. Meyer.
Millie and Jospeh are likeable, believeable characters with heartwrenching tales of woe as their backstories. All you want to do is fix both of them so the title is apt for the tale.
There's lots to love about the story and the charaters big and small as well as the setting. The villain is Millie's ex, but even by the end you hope he makes some changes and finds someone to have HEA with. I like Millie's roomy. She's a trip.
Hearts heal. Life continues. Love succeeds.

This is the 5th book by Anne-Marie I have read and it's my least favorite of her series of clean billionaire romance books. I still enjoyed it but I didn't connect with the characters as much as I have in previous books. Unfortunately, parts of it just didn't feel believable to me and that kept me from loving it. That sounds harsher than it should as it's still a good book that I don't regret reading. I recommend you start with some of the other Clean Billionaire Romances by Anne-Marie before picking up this one.

How does a parent recover from losing a child? Joseph Maxwell is broken after losing his daughter Justine and is traveling around the country trying to help others who are going through the same thing. Millie accidentally runs into him and in the process drags him into the children's oncology ward of the hospital. Joseph is roped into volunteering there. Will he be able to forgive himself over failing his daughter and allow himself to be happy again? Some parts of this story are sweet, some very frustrating and others completely unbelievable. I loved the characters in this story especially Anna May and Bo.

A great way to end this series. Millie is a nurse in pediatric oncology. When I read that I was worried it would be really depressing, but she did a great job handling the subject. She didn't say away from the hard stuff, but she didn't dwell on it either. Joseph is a billionaire trying to hide from and fix what he can of his past. He doesn't believe he is worthy of love and fights it. Millie and Joseph are great people who put others first. Will they allow themselves to be loved and to love in return?

Charlotte is one of the patients that he entertains and helps. It is sad but so wonderful. Love the characters in this book.

Fixing the Billionaire (A Clean Billionaire Romance book 5)
This book took a long time to get going. It was slow and repetitious sometimes both people saying a similar thing but the same in the end. Saying that once I got into the book more I realised that we don’t often hear of the guy suffering after the loss of a loved one and going a little doo lolly in the process. The story was clean and had a terrific ending.

Best book ever
I absolutely got so lost reading this book that I couldn't believe when the last page came. I loved everything about this book but I especially loved the characters. This book was well written, the editing had a few problems, but the story was one of the best I've read in a very long time. Highly recommended.

This was a sweet romance. It wasn't my favorite of the series. But it was a good book. There just didn't seem to be much chemistry between the characters. I like to have a little more in the story than just the romance and this one felt like it was missing that little bit more. But if you are looking for a good, clean, romance to wile away an hour or so, them this is the book for you!!

Accident prone when off-duty , nurse for children with cancer, disastrous love life, Millie crashes into Joseph in the parking lot. Circumstances occur to keep them in proximity. Joseph is working on helping people, because he "failed" his own daughter and considers himself a bad person. Actions always speak louder than words.

Strong Love But Deep Romance
This is an excellent example of second chance and true forgiveness of oneself to be able to find your destiny or soulmate maybe both this is a charming powerful story of love and understanding it's definitely a must read with a bunch of unforgettable adorable characters too.

Joseph is broken man that has built a wall around him he has lost hope and believes that he doesn’t deserve happiness, a series of events leads him in a different path and he starts to feel. A story about what can happen when you turn away from God and believe in the lies of Saturn even though this is not a Christian book.

Good story
Well written with great character development. This story is not rushed. It moves smoothly as the characters develop and learn from their experiences. This is an entertaining, clean romance.

Good one!
This one too me a little while to get into the book but it was a good one nonetheless. I enjoyed reading Millie and Joseph's story and getting to know their characters and struggles. Cute sweet story.

I loved, loved , loved this book. It was written with sensitivity and compassion. Childhood cancer is a subject close to my heart so I really appreciated the way this was written. The parents of children who have or had cancer often feel guilty and that they didn’t do enough.

A Feel Good Read!
what a refreshing clean book. It was written with warmth and humor. Loved reading how employees of a children's cancer wing loved their patients and worked hard to give them love and as normal environment as possible. I enjoyed Author Anne-Marie Meyer.

Have lots of tissue ready.
I loved this book even though I cried a lot. I understand all about cancer as I have 3 family members with cancer. This lovely story is so heart warming and mostly full of love and hope. Enjoy.
