The line between life and death is sometimes blurred... Barrack and Brogan have memories of their death--and it isn't a pleasant one. When the Goddess Aikaterina gives them a second chance at life--and at finding their true mate--they are willing to do whatever it takes to change their destiny. What they don't expect is that it would be so difficult! It turns out that their true mate is a human, a species they have limited knowledge about, from a planet they have never visited. With time running out, it doesn't take them long to realize that this may be one battle that will take all of their skills to win.
Delilah Rosewater is haunted by dreams of her death. She doesn't understand why the dreams feel so real, or why she knows with growing certainty that time is running out for her. Her feelings of frustration strengthen as she searches for the one person she feels could understand her increasing panic - Sara Wilson. She is shocked when instead of finding Sara, she comes face-to-face with two irritating men who claim to be from another world!
Caught in an unexpected snowstorm in the Appalachian Mountains, Delilah doesn't know what to think of the two men and their wild claims of a powerful Goddess, alien worlds, and new destinies.
Will Delilah open her heart to the twin dragons and accept the second chance that the Goddess has given them before time runs out for all of them?

Ok, I felt bad that Barrack and Brogan were killed when they lost control of their dragons, in the flashbacks from Twin Dragons, because of something that wasn't really their fault. I didn't think that I needed them to have their story told when I am waiting for Alliance, Kassis, Curizan, Sarrafin, Cosmos, Zion, etc books. I was wrong. I wonder if Mula's father and the other men in the village are alive now. And the sadness that Delilah saw in Merck's eyes, does he remember how his brothers died? This was good and I'm glad for this Valdier book. I'm now curious about what will be happening in the next book. It appears that maybe Aikaterina will have a story to tell.
I’m so disappointed with this one and it kills me to say that. I was bored and finally I dnf.
Realize when I say this, that I’m not a stranger to Ms. Smith’s books. Abducting Abby is a top favorite of mine (as is Choosing Riley) and I loved the other twin dragon book but honestly something is off here and I think it’s been that way for a while. I’m not talking about Ms. Smith’s writing ability because she’s obviously talented and her ideas are spectacular but something is being lost in the execution. It’s like the focus of her stories have shifted from the couple and their romance to everything else and relationship building? Pfffffft! What relationship building???? It’s practically non-existent.
I wish Ms. Smith would write more books like the first half of Abby or Riley where Bam! I’m interested in the story rather than give me all the details leading up to the couple actually meeting. I wish she would write a story that was more realistic in that most women aren’t going to want to leave Earth forever within a day or two of meeting an alien. Don’t tell me they are in love, show me. That was the genius behind Abby. The h thought she was having a “fling” and unbeknownst to her, the H mated her! That was so fun to read!
Unfortunately, while I adore the idea behind the Dragon Lord’s of Valdier, I did not love this.
Love this series very disappointed with this book!
I love this series as well as several others by this author whom I have read for years! However, this book was a major disappointment! It felt rushed and lacked depth. The chemistry between characters was lacking and not one intimate scene was complete! I loved the other twin Dragon book and was so excited for this release to read another steamy humorous MFM! Humorous yes(she never fails to disappoint there) steamy not at all! Plot wise i can see that this is a build up book but I could have easily skipped this one and not have lost my place. I did enjoy some of the glimpses of past characters and as well as the humor. I've been able to connect with all of these books in this series except this one. I just felt like I wasted my time and money with this one.
3,5 Stars Not my favorite book from the series and it is too bad because the twins deserved a better mate :-( The h is the kind of gal that instead of asking smart questions as to who the guys are, she believes is much safer to jump out of a window into a blizzard and hide in an unsafe place, she pulls the card of my Mother taught me to be nice and most people who have been mean to her and plays with the idea of giving shelter to a bad guy whom might be stuck with her in her house during the storm but throws the Hs out of her house because. Not the strong h , Ms Smith is has shown me in the past.

COMMENTS/NOTES: This was an ok installment to the series. After several books, things have become redundant, but still cute. The dogs and symbiots really take care of Delilah. She really doesn't need the twins, but they need her, or they will die. Their courtship is quick, Delilah adapts to her dragon easily. The bad guy Earl is quickly dealt with, Delilah agrees to sell, and moves to Valdier with her dragons.
