This was a pretty good book. It went from procrastination to decision making to mission statement creating and goals. This book covers it all and goes much further than procrastination. Which I now understand from the title that this book was not to avoid procrastination, but to help the procrastinator succeed.

So after owning this book for five years or so, I finally buckled down and read it. I think Author Lively does a nice job of categorizing what is procrastination and what is simply thinking, since sometimes you know what to do and don't do it (or don't want to do it); other times you just plain don't know what to do and need to research and figure out your options.

Although I think the author's personal reflections, reinforcing graphs/charts/tables, and her acronyms for helping you to get your projects moving were overwhelming, she did really lay out an easy-to-follow approach and shared with you in detail how to work through it.

This is not a book I will need to read again, but I definitely took away some useful tips and insights that I can apply when I am "stuck" on a problem.

Changed my view on the meaning of procrastination. Procrastination is typically viewed as a negative, however this book actually helps the reader to understand why procrastination is not necessary as bad as one might think.
