Senator Andrews never dreamed he’d have to crash land his plane on a ranch in the middle of Wyoming. It’s love at first sight for the handsome Wyoming wrangler, McGuire Halston, when the Senator’s daughter, Katie Andrews, steps off the plane and onto his horse; but not for Katie, a successful fashion designer with no regard for ranching. She hates dirt and isn’t fond of animals. Stuck on the ranch while the plane is being repaired, Katie has a knack for getting in trouble and is unpredictable.

“Marry Me Katie,” Book 7 of the Whispers in Wyoming series, may be read as a stand-alone and is a clean, inspirational, and sweet western romance with themes of Christian heritage, family, and faith.

Just the right kind of Happily Ever After!

I just loved the story of Katie & McGuire from start to finish! Nothing went according to Katie’s master plan, from an unexpected crash landing on Sweetwater days before her best friend’s wedding to falling head over heels with a cowboy with a heart for the Lord...and his 2 little blessings. Yet somehow once Katie turns it all over to God, she realizes a peace she never knew was missing. Lovely & inspirational!

This humorous, delightful, contemporary romance is book 7 of the Whispers in Wyoming series but can be read as a stand alone. i love that it is a clean, inspirational, and sweet western romance with themes of Christian heritage, family, and faith. Senator Andrews has to crash land his plane on a ranch in the middle of Wyoming. It’s love at first sight for the handsome Wyoming wrangler, McGuire Halston, when the Senator’s daughter, Katie Andrews, steps off the plane and onto his horse. Not for Katie, a successful fashion designer, who has no regard for ranching, hates dirt, and isn’t fond of animals. Stuck on the ranch while the plane is being repaired, Katie has a knack for getting in trouble and is unpredictable. Will McGuire propose to her before she leaves? Or will she leave thinking she isn’t important to him?

This series has not failed me yet. I have read 4 so far. I am trying to read in order but I have jumped around a little bit. This is my first venture into a contemporary series and I am loving it.

Lisa Prysock has a wonderful grasp on following faith and her books shine because of it.

When Katie is dropped into Wyoming unexpectedly with a malfunctioning plane she meets McGuire. Katie is beautiful, talented, smart and a city girl at heart. McGuire is as country as a ranch hand can be. Their attraction is mutual, with a few bumps and bruises along the way. They are both Christian and both turn to God when troubles land on their shoulders. You will love the natural progression of this book and laugh with them when things go awry.

This is a fun book and a fast read. I know you will love this book and you will love the entire series!

I received this book as and ARC to read and give an honest review. All opinions in this review are my own.

A Huge Hit for Lisa Prysock!

Wow. Where do I start?
I love Lisa's books, both historical and contemporary. That being said, I will add that I absolutely adored "Marry Me Katie" and could not put it down!
Katie's unintentional antics coupled with McGuire's handling of them kept me cracking up (I even emailed the author to tell her so)! But even more than that, I loved the overall story.
Despite the hilarity and antics, angst and differences, this story demonstrates acceptance, forgiveness, and understanding. Two people from totally different worlds each trust and believe in their own faith, despite obstacles and circumstances from their past. This allows them to overcome their differences in order to find the love of their lifetime.
My favorite of Lisa's so far, an easy 5-star rating for a wonderful, easy read that I'm confident will be a favorite of many! Congratulations, Lisa, this is a total winner!

Lisa Prysock hits a grand slam with this sweet story. City girl Katie Andrews, the daughter of a senator, crash lands on a ranch in rural Wyoming where she meets cowboy McGuire Halston. Conflict immediately arises between them but other sparks fly too! Will they put their differences aside and follow their hearts? This is a wonderful love story that I read very quickly because I couldn't put it down. I was gifted an ARC and these opinions are my own, but I think you will share them once you read this book.

Marry Me Katie

Love of the creator, love of the family and love of one another, that’s all the road we have to travel through life. This book sure shows us how to live with one another just like that. The Arthur writes very well and her description of each scene just puts one right in to the story .

A great western themed story

I loved the setting and I love Wyoming. Lisa knows how to write a nice romance story. And I liked the fact that the relationship changed Katie’s spiritual life.

Katie Andrews does not make a good first impression, or at least not after an emergency landing on a dirt airstrip at night in the middle of nowhere Wyoming.
I guess having to wait a couple of weeks for repairs ends up being a good thing. Katie ends up being really nice and willing to help, preferably without getting dirty.

Cowboy McGuire Halston notices the pretty girl but is unimpressed until he sees her when she's not under stress, and she gets to know a little about ranch life.
Both are Christian, and that plays into their interactions and into the storyline. This story was entertaining. I'm sorry I lost it in my TBR list.

Modern western romance but not Biblically correct

I thought it was cute how the author managed to make a emergency landing work in the story. I was disappointed however in reading that Mcguire was divorced. The Bible says in Luke 16:18, if a divorced person remarries that they commit adultery which is a sin.

Great story

A girl ends up in Wyoming after her father's plane has to make an emergency landing & then plane repairs.
She is a city girl & hates dirt & country. She has hilarious encounters with ranch animals. Descriptions like you find in Jesse Gussman books. Full of humor.

Wanted more

The story needed to go on. Would have liked to read about days up to wedding and the wedding itself. Lisa left us wanting more but I felt that the story was incomplete.