Writer seems to have low confidence, or else why would she resort to porn just to try to keep a readers interest. Just saying, it's not necessary and doesn't have to be so obvious. Her concept is fun, humourous and different. But she trashes and ruins it with all her too quick too low budget pornography she's constantly slipping in, no pun intended. She can brush on sex but does she have to now make a another porno flick book, using threesomes fckn? Not only once but again in another book. I've had to constantly forward thru all the fake porn hub just to enjoy the other storylines, and now this book I have to skip altogether, including any others that mention three people fckn and suckn at the same time together. It's a bridge too far for me. I like my reading material to reflect what I'm actually hoping too read and enjoy. If I wanted porn i know exactly where to go to get porn and my mindset would be ok with that. But to silently slip porn into a regular book I'm trying to enjoy reading for it's fun, so called fall in love storylines, is low budget, desperate, and lacks faith in its loyal fan base. U don't need desperate porn to keep us interested, we already like ur writing. Don't need to cheapen urself or us with this old school hustler mag trash. And honey if we wanted pornography we definitely know exactly where to go to get it. She needs to have more faith in herself and in her readers. Stop all the sneak hentai b.s.and give us a real actual story.
I wished I live in the world of the Valdier and had my own dragon warrior or two! Aikaterina gives Barrack and Brogan a second chance at life. They had to be killed when their dragon, symbiot and human could not agree on a mate and they went crazy killing people in their village. But Aikatarina brings them back and sends them away because she realizes that it is her fault that things went wrong. Their mate hasn't been born yet so they have to wait many years. Then the Godess tells them to find a warrior named Joaquin and his mate Sara because they will lead the twins to there mate. The only problem is that they only have so many days to find her and convince her to love them before their time is up and the past will revert back to when they died. Delilah keeps having good dreams about twins and bad dreams about her death as a child. She also has a real estate mogul trying to get her land no matter what it takes but she isn't selling. When the two men from her dreams actually appear right as a huge snowstorm begins things become very interesting.
Ms Smith sure can write a mesmerizing tale. Thank the Goddess Aikaterina for changing the fates of these three great characters. Oh my goodness. I feel like I’ve waited forever for this book and was so sad when I had finished it. I could have carried on reading for hours more. Ms Smith gave me everything I wanted for these two lost twin dragon brothers. A great story, a very feisty and loving mate in Delilah and a much deserved HEA. Barrack and Brogan have been in my hearts since I first read about them and what happened to them. Delilah was a lovely and wonderful surprise heroine. I loved what happened to Earl and just wish the same had happened to Ray, his family would be better off without him. If you have not read any of Ms Smiths books do yourself a big favour and get started. This can be read as a standalone but the emotions from reading this are heightened having read the previous books. This will be a reread for years to come.
2.5 points It's probably just me and my reading slump but I could not get into the book at all.
The author was doing her best to set up a tragic backstory and there were goddesses running amok and dragon shifters with energy symbiots and spaceships and the different planet and I just went yaaawwwwn.
Maybe I would have enjoyed all the crazysauce some other time but now I just accepted the facts of life and erased it from my Kindle.
Sorry! I know I have read some books in this series before and had good fun while doing it.
Oh My Goodness, this book is the most riveting story that will take you places where the clock has turned back and wrongs, righted!
This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to be the most enchanting, enthralling and endlessly entertaining book you will ever read and I love how this book is a seamless integration with the books prior to this phenomenal gem! You have to get this particular book and series for your own personal library to enjoy reading anytime and anywhere you want to!
A wonderful visit to the Valdier universe, this love story is sure to please. Fans of the series and newcomers can get lost in the tale as the characters find their way to their happily ever after. Barrack and Brogan are two alphas that grab your attention while pulling on your heartstrings. What they can do to a girl's libido should be a crime. Delilah is just the woman they need. She is able to match them in all ways. When this trip comes together, they are hotter than a three alarm fire.
Ok. I know these books are stilly, for the most part, but I have to say, I’m always really impressed with the heartfelt stories S. E. Smith puts together. Aliens that shift into Dragons and the aliens are human looking, the males are very tall, handsome, very masculine and with incredible sexual prowess. Natch! But on top of that dynamic, the storylines are always so emotional. This book was no exception. I was shocked when I actually cried a time or two, listening to this audiobook. The narrator is perfect. His dragon voices are hilarious. I look forward to the next installment.
