I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this story about Jack and Louise. Louise was upset that Jack got the promotion she thought she should have gotten and she hated that he was a playboy who did whatever he wanted, but mostly she hated that she was so attracted to him. Jack worked his way up from nothing and knew that Louise hated him and thought the promotion should have been hers. Jack worked hard and he played hard. Jack wanted Louise for the last eight years but knew she hated him and thought he was beneath her class. Louise was born rich and had a very privileged upbringing. When Jack and Louise are forced to work together, things will change and they have to decide exactly what they each want. This was a steamy read that was hard to put down. Jack surprised me, I thought he was going to be a real jerk, but he really did love Louise and just thought he wasn't good enough for her. Good one.

“Hungry CEO” is a fun read and a marvelous romance. Louise and Jack work for the same company and are vying for the position of CEO. Jack is made CEO leaving Louise angry since she has worked 8 long years towards this promotion. Louise felt that she was overlooked because she is a woman. When Jack and Louise must work together on an important contract, they realize that they have strong feelings for each other. “Hungry CEO” is a wonderfully written story filled with drama, tension, misunderstandings, passion and romance. One-click for a sweet fun read.

It's a short story about Jack and Louise. She wanted to be the CEO of her enterprise, but he has had the job .even if he’s handsome, she tries to avoid him and she thinks he didn’t deserved the job. But when they have to work together, she understands that it will be more complicate relation than a rich family girl and an ex Brooklyn boy.
It’s a well written story with excellent characters. I loved the relation they have, a slow recognition of their feelings, despite their prejudices.

Great read! I loved the fact both main characters were "mature" instead of twenty-somethings. Louise and Jack have done their best to avoid the other for the last 8 years despite the fact they work together. When Jack gets the promotion Louise felt was hers, things heat up. Forced to work on the same account, the two realize that there may be a different reason they have avoided each other. Will continued misconceptions keep them apart or will they finally "talk" to each other?

A sweet love story about two persons that worked in the same company for several years. Both are aiming at the CEO post.
Jack got it - Louise didn’t.
Jack has been interested in Louise for a long time. Louise have persuaded herself that he is just a hot looking man but nothing else and nothing for her.
So it starts and then....
Sometimes the future is better than you thought.
Both Louise and Jack’s characters are well described and their interaction are hot.

Louise comes from a wealth family with old money and things are done a particular way. Her father was on her back about not getting the CEO's job at her company and the man who did. The only problem she had with the man she just didn't like the way he went about business and thorough woman. Jack had made his way thorough the ranks starting at the bottom to his new CEO's position. He never saw himself as the settling down type but one woman in his office that just drove him nuts. Great story line that makes you smile and frown but can't put down until your finished, all in all a great read.

Jack and Louise have been eyeing the CEO position for 8 years and Jack got the seat. Both of them hide their crush from each other. Louise saw Jack the manwhore got bj in his office. They had to work together for the Medusa project. They had fun and she let him fingered and ear her pussy before she freaked out. Huhu. He always got jealous when she was with Roger or his friends. When she told him that Roger tried to propose her to sleep togethee, he broke off the deal. They both fuck and said their ILU’s.

It was so good I read it in one day! Jack and Louise have pretty much competed at work for the last 8 years and he won the be CEO job. But there is a little something else there between them that neither of them wants to acknowledge. The interaction and tension between then is great and the author really describes it so you can feel it! I recommended this book for your tbr list! Nice short read. We have Louise from upper class and wanting the CEO but did not get it. We have Jack who came from the bad side of town and had to work hard to get the CEO job. Jake has always had a thing for Louise, but Louise did not know her feeling for him and new her family would not except him. What will happen now that they have to work on a project together? Louise is a hard working stubborn woman who got pushed aside to be CEO.. and was given to Jack (I call sexist to the board) they have been coworkers for 8 years lust/anger/want is whats between them. Louise really has it against Jack, her new boss, the man she believes stole her rightful job. The heat was very evident between these two right from the start! I quite enjoyed the byplay between them and how much they enjoyed pushing the other! This is another amazing read from Charlize Starr.
