Clarke Griffin has been on her own for three months after pulling the lever at Mt. Weather. Battling ghosts and the pain from Lexa's betrayal at the mountain, she nevertheless has to return to Arkadia to warn Sky Crew of a threat from Ice Nation and the power-hungry Nia, who maneuvers on several fronts to install herself as Commander and rule all Grounder clans. But a new danger presents itself--one that will force a reckoning with an old foe--and Clarke and Lexa will have to work together to forge a stronger alliance as the winds of war swirl from Polis to Arkadia. Both understand the growing dangers and the peril hidden in alliances, but neither counted on the depth of the connection between them.

This was a year long labor of love by the very talented Andi Marquette. It is a season 3 'The 100' reboot. This is the way things *should* have gone.
S03 E7 absolutely crushed my soul. Like seriously, it crushed me. I vowed to never watch CW again. Their handling of the relationship between Clarke and Lexa created an internet firestorm the likes of which I haven't seen ever.
Then Supergirl hit and we had Sanvers... Then the thing happened with them... And I vowed never to watch the CW again...
I'm holding out for Sara Lance in Legends of Tomorrow... And they'll probably make me vow to never watch CW again.
Yea. I'm still watching.
But in this book/tome it starts off after the switch has been pulled at Mt. Weather and Clarke is wilderness bound. And it goes on from there. And let me tell you folks, when Andi does the feels? SHE DOES THE FEELS. Her portrayal of Clexa is done soooooooo well.
She puts so much into this book it's crazy (or in Andi's words, cray!) She even conjugates her own Trigedasleng words where she couldn't find them.
If nothing else, her end of chapter notes are bloody freaking brilliant. And at 511,000 words there's plenty of nuggets, lol.
If you enjoy fanfic even a little bit, I think giving this a go would be well worth the investment. Even if you're not a 'The 100' fan you could probably catch on well enough to keep up.
At nearly 30,000 Kindle units it too me right around a week to get through. That's not a typo. 30,000 kindle page locations.
Thanks for the heal Andi, *this* version of season 3 replaces what I saw on TV.