Have to admit I am not fond of time travel genre. I was not looking forward to reading book about the twins. Had wondered how they would be able to explain a woman that died as a child suddenly being alive. But I enjoyed how the author wrote this book. She convinced me it could be done and only was done because a “goddess” felt like she made a mistake. Now this put a bug in my brain that why do some not have mates on other planets and why can’t she create more dragon females?
Well, that's the end of this fairly weak series. There was lots and lots of poorly conceived science fiction here, and a bunch of marginally entertaining explicit sexual content. It seems that the farther along the series went the harder the author leaned into the poor science fiction and away from the explicit sexual content. So, they just got worse and worse. I think the author is good, or pretty good anyway, at the explicit sexual stuff. And, the science fiction is not the worst I've ever read so there's that.
Was is worth the wait, definitely. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to the hype but I have to admit it did that and more........
I've always loved the fact the this authors books take me away in my imagination to these places and worlds she describes. Books are meant to be an escape whether you want to travel to other worlds or to fantasy locations. I would recommend this author to anyone she's one of my favourites and I don't think I've read a book I didn't like.
I half-liked this book because I liked half the book & the other half not so much. The beginning & middle to near end I didn't like. The Royal Family scenes I liked especially the human women & the royal kids scenes. Reappearance of Sara & Jaquin, & Sara's reunion with her best friend I liked too. Barrack & Brogan finally meeting their true mate & convincing her that she belongs to them or they'll all die; not so much.
I just love Dragon Lords of Valdier series! The storylines are relatable and when I read any of S.E. Smith books,, it's like I am right there! I love the alpha men and the strong, independent women, that can handle them. I also love how committed the mates are to each other! Well done! I hope there's more coming!
Twin Dragon's Destiny:Dragon Lords of VALDIER book 11 by S.E.Smith
Another absolutely beautiful addition to the series. A wonderfully written charismatic story with plenty packed into the characters and their struggles to get their own Hea. Every page brings enjoyment so don't miss out on this book and any of this seies..it's terrific writing by S.E.Smith👏👏👏👏👏👏😍 S
The ancient twin dragons were thought gone. They had not been able to find their mate, which was driving them slowly mad. But a kind and generous Goddess intervened. This is their story. It traverses galaxies, time, and even death itself to repair broken hearts. Great story.
Unfortunately I had a hard time reading this one. I love the series but Delilah constantly running off and violent reactions were irritating. Her resistance is very understandable but really. It was getting old. The guys are good. I was hoping for funny misunderstandings involving Pearl's rules. Well. I look forward to the next book.
This book was well worth the wait. Very enjoyable read, waiting on the next one. I like that some of the previous ladies also feature in the stories. Hopefully we will see more of both of the twin dragons, since they stay in the same village. I would love to see a book about the younger brother. Thank you for a enjoyable books to read.
We finally see the twins get their mate. It's a lot harder than they anticipate. Now can they keep her? Love this series and can't wait to read more. I highly recommend this book.
Wow, what a great read. It has it all, twin dragons, an earth girl in trouble Crooked land development, a blizzard, and death threats. I love the twin dragons, in some ways they are clever and Others, clueless 👍💜
I can only say if you have not read these authors book you are missing love laughter and hot men from another world. WHERE STRONG WOMEN from earth teach them what love is
I really enjoyed this book. S.E. Smith has made a a big fan of her Dragon series. I can never pass any of the up. You will be rooting for Deliah to figure her love out for the twins.
Although good, we waited a long time to find out what happened to get Barrack and Brogan in a position to claim Delilah after she too was pulled from Death’s arms. Loved hearing Pearl’s commandments coming from the Twins.
Smith has outdone herself !! When I first started this series it was enjoyable and intriguing. It just got better with each consecutive book and I hope that the Dragons of Valdier series keeps going.
Have been waiting for this book since the first twin dragons release and it didn’t disappoint! Love this series and should be read from the beginning. Would recommend this book and series!
I have enjoyed all of the Valdier series. It's wonderful to see glimpses of past characters as the stories move forward. If you haven't yet, give the series a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
